Enable the "Debug" code, go to any level with Tails or Knuckles, and
create the monitor with the "S" on it. Break it open and you will
become Super Tails or Super Knuckles. Each super character has
different features, the most interesting being Tails, who has birds
that will destroy an opponent for you.
Sonic The Hedgehog 3 And Knuckles: Very fast tricks:
While in Super Sonic, Tails, or Knuckles form, press B + A.
Sonic The Hedgehog 3 And Knuckles: Unlimited lives:
In the Launch Base level, get to the 1st siren. Charge up a Spin
Dash and hold Down. If a bird does not appear, release Down and try
again. If a bird appears, hold Down for the rest of the time limit
to get up to 50 lives.
Sonic The Hedgehog 3 And Knuckles: Gold Super Emerald:
Enable the "Level select" and "Debug mode" codes. Go to Lava Reef
Act 4. Go to the place where Dr. Robotnik takes the giant emerald.
Instead of staying on the floor that breaks, turn yourself into the
ring and move to the small ledge. As soon as you can go left, create
an S box, break it, then immediately turn back into the ring. Next,
move to the glowing super emeralds. The Super Sonic music should
play. Instead of a blue super emerald appearing, there should be a
golden one. *** This does not work with Knuckles.
Sonic The Hedgehog 3 And Knuckles: Unlimited air:
Enable the "Level select" and "Debug mode" codes. Go to any level
with water. Go underwater and when you run low on air, transform
into the ring then return to normal. Your air will be completely
refilled.
Sonic The Hedgehog 3 And Knuckles: Beta stage:
Activate debug mode then go to Hydrocity Zone Act 2. Near the end of
that Act, at the part were Knuckles hits the switch which makes you
fall near a fan which blows you to Eggman, enter debug mode and
press Down. Go as far down as you think is needed to pass Eggman
without fighting him. Now, go to the right. When you think that you
are past Eggman, go up. While still in debug mode, keep going to the
right until you reach a place that looks like the beginning of
Hydrocity Zone Act 2. Their will be no rings, spikes, badniks, etc.;
but only floors, loops, and that blue slide.
You must accumulate 30 hours of game time for each game. When you
are playing a game (for example, Sonic the Hedgehog), you can go to
the sub menu and select "Save Game". Once you do this, your game
save window shows a time (for example, 12:04:15). That time is the
amount that you have accumulated. Once it reads 30:00:00 or above,
games will begin to unlock, depending on which Genesis game it is.
Unlocking all games can be done over a period of only a few weeks.
When you start up your 1st game, you can if desired leave it at
the Title Screen then allow the Xbox to idle there for the entire
day. The game will still accumulate the hours, even though it is
just running the title screen. When you need to exit out of the
game, make sure to save the game before exiting. The amount of time
accumulated time will be labeled in the save window. Repeat the
process for the rest of the Genesis games. *** The Ooze and Comix
Zone can be unlocked by having a saved game file from Sonic Heroes
on your hard drive; or alternately playing all games for a total of
30 hours.
