To unlock the SnowKidz snowboarding mini-game, collect 10 Specter
Emblems. You can find these on every stage. To accelerate, press the
Analog-stick Up or hold D-pad Up. Players are Professor, Spike,
1-Ton, and Natalie. You will see a gauge at the bottom of the
screen. When you collect glowing bananas, your gauge will fill and
will give you a boost of speed. To increase your gauge, hold X and
release. This will make you jump. While jumping, hold or press
Circle or Triangle. You will perform a trick and increase your
gauge. *** To get higher up, jump while on a hill of snow.
Press Circle to evade an attack.
Press X for an uppercut.
Press Square for a quick light jab.
Press Triangle for a slow heavy jab.
Press Right + X for a dash uppercut.
Press Right + Square for a clockwise spin jab.
Press Right + Triangle for a counter clockwise spin jab.
When you complete Specter Boxing, extra characters will become
available. The extra characters include the Boss monkey, Specter.
You will also unlock survival mode, and you will only be able to
play as the Blue Pipotron in this mode.
If monkeys see you and jump into their UFO, equip your slingshot and
shoot it down. When it falls, the monkey will be temporarily
stunned.

Based on the popular Ape Escape® series, Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (Japan) brings Ape Escape™ onto the PSP™ handheld entertainment series this spring. Family-friendly, Ape Escape for PSP will feature multiplayer functionality and a wide variety of mini-games for players of all ages. This imaginative game provides players the challenge of capturing more than 200 monkeys in eight vibrant worlds spanning across more than 20 levels in order to prevent them from changing history! When a trouble-making monkey named Specter gets hold of the Professor’s Peak Point Helmet, chaos ensues. The powerful device, which can increase a human’s intelligence, has a disastrous effect on Specter, transforming him from a sweet, mischievous monkey to a power-hungry monster who has his heart set on ruling the world. The power of the helmet enabled Specter to break free from his cage while also allowing him to free hundreds of other monkeys at the zoo. Specter and the monkeys escape to a nearby laboratory where the Professor, who created the Peak Point Helmet, is working on his latest invention, a time machine. Taking control of the laboratory, Specter and the other monkeys use the time machine to escape into the past. The adventure begins when the player takes on the role of a brave young boy named Spike, a friend of the Professor. Spike’s mission is to pursue Specter and the monkeys who have fled to the past in order to prevent them from changing history and taking over the world.
