Book Of Secrets 100%
Normally, you need to win the game to unlock the "Book of
Secrets". However, you can get into it much earlier than that. In
Chapter 4, after getting out of the inn, go to Abnaxus's house on
the City Green. Just in front of the staircase is a flower bed. Use
the organic plastic (from the Border House, 2nd floor) in the
flower bed. The Book of Secrets is now open 9 chapters early.

The Journey Down: Chapter One [ Review ]

A big part of making a point-and-click adventure game work for players is to design it so that they can understand how the in-game world works right from the information they can gather right off the bat. It must not require too much tutorial since the gameplay mostly centers around the mouse pointer, so mechanics shouldn't be too complicated. This is something that The Journey Down seems to have gotten down quite nicely, ever since its low resolution version back in 2010. But with this new release in The Journey Down: Chapter One, it's now in HD and is the [...More ]

Fable: The Journey [ Review ]

Lionhead stirred up controversy when it was revealed that the next chapter in the Fable franchise was not going to be a traditional game that righted the wrongs of Fable III, but instead it was to be an on-rails adventure game that used Kinect for all of its control input. Traditional Fable fans were outraged at this change in direction, and while Fable: The Journey is a rough adventure, I think those disgruntled Fable fans may be the ones that will find the most to like about this game. Fable: The Journey is dependent on its plot. It is an on-rails [...More ]

Fable: The Journey - You vs. Kinect

Set to release very soon, on October 9th, Fable: The Journey is truly right around the corner. Despite being a part of the major Fable franchise, arguably Microsoft's most important RPG series, Fable: The Journey really hasn't gotten the same attention as previous entries. The reason for that is the game is releasing as a game that requires Kinect to play, serving as a spin-off in the series. To hype the game, Microsoft recently posted a demo on Xbox Live Marketplace, and I played through it, beginning to end, and came away with mixed feelings. Story Unfortunately, the demo failed to touch [...More ]

Looking Forward: Halo 4, Borderlands 2, and Fable: The Journey

Halo 4 is undoubtedly one of the biggest upcoming releases. Every entry in the Halo franchise, even the spin-offs like Reach and ODST, are monumental video game events, selling millions of copies on the first day of release. Halo 4 will likely continue that success, but Halo 4 is ever the more interesting since it's the first original Halo game not developed by series creators Bungie. Will 343 Industries be able to successfully take the reigns and deliver a new Halo experience that can compete with the other major shooters like Call of Duty and Battlefield? The first Borderlands game [...More ]

Journey [ Screenshots ]

Journey is a game developed by Thatgamecompany and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. This is an upcoming game for PlayStation 3 which is expected to be released this 2011. The game follows the story of a robed figure in the desert who only sees a mountain in the distance, a mountain he must reach. You will encounter other online players in the game but the only method of communication is a shout.  Each player can choose to help the other or not, but without in-game help your goal of reaching the mountain will be a [...More ]

Five ways Microsoft can convince me to buy the Next Xbox

On May 21st at 9AM Pacific, Microsoft plans on revealing the next-generation Xbox console to replace the Xbox 360 as Microsoft's flagship console. Xbox 720, Xbox Fusion, Xbox Infinity, or whatever it winds up being called, will be Microsoft's first steps into the eighth generation. I already have a Wii U, and I plan on buying a PS4, but have my reservations about picking up the next Xbox due to blunders this generation such as the Red Rings of Death. But I can be won over. And here's how. The list is numbered five to one, but there's no real particular [...More ]

2Fuse (Mobile) [Review]

Touchscreen mobile devices have proven to be great gaming platforms, especially with the casual gaming crowd. Most of the games that have become hits in these platforms are lightweight and simple, proving that even with all the big games with sophisticated graphics and such, there is still room for simple games for quick spurts of entertainment, which is what mobile platforms are definitely good at. 2Fuse by Mojo Forest is one of those games that is all about the modern handheld arcade experience. Each round of 2Fuse has a time limit of about a minute, in which you must collect the [...More ]

StarCraft II - Zerg Strategy: ZvP Fast Hive Ling-Ultra [Guide]

The Zerg vs Protoss matchup in StarCraft II has always been quite contentious since the start of Wings of Liberty. Protoss has a lot of ways to exploit the squishiness of their bug counterparts, while the Zerg does well in spreading the Protoss thin and picking at the weakest points of defense. Here's a strategy for Zerg that brings about a new way of thinking, albeit a risky one. Overview During Wings of Liberty, Zerg had come up with a mostly Roach-based strategy to deal with Protoss, including the ridiculous 12-minute Roach max build that hit them with the force of a [...More ]

StarCraft II - Zerg Strategy: 2-Base Muta [Guide]

Learning how to play Zerg well is not exactly a cakewalk. Out of all the three races in StarCraft II, Zerg has the most tedious fundamentals of all. You have to make drones and queens, make units, make overlords, inject larvae, spread creep, scout, and so on while the other two races don't have as extensive of a checklist. With that in mind, beginners don't have much room for a build order. There's this one though, which is pretty easy to follow and use. Overview The increase in speed of the Mutalisks in Heart of the Swarm makes it a deadly unit [...More ]
