Party of Sin [ Review ]
Most games released in recent times tend to have a straightforward plot involving guys with guns and goals, and they set off to get said goal and take out enemies left and right. There are certain types of that tend to have more unique storylines and concepts, most of them being derived from genres like platformers. With Party of Sin, this is the case as it has what the name says.
Party of Sin is a game about the personifications of the Seven Deadly Sins. They're kind of what you'd expect them as people, like Lust as a beautiful seductress, Greed [...More

Paper Mario: Sticker Star [ Preview ]
Fans of the RPG Paper Mario series would probably say that there’s nothing that hasn’t been seen before with this new installment, titled Sticker Star. After three games in the franchise, what more is there to feature? However, playing the game lets players see that much more could be expected from this adventure featuring the Nintendo icon.
For one, battles have been revamped in such a way that attacks and other commands come in the form of, as the title implies, stickers. These stickers can be compiled just like you would in the olden days, and you can consume them as [...More
New Super Mario Bros. 2 [ Review ]
Mario has been Nintendo’s mascot and trusty cash cow since virtually his introduction. With games and merchandise in the dozens, Nintendo has been milking the Mario franchise for all its worth, and with fan reactions being as it was – and in fact gaining new fans with each release – this approach does not show any signs of slowing down.
Mario and its beloved cast of characters have also been around the block in its several decades of existence, whether it be in racing, playing tennis, or fooling around with each other in a variety of quirky party games. [...More
E3 2012: Nintendo 3DS (Mario and Pokemon!)
Following a humorous introduction by Reggie Fils-Aime, Scott Moffit took the stage. This gentleman showed up at the Nintendo press conference on Tuesday, being the main presenter for the 3DS. It was there that this extra conference was announced, which has time set out to focus entirely on Nintendo's eighth generation handheld system, the 3DS.
The first revealed was a third-party offering that fans of the original DS should be absolutely excited for. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate was shown off a lot more extensively during this conference, and my god, it looks absolutely phenomenal. [...More
E3 2012 Report Card: Nintendo (New Super Mario Bros. and Mass Effect!)
Pikmin are all around us
Who is the most important person at Nintendo? Shigeru Miyamoto. Not only is he the mind behind gaming's greatest franchises such as Super Mario and Zelda, but Shigeru Miyamoto is one of the key people responsible saving the industry from the video game crash of 1983. Miyamoto is a bonafide video gaming legend. Starting their show with him was probably the best way to go about it. It got the crowd excited, it got me excited (...), and it got all the Nintendo fans frothing out the mouth, for sure.
The video in question showed Mr. [...More

Mario Kart 7 (3DS) [ Review ]
The release of a new Nintendo platform means a lot of things, including a new Mario Kart game to enjoy it. This is always a good thing as the Mario Kart series has proven itself to be one of the best in any Nintendo platform before the 3DS. This game franchise is the combination of good clean fun with absolute chaos that gets the adrenaline pumping and pulse rate rising. With Mario Kart 7, Nintendo has proven that while what's not broken doesn't need fixing, it still could use some more adjustments to make it even better.
By this time, it's [...More

Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games [ Review ]
The 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing was officially represented in videogame form in very surprising fashion, with two gaming icons starring in Mario & Sonic at the Beijing Olympics. Now, Mario and Sonic are back to represent the Olympics, with the event this time taking place in London, England.
Titled Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games, the game is poised to offer better activities than its predecessor. If M&S in Beijing was dominated by athletics, Mario & Sonic in London focuses on team sports, which are evidently popular in Europe, like football and volleyball. [...More
Super Mario 3D Land [ Review ]
This year, the Mario series entered into a phase of its evolution wherein its 2D and 3D worlds were bolted into one gigantic adventure with Super Mario 3D Land on the 3DS. Players now have the chance to transfer from pseudo-3D level interactions to 2D side-scrolling. Although it might not introduce its fanatics to a truly authentic 2D/3D combination, Super Mario 3D Land is a fresh and gripping experience that arrives in fine form.
More players are still at a loss if the marriage is possible, but Nintendo has made it clear and have shown that this clever concept is possible. [...More
Mario Super Sluggers: The Basics [ Guide ]
In Mario Super Sluggers, you can utilize four basic pitches. It is essential for a player to have more than one type of pitch to be unpredictable against the opponent. It starts with the Normal Pitch wherein the ball is thrown quickly without charging. In the Charge Pitch, you have to first pull back before throwing the ball when the two circles overlap. The third option is the Star Pitch, which is done by holding A+B as you are pitching, while the Changeup can be performed by holding A whilst pitching.
You must learn to employ deception by conditioning your opponent [...More

Mario Sports Mix Hockey [ Guide ]
Hockey in Mario Sports Mix is a pretty straight-forward business. You need to score more points than your opponent. In the most basic sense, that means scoring the most goals. You start at the center as a match begins and players grapple for the puck. Then you try to slide the puck along the ground before using a swing of your stick to knock it into the rival team's goal. When that happens, everyone returns to the center of the arena and the process repeats until finally the time allotted for the round expires.
There are complications, however. [...More
Mario Sports Mix Dodgeball [ Guide ]
Dodgeball matches tend to be over rather quickly, due to the rules of that particular game. To win, you need to knock out your opponents. In a game with default settings, each character on the court starts with a full blue life meter. When a given character takes a hit, part of his or her life meter is removed. The exact amount that disappears depends on the power of the throw, which is affected by the inherent strength of the character who threw the ball and also by the number of coins that character has collected on the court. [...More
Mario Sports Mix Basketball [ Guide ]
While the basketball itself in Mario Sports Mix is not difficult the competition sure does heat up in the later levels. So you better study up.
The first trick is to spend as long as you can without shooting. In later rounds you should always make a shot if you have an open opportunity. In the earlier rounds, success relies more on your willingness to keep the ball away from your rival. Most of the time, the members of the opposing team won't try to rush you, so it's easy to let the timer tick down and to only make the [...More

New Mario Game Coming for 3DS
Thats right enough ports coming to the 3DS we need a original Mario game with 3D in mind. Well Joystiq is reporting that Miyamoto has confirmed just such a game.

Hey, what's up everybody this is you friendly neighbor Greenmousa delivering another tasty review for the Nintendo DS. This time around we're looking at Mario Vs. Donkey Kong: Mini Land Mayhem. This title actually takes so much from the old school games, as a matter of fact, the first appearance of Mario in a videogame was in the first Donkey Kong. The little plumber had to climb up to rescue a princess. Let's take a second to digest all that. A plumber fighting a giant monkey to rescue a princess that's presumably his girlfriend. Oh and the monkey hurls barrels [...More

The 3DS is hitting Japan in November?? Well this theory [...More
