Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage 2 [ Review ]Fist of the North Star is a Japanese manga that has spawned into a multi-media super franchise, with numerous animated series, movies, and video games based off this epic. It involves the main protagonist, Kenshiro, as he battles different warlords in a dystopian world, where over the top action and gory finishing maneuvers are the norm.
With this, it is a no brainer that Fist of the North Star is a perfect fit as a beat ‘em up game. One of the latest games based on the manga was Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage, released in 2010 by Tecmo [ ...More ]

Battlefield 3: Armored Kill [ Review ]It speaks in favor of DICE’s war-based FPS that we can review their DLC. At this point in time they are considered to be rivals to Call of Duty, which offers little more than new maps for existing game modes. Battlefield raises the stakes as it did with Bad Company 2’s Vietnam, releasing a second set of game-changers with Armored Kill. Quite the opposite of Close Quarters, which eliminated vehicles and included new, smaller maps for a quite arcade-shooter feel that was more similar to CoD, Armored Kill broadens the scope significantly and makes vehicles the be-all and end-all of [ ...More ]

Armored Core : For Answer
Armored Core is back for it's thirteenth instalment, yes, thirteenth! With the console power available today, playing with these robots should be fun.
Let's start with the games title which is Armored Core : For Answer. I would love to offer some kind of explanation as to why this was chosen as the games title, but you would only be as confused as I am about it. It is certainly not the first time a game developed by From Software has been given a bizarre title, so we will just assume it's a personal thing on their part and leave it [ ...More ]

Spongebob Moves In [Review]Ask any child – heck, even most adults – and they’ll know who Spongebob Squarepants is, along with Patrick Star, Mr. Krabs, Squidward, and the rest of the crew. They might even know the entire theme song by heart, which in itself is an amazing feat. Truly, Spongebob Squarepants is one of Nickelodeon’s most iconic and endearing cartoon series, and it has spawned various merchandise, as well as some great video games. Unfortunately, Spongebob Moves In is not one of those.

Starcraft II - Terran Strategy: The Nuke Rush [Guide]Few things in StarCraft II can ever match the fury of a tactical nuclear strike, sent down from the heavens by a carefully positioned Ghost. It's like cleaning up a mess with magic, with enemy units disappearing all at once and buildings sustaining massive damage that would have taken over a minute to deal. It's usually reserved for the mid to late game as a defensive tactic or as an equalizer, but there is also a way to bring it in the early game to surprise the opponent.
Overview
Terran players don't need any logical reason for doing a nuke rush. [ ...More ]

Chernobyl Commando [Review]Most of the games churned out by the indie game development scene are pretty good, some of which even inspires awe and wonderment. However, there are some not-so-good ones that sneak past whatever filter there is and get released. Some are really bad, while most are mediocre at best. Chernobyl Commando is one of those titles, unfortunately enough. While it doesn't seem so bad at first glance, you then play it and see the cracks within.
Chernobyl Commando is a game about Captain Yuri Ryakov, who was sent to Chernobyl to intercept terrorists who are attacking the power plant. [ ...More ]

Resident Evil: Revelations (HD) [Review]Here is yet another Resident Evil game. Before the collective moan and groan, give this game a try before handing it a verdict, unlike what most did with the much-condemned but alright Resident Evil 6. It's a multiplatform re-release of the Resident Evil game for the 3DS from early last year. That's yet another HD remake by Capcom, so this may not get a vote of confidence from gamers right away. But at least it's still about the zombies.
Resident Evil: Revelations is set between the events of Resident Evil 4 and 5, just after the establishment of the Bioterrorism Security [ ...More ]
