| Enter a "Hot Lap" trial in any chapter, a trial in which you only need to beat a lap time, not one of the average times. Start the race, then on the 1st lap, get the time needed. You now have passed the stage, but do not end the 2nd lap. Find a good, straight portion of road. You get Kudos for turning with the handbrake. Go to one side of the road as fast as you can. As you are approaching, do a 180º turn using the handbrake. If done correctly, the words "Wey Hey" should appear on the screen. Next, drive the way you are facing to the other side and do the same. When moving the wrong way, you need to spin 180º in order to get the Kudos. Just keep repeating this, then finish the race. For every five minutes that you do this, you will get approximately 1000 Kudos. There is no time limit. The best city for doing this trick is San Francisco, as it has wide roads. Play jokers to get more points -- if you do this for 20 minutes with a joker, you can get more than 8000 Kudos in just one race. | ||

| Kudos Cheat! First thing you must do is enter in a "Hot Lap" trial in any chapter. Then you must make sure you pass the time test with at least one lap to make sure you earn your Kudos. Once that is done all you have to do is find a comfortable spot to drive back and forth while you make your kudos turns. When you feel you have made enough Kudos points then just finish the race and watch your points rack up. | ||

Hint: Other vehicles in street race mode: In some of the specials, you could win a new car, cheat mode, circuit or garage slot. However, you can also win the one of the three buses, taxis and even a lawnmower. They are all easy to challenge for, once you win them. The best is the red London bus. Once you win it. you will notice that you cannot go back into street race mode. Go to your garage and pick a car (not a bus, taxi, or the lawnmower). You should now be able to enter street race mode. Go to the level you are stuck on and enter the certain task (hotlap, timed run, one on one, etc.). Go to "Change Car" and choose the red London bus. You can now drive it in street race mode. | ||

| Lose 0 Kudos When Discarding a Car 1) Go to the ''Your Garage'' option. 2) Pick the car that you want to get rid of and then choose the ''Discard Car'' option. DO NOT choose yes. 3) Remember or write down the number of kudos that it says that you will lose for discarding the car and then choose ''No''. 4) Go back to the main menu and choose the ''Street Racing'' option. 5) Pick any chapter and any type of race ( Challenge, Hot Lap, Timed Run, etc.). 6) Choose the ''Change Car'' option, and pick the car that you want to get rid of. 7) Start the race, and when you are in the race, press START on your controller and choose ''Quit Race'' 8) After quitting the race, you will be shown that you have lost 50 kudos for abandoning the race. 9) Head back to the main menu and choose the ''Your Garage'' option. 10) Pick the car that you want to get rid of and choose the ''Discard Car'' option. Again, DO NOT choose yes. 11) You will notice that the kudos for discarding the car has changed by a certain amount of kudos. 12) Choose ''No'' and keep repeating steps 4-8. Once you have reduced the amount of kudos that you will lose for discarding the car to the amount that you wish, discard the car. 13) After discarding the car, there will be a empty slot in the garage, ready for a new car! * Starting a Race with Bonus Kudos At the end of a race, jam on the emergency brake and force the car's back end to swing around just before crossing the Finish Line and continue doing this as the Finish Line is being crossed. At the start of the following race, the ''K'' (Kudos) symbol will appear faintly, granting the player a few bonus Kudos to begin the race. This could be especially useful for those events which have a minimum Kudos level for passing. | ||
