Harley Quinn's Revenge [ Editorial ]

Batman: Arkham City was one of the best games of 2011. I was vehemently against Arkham Asylum -- it just didn't meet the hype for me, but Arkham City absolutely blew me away. It was like Arkham City was the game that everyone thought Arkham Asylum was. I loved writing my guides for it on Cheat Masters and I loved reviewing the game as well. It was an absolute blast. Even with stiff competition from games like Skyrim and surprise hits like Dead Island, Arkham City remains my favorite game of 2011. As such, I was extremely excited when I found [...More ]

Harley Quinn's Revenge [ Review ]

Within just a small amount of time, Batman: Arkham City has become a modern classic with its dark mystery and very engaging storyline. The story ended with a bang, and Arkham is left to pick up the pieces. It’s not a fairy tale ending, but it is an ending, nonetheless, and gamers have nothing more to do than drop their controllers and get on with their lives. However, this new DLC from Rocksteady games for Batman: Arkham City pulls you back into the game. Harley Quinn’s Revenge is an extended chapter into the lives of Batman, Robin, Oracle, and everyone in [...More ]

Gnu Revenge (iOS) [ Review ]

Puzzle games that involve moving or tossing something from point A to B in order to accomplish something have since become quite popular in the App Store, with Angry Birds being the prime example. As this basic idea becomes more diverse through time with each game, you'd then encounter a game like Gnu Revenge, which is something that you may be interested in. You play as a Gnu, a member of a humanoid goat-like race that was suddenly invaded and enslaved by the evil crocodiles. As the last free Gnu, you are the last hope of your people and must take [...More ]

Tap Tap Revenge 4 (iOS) [ Review ]

When the first Tap Tap Revenge came out, it made the most of the iOS' touch screen interface for gaming. Rhythm games have since become an established genre since the late 90's courtesy of Dance Dance Revolution, so a game like this was really a no-brainer. Now with a fourth title out, the Tap Tap Revenge series has become the most well-known rhythm game for the iOS. Naruto Shippuden: Shinobi Rumble [ REVIEW ]

The Nintendo DS has hosted an awful lot of Naruto games. At this point, it would help if Tomy gave us all a scorecard to keep track of two different Ninja Councils, two other Path of the Ninjas, a pair of Ninja Destinys, Naruto vs. Sasuke, the Japan-only Naruto RPGs, and however many other Narutos we've long forgotten about. To make matters more confusing, the new Naruto Shippuden: Shinobi Rumble doesn't have much in common with any other DS game, at least once you look under the hood. It's the first handheld entry in the series from Eighting, the company that [...More ]

Star Trek: The Video Game [Review]

Perhaps one of the big fantasies that geeks have when it comes to games is a Star Trek game that holds up to how the show was. This game based on the new Star Trek movies is perhaps the closest that we now have to that fantasy, compared to those of yesteryears that were featured in an episode of Angry Video Game Nerd. However, it may have just been the continuation of that tradition. The cast of the new movies lent their voices to this game, which makes for pretty good cutscenes and in-game banter. The relationship between the young James [...More ]
