Doduo Mode*Pokemon Stadium*

Beat the Poké Cup. Once you have won all the Poké Cup tournaments, the GB Tower changes into Doduo GB Tower and a Doduo sticker appears on the Game Boy. The Doduo upgrade doubles the speed of the game play when playing the Game Boy game on your N64.

Flying Poke Cup roof lights*Pokemon Stadium*

Win the Vs. Mewtwo battle to see the credits. When a scene showing the Poke Cup Arena appears, look at the roof lights to see that they are flying.

GB Speed UpgradesPokemon Stadium

There are 2 secret speed upgrades to the GB Tower Game Boy emulator that let you play Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow at much higher speeds:

Get Amnesia Psyduck-Pokemon Stadium

Have you ever wondered how you can get the elusive Amnesia technique? Well, it's hidden deep in Pokemon Stadium. Unlocking it will take a while, but it's definitely worth it. You have to register ALL 151 Pokemon in the Hall of Fame. Whenever you beat a tournament (or Gym Leader Castle), your 6 Pokemon are entered into the Hall of Fame. It doesn't matter whether you use rental Pokemon or your own, but you can not have any gaps. Once you've filled it all up, you are awarded a free Psyduck bonus Pokemon that knows the Amnesia technique.

Get Pokémon for Game Boy game Pokemon Stadium

Complete one of the Gym Leader Castles of the Elite Four or your rival to get one of the following random Pokémon that can be transferred back to your Game Boy Pokémon game:
Eevee

Hitmonlee

Hitmonchan

Squirtle

Charmander

Bulbasaur

Omanyte

Kabuto

Get Pokémon presents faster

Complete the Gym Leader Castle. Then when you want to complete it again, go to the Gym Leader Castle, go directly to the Elite 4, and defeat your rival.

Get Surfing Pikachu(Pokemon Stadium)

Yes, it's true: Surfing Pikachu is hidden in Pokémon Stadium. To teach your Pikachu Surf (a technique it can normally not learn), you need to 1st unlock the R-2 (Round 2) mode. Then do the following:

Enter the R-2 Prime Cup's Master Ball division (you have to win the 1st 3 divisions first). Assemble a team that contains a Pikachu that does not yet know Surf. You HAVE to use a Pikachu from your Game Boy game. You cannot unlock Surfing Pikachu using a Rental Pokémon. Do not register your team! Pick it directly from your Game Boy cartridge.

You now have to win the Prime Cup's Master Ball division using a three-Pokémon team that always contains Pikachu. Pikachu has to be in every one of the 8 battles. You are not allowed to use any continues. If you do, you won't get Surfing Pikachu.

Once you have fulfilled all the above conditions and beaten the cup, you are shown an award screen with Pikachu standing on a surfboard. From here on, Pikachu can use the Surf technique both in battle and during gameplay (Game Boy versions only). If you've got Pokémon Yellow, you can now also access the hidden Surfing Pikachu mini-game. Simply go to the small hut on the northern beach of Route 19.

*** This is the Pokemon Stadium game from North America, not to be confused with the Japanese Pokemon Stadium. This game is titled Pokemon Stadium 2 in Japan.

Give Pokemon to another Game Boy pak without getting one back

Place the desired Pokemon in a separate box from which you have your regular Pokemon. Next, transfer that box to the 64box on the N64. Then shut off the system (if you only have one transfer pack) and insert desired Game Boy pak. If you have 2 transfer packs, then just switch the Game Boy pak with the one you are going to trade to. Now, transfer the box with the Pokemon in it to the other Game Boy pak and you will have the Pokemon without giving one in return.

Ineffective movesPokemon Stadium

When battling normal type Pokemon do not use Seismic Toss. It can be a fighting move, but is not very effective. The same happens with the Mega Drain attack when battling some Ground Pokemon in the Poke Cup, Prime Cup and Gym Leader's Castle.

Inflict greater damage

While your Pokémon is doing their attack, hold Down + L and repeatedly press A. Then when your Pokémon attacks, hold Down + L + A until the damage is taken. This is very effective when you attempt a fatal attack. *** This trick only works between 80% to 90% of the time.

Kids Club Hyper mode (Pokemon Stadium)

In one player mode with 3 CPU controlled opponents, successfully complete "Who's the best?" five consecutive times on the hard difficulty setting within one match. Hyper will be unlocked as a new difficulty setting for CPU controlled players.
