In the android saga in story mode right befor you go to the cell games you will be playing as hercule. Go to the moutain road. After you land there you will see yamcha. Talk to him and he will tell about his tournament. He is lvl 228. So you better have a good evoulution z with hercule. Hint for an easier fight put difficulty lvl on 1.
Once you have collected all 7 Dragonballs exit the current stage you are on and go to any Namek stage. Once you go to that stage you will still have all 7 Dragonballs. Go to the white dot and summon Porunga and you will be granted 3 wishes instead of 1. This works very well everytime!
Load a saved game file from the original Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi using the option at the main menu to get an extra 100,000 Zeni.

Find all of the special battles and win them. This will unlock alternate plots. A special battle is the Piccolo vs. Raditz battle. This is the first battle in Story mode.

As you are playing the Saiyan Saga scenario,gather all seven Dragon Balls but do not summon Shenron. After you unlock the Final Battle scenario, use the Dragon Balls there to summon Porunga. Even though the Balls were collected on Earth, they can be used on Namek. It is much easier if you gather them in one of the cities on Earth.
You need to fight with any character in Story mode in the Town stage and destroy all the buildings. After a while you will find a Dragon Ball. If you walk to it you will automatically get it. After you collect all seven Dragon Balls, go to the white dot on the map.

What you do is go to "dragon adventure" and pick the scenario "ultimate future warrior" then pick the scenario "02".Then fly to the red dot start fighting cell but don't kill him,destory as many mountains as you cane eventualy you'll find a dragonball.Repeat this prosses 7 times you sould have all 7 dragonballs when your finished.
You must smash through breakable objects in battle maps then run into the Dragon Balls to get them. You must also win the battle.
There is a harder way to get Dragon Balls. Fight somebody in either the Namek or Mountain Road level in Story mode. The Namek level contains a lot of breakables but are difficult to find, especially when you are locked on and your opponent moving and changing your view. On the Mountain Road level,there is almost nothing but trees. If you find Dragon Balls in those levels,just pick them up.
When you collect all seven Dragon Balls a little white dot will appear. Go there and give the Dragon Balls gathered to get your wish(es).

It can be a bit difficult when you fight Hirudegarn with Great Saiyaman 1 and 2 (Gohan and Videl). Hirudegarn is so BIG and any special physical moves just bounce off. This makes Videl about useless, and the only move Great Saiyaman can use effectively is his L2 + Triangle explosion.
You can try to convert back into normal Gohan by pressing Down + R3 . If you do that, you can now use many effective energy techniques that Great Saiyaman did not have. You can upgrade to Super Saiyan 2 which is strong enough to repel Hirudegarn with kicks/punches.
With Adult Gohan (Super Saiyan form), reach the part where Gohan fights Android 17 and 18. With Trunks (Super Saiyan form), defeat Android 17 and 18 with Gohan and watch the scenario after that.
If you select Super Saiyan 3/4 Goku, Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta, or Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta, you can hit giant or buffed characters with melee attacks.
You must defeat Jiece in Frieza Saga Story mode two times to unlock him.
You need to reach the Part where everyone goes off to fight Majin Buu in Majin Buu Saga Story mode to unlock Kaioshin (Supreme Kai).
You need to defeat Kame Sennin in Saiyan Saga Story mode to unlock him.
Complete the Majin Buu Saga Story mode to unlock Kid Buu.
You must complete Majin Buu Saga Story mode to unlock Kid Goku (Great Ape).
You must defeat Grandpa Gohan on the lookout tower in "Destined Rivils: 03" to unlock Kid Goku. In the Japanese version, complete the Majin Buu Saga story mode.
You need to defeat Vegeta with Trunks (Super Saiyan) in Majin Buu Saga Story mode to unlock Kid Trunks (Super Saiyan).

You need to defeat Majin Vegeta with Goku in Majin Buu Saga Story mode to unlock him.
You must defeat Baby with Majuub in Baby Saga Story mode to unlock Majuub (Ubb fused with Majin Buu).
Go to Z item fusion and fuse Powerball with Vegeta (scouter). It will become Great Ape Vegeta . Now go to Practice Mode. From here do Great Ape Vegeta's ultimate attack. On the side where it shows you the name of the attack, it will read Super Garlic Gun instead of Super Galick Gun .
When you unlock Vegito and Super Saiyan (or just Super) Vegito, his name is spelled Super Vegetto . There is also an entry on the Z Items List for Vegeto and Super Vegeto.
Dragon Adventure mode, under Fusion Reborn , one of the scenarios reads Paikuhan's Decisive Moment but it should read Pikkon's Decisive Moment .
Go to Dragon Adventure mode and play until you get to the Majin Buu Saga. Once you make it you will be playing as Fat Buu. While in that story, head to the top right area of the map and go to the Mountain Road area. Once you get there, Yamcha will offer you a contest to see how long you can last. If you stay alive long enough or if you are strong enough to defeat him, you will be awarded with 1,000,000 Zeni,Equipment Slots +4, and the Fox Mask fusion capsule. Once your done, go back to the selection screen for scenarios and repeat. Make it easier by increasing Fat Buu's attributes as much as you can.
You can take some time in the Android Saga scenario and pick the Goku Defeated!?! story. You need to head to the bottom of the map to the Southern Capital. When you are fighting try to destroy the buildings and look for Dragon Balls. Do this until you find them all. (Catch 'em all. nah..) Once you have them all, summon Shenron and he may have the Kiss From #18 capsule. That will quickly bring up your stats.
Need to buy capsules for your characters early on in the Saiyan Saga or Frieza Saga?
Just replay the Mysterious Alien Warrior (Saiyan Saga 00) event to unlock the hidden Fateful Brothers Saga. During the events of Fateful Brothers where you play as Radditz, there are many events where you can keep redoing the side battles against groups of Saibamen. Every win will reward a green Saibamen set Z-Item, some Zeni, and exp. Sell the Saibamen item set at Baba's shop for 150,000 Zeni. Just repeat this as many times as you want.
You should purchase the 4 Purple Z-Items at the shop too. Each set of two can be fused into the items Halo and Majin Seal. This allows good and bad characters to use their Blast 2 techniques at half energy cost. That is very helpful during more difficult stages.
You must defeat Cell (Perfect form) with Mr. Satan (Hercule) in Android Saga Story mode to unlock him.
You need to defeat Nappa in Saiyan Saga Story mode to unlock him.
You must complete all of the Dragon Ball Z Stories in Baby Saga Story mode to unlock Pan.
Defeat Pikehan (Pikkon) with Goku in Fusion Reborn Story mode to unlock him.
You must defeat Raditz in Saiyan Saga Story mode to unlock him.
You must defeat Recoome in Frieza Saga Story mode to unlock him.

Once in a while there are different types of transformations for a character. Such as, Gohan can turn Super Saiyan into Great Saiyaman. Press the D-pad to transform into another type of form. In the android saga in story mode right befor you go to the cell games you will be playing as hercule. Go to the moutain road. After you land there you will see yamcha. Talk to him and he will tell about his tournament. He is lvl 228. So you better have a good evoulution z with hercule. Hint for an easier fight put difficulty lvl on 1.
Once you have collected all 7 Dragonballs exit the current stage you are on and go to any Namek stage. Once you go to that stage you will still have all 7 Dragonballs. Go to the white dot and summon Porunga and you will be granted 3 wishes instead of 1. This works very well everytime!
Load a saved game file from the original Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi using the option at the main menu to get an extra 100,000 Zeni.

To get 100 percent in Story mode, get a good set of Z Items to power-up characters. You will find it easier to defeat the high level characters you find in special battles. Find all of the special battles and win them. This will unlock alternate plots. A special battle is the Piccolo vs. Raditz battle. This is the first battle in Story mode.

As you are playing the Saiyan Saga scenario,gather all seven Dragon Balls but do not summon Shenron. After you unlock the Final Battle scenario, use the Dragon Balls there to summon Porunga. Even though the Balls were collected on Earth, they can be used on Namek. It is much easier if you gather them in one of the cities on Earth.
You need to fight with any character in Story mode in the Town stage and destroy all the buildings. After a while you will find a Dragon Ball. If you walk to it you will automatically get it. After you collect all seven Dragon Balls, go to the white dot on the map.

What you do is go to "dragon adventure" and pick the scenario "ultimate future warrior" then pick the scenario "02".Then fly to the red dot start fighting cell but don't kill him,destory as many mountains as you cane eventualy you'll find a dragonball.Repeat this prosses 7 times you sould have all 7 dragonballs when your finished.
You must smash through breakable objects in battle maps then run into the Dragon Balls to get them. You must also win the battle.
There is a harder way to get Dragon Balls. Fight somebody in either the Namek or Mountain Road level in Story mode. The Namek level contains a lot of breakables but are difficult to find, especially when you are locked on and your opponent moving and changing your view. On the Mountain Road level,there is almost nothing but trees. If you find Dragon Balls in those levels,just pick them up.
When you collect all seven Dragon Balls a little white dot will appear. Go there and give the Dragon Balls gathered to get your wish(es).

It can be a bit difficult when you fight Hirudegarn with Great Saiyaman 1 and 2 (Gohan and Videl). Hirudegarn is so BIG and any special physical moves just bounce off. This makes Videl about useless, and the only move Great Saiyaman can use effectively is his L2 + Triangle explosion.
You can try to convert back into normal Gohan by pressing Down + R3 . If you do that, you can now use many effective energy techniques that Great Saiyaman did not have. You can upgrade to Super Saiyan 2 which is strong enough to repel Hirudegarn with kicks/punches.
With Adult Gohan (Super Saiyan form), reach the part where Gohan fights Android 17 and 18. With Trunks (Super Saiyan form), defeat Android 17 and 18 with Gohan and watch the scenario after that.
If you select Super Saiyan 3/4 Goku, Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta, or Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta, you can hit giant or buffed characters with melee attacks.
You must defeat Jiece in Frieza Saga Story mode two times to unlock him.
You need to reach the Part where everyone goes off to fight Majin Buu in Majin Buu Saga Story mode to unlock Kaioshin (Supreme Kai).
You need to defeat Kame Sennin in Saiyan Saga Story mode to unlock him.
Complete the Majin Buu Saga Story mode to unlock Kid Buu.
You must complete Majin Buu Saga Story mode to unlock Kid Goku (Great Ape).

Dragon Adventure mode, under Fusion Reborn , one of the scenarios reads Paikuhan's Decisive Moment but it should read Pikkon's Decisive Moment .
Go to Dragon Adventure mode and play until you get to the Majin Buu Saga. Once you make it you will be playing as Fat Buu. While in that story, head to the top right area of the map and go to the Mountain Road area. Once you get there, Yamcha will offer you a contest to see how long you can last. If you stay alive long enough or if you are strong enough to defeat him, you will be awarded with 1,000,000 Zeni,Equipment Slots +4, and the Fox Mask fusion capsule. Once your done, go back to the selection screen for scenarios and repeat. Make it easier by increasing Fat Buu's attributes as much as you can.
You can take some time in the Android Saga scenario and pick the Goku Defeated!?! story. You need to head to the bottom of the map to the Southern Capital. When you are fighting try to destroy the buildings and look for Dragon Balls. Do this until you find them all. (Catch 'em all. nah..) Once you have them all, summon Shenron and he may have the Kiss From #18 capsule. That will quickly bring up your stats.
Need to buy capsules for your characters early on in the Saiyan Saga or Frieza Saga?
Just replay the Mysterious Alien Warrior (Saiyan Saga 00) event to unlock the hidden Fateful Brothers Saga. During the events of Fateful Brothers where you play as Radditz, there are many events where you can keep redoing the side battles against groups of Saibamen. Every win will reward a green Saibamen set Z-Item, some Zeni, and exp. Sell the Saibamen item set at Baba's shop for 150,000 Zeni. Just repeat this as many times as you want.
You should purchase the 4 Purple Z-Items at the shop too. Each set of two can be fused into the items Halo and Majin Seal. This allows good and bad characters to use their Blast 2 techniques at half energy cost. That is very helpful during more difficult stages.
You must defeat Cell (Perfect form) with Mr. Satan (Hercule) in Android Saga Story mode to unlock him.
You need to defeat Nappa in Saiyan Saga Story mode to unlock him.
You must complete all of the Dragon Ball Z Stories in Baby Saga Story mode to unlock Pan.
Defeat Pikehan (Pikkon) with Goku in Fusion Reborn Story mode to unlock him.
You must defeat Raditz in Saiyan Saga Story mode to unlock him.
You must defeat Recoome in Frieza Saga Story mode to unlock him.
