Have you played Animal Crossing: Wild World? If you have then you should recognize a reference in Phantom Hourglass. When you 1st meet the Postman, you will talk for a bit. He will ask that you try not to shoot him with the slingshot out of the air. This is in reference to Pete the Postman in Animal Crossing: Wild World Pete the Postman suffers a similar fate that the Postman in The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass is trying to avoid!



Battle Jolene! You will be rewarded with a large red rupee that is worth 200 rupees each time you do. This is helpful when trying to buy all of the 1,000 rupee items at Beedle's and the Island Shops.



To gain the Fire Sword you need to get 10 Fairies. Then go to the Fairy Princess near the Sun Temple. Here you will will receive the Fire Sword.



Description: Here is a list of secret islands:

Spirit Island, SW Sea	South of Molida Island, there is three boulders, this island is in the center of the boulders
Zauz's Island, NW Sea	A little Northwst of the Isle of Gust, directly above the fog
Uncharted Island, NW Sea	Below Bannan Island
Dee Ess Island, SE Sea	East of Goron Island
Harrow Island, SE Sea	West of Isle of Frost
Maze Island, NE Sea	A little Northwest of the Isle of Dead

Description: Performing the following steps of fetch-quests to get the Hurricane Spin ability:
1. Head to the traveler's ship in the northeast section of the sea. Defeat the monsters there and you will receive New Hero's Clothes and a Treasure Map.
2. Take the clothes to another traveler's ship in the northwest section of the sea and give them to the man there. He will give you the Kaleidoscope .
3. Take the Kaleidoscope to the traveler's ship in the southeast section of the sea and give it to the man by a telescope. He will give you the Guard's Notebook .
4. Take the notebook to the traveler's ship in the southwest section of the sea and give it to the man you find there to get the Wood Heart.
5. Take the Wood Heart to the Old Wayfarer's Ship and he will give you the scroll which will allow you to learn Hurricane Spin!



Description: This trick is an easy way to get unlimited rupees.

How to: When sailing the seas you will encounter jellyfish-like creatures once in a while. When you do, the ship should be stopped, however the jellyfish-like creatures will follow the ship even if you do not stop. Shoot them with the cannon. Do not have a cannon? The cheapest cannon for your ship only cost 50 rupees. When the jellyfish are killed, they will drop a green rupee. Since they split apart when shot, you will be able to get several rupees per encounter. Keep sailing your ship around finding more of these creatures for rupees.



Description: A great way to accumulate rupees fairly quickly.
How to: Head to the Dee Ess Isle ( an island on the map suspiciously shaped like a Nintendo DS Lite) once the Goron Game is available. Winning this game is easy once you've done it enough times, and going through the course given in 35 seconds will net you all sorts of goodies. Sometimes, you will get 200 rupees as a reward, which is good enough, but you will also sometimes get items, such as Zora's Scales (which you can sell for 800 rupees), or Coral (which you can sell for a whopping 1,500 rupees). !



Go aboard the ship The Prince of the Red Lion and you will find a character similar to Link. You can fight him if you over and over again. Earning hits on him will gain you new items. For example, getting under 100 hits in the time allotted will gain you an item like a Pearl Necklace or a Princess Crown. More than 100 hits will get you better items like a Heart Container.

Ship Parts -If in the time given you manage to get 200 or more hits, he will give you a ship part.
