| Extra Experience & JP | 96% | |
| Description: You can have your characters attack one another to gain extra experience and JP. During random battles, eliminate all but one member of the enemy party . Leaving that enemy alive, you then have your characters attack one another, healing with Chemist skills and White Magic, until you can no longer survive without killing off your party. Now, go after the final enemy to finish the battle. By doing this, you gain extra experience and JP you wouldn't have gotten in the battle otherwise. This will reduce the amount of random battles you will have to have to build your characters' levels. Chocobo If you have a Chocobo in your party, you will no doubt know that they have Choco Cure, a useful skill that can be used over and over again. Choco Cure restores some of the Chocobo's HP, as well as characters all around it. If you try the cheat above then having a Chocobo in your party to heal characters grouped together each round will allow you to survive the fight even longer, building experience and JP levels even higher. | ||

| Tricking Doom | 96% | |
| Description: Doom can be a pesky spell, since it gives you 3 turns to win the battle before you are automatically killed (even less time if you have the misfortune of having something like Haste cast on you at the same time). If you want some tips on how to stay alive with Doom, try the following: 1) Cast Slow on the character afflicted with Doom. It will slow the Doom Count down. 2) Cast Stop on the character afflicted with Doom. It will temporarily stop the Doom Count. 3) Use Induration (a Mystic Art) to turn the character afflicted with Doom to stone. This "heals" Doom, though the character will be encased in stone until you heal him or her. | ||

| Friendly Fire | 96% | |
| During random battles (not story-driven battles), getting experience and JP are vital to the growth of your characters. Since enemies in random battles can almost always be handled rather easily by your party (as they grow with the strength of your party), you can eliminate all but one member of the enemy party rather easily. Leaving that enemy alive, you should then have your characters attack one another, healing with Chemist skills and White Magic if you can, until you can no longer survive without killing off your party. Now, go after the final enemy and eliminate it to finish the battle. By doing this, you can create experience and JP you wouldn't have gotten in the battle otherwise, lessening the amount of random battles you will have to fight to build your characters' levels. | ||

Now, you can attack and heal your own party to build experience and JP for as long as you want with no threat from the enemies. When you are done, you can then kill the toads for an easy victory. You can actually turn everyone into Toads using your Black Mage (or whomever), killing anyone who can not be turned. Now, use the AI mode to let the battle progress, pressing the Triangle button every often so that the PSP will not fall asleep. When you do this, the Toads will attack and do their functions without you having to participate (like the Lete River in Final Fantasy VI). You can easily get 10 or fifteen levels per character in a single battle. Try it! | ||

| Easier Xp and Bravery/Faith trick | 74% | |
| All of the affore mentioned methods of earning "easy experience" are no doubt good in their own right, however, they all lead to the same ultimate conclusion "You have to end to fight" With my method, you can earn as much Xp and JXP (Job Experience) as you want in a single battle w/o having to kill the final enemy until you "want" to end the fight. I came up with this method while making my way to open up Dark Knight and is as follows: 1.)In your 5 man/woman party, create at least 2 monks, 1 thief, and 1 Orator (the Orator is for another trick I will mention in this as well) and then the Character in which you intend to "develope" 2.)Engage in a random battle and follow any of the other methods or your own to get the enemy down to one unit left. Also, during this time if you can swing it, have your Orator using the Praise ability and Enlighten ability on the character you intend to develope. (*Note* If you are raising a mage type, then use Preach in place of Enlighten) 3.)Get into range of the last enemy unit and have your Thief start using Steal Heart on it. If it is successful, then just continue to follow the unit until it pins itself in a corner (Its inevitable that this will happen trust me lol) and have your remaining units surround it. If you can trap it with two characters this is ideal, having both of your monks trap it in. I usually end up with a 3 way trap myself for the most part seeing as how I always use Mandalia Plain as my "Training Grounds" 4.)Whenever your Theif's turn comes up, keep having him/her use Steal Heart (A unit with at least a 55% chance of success or more is ideal)to keep the unit charmed. 5.)While the enemy is charmed, keep having your monks (if you have had them learn Focus from the Squire Job)use Focus to up their attack power so that when you want to end the battle you can do so in one attack. This also raises the potency of Chakra as well and will better keep your comrades alive in the event the enemy unit comes uncharmed and attacks before you can recharm it. Also, during this time, keep having your Orator use Praise and Enlighten (Preach if you intend to raise a mage type) To raise their Bravery and Lower their Faith (Again, raising Faith if you are a mage type) Until they are at their highest/lowest possible scores) (*note*If you are indeed RAISING faith instead of lowering it, be careful because if you get it too high, that unit will leave your party at the end of the fight.) 6.)Lather, rinse, and repeat step #5 until you have the desired amount of XP/JXP you want. Also, once you have done so, and you have capped out your Bravery and Faith you will notice after the fight is over when you look at the character's stats that they have a permanent increase in Bravery and Decrease in Faith(Raise in faith if you are a mage using Preach) Using the above mentioned technique for your Bravery and Faith (This is primarily for those who wish to make melee type characters) will allow you to follow now into my next "trick" of making so said character nearly invincible...Here's how its done: 1.)Use the above mentioned technique to Raise your bravery and lower your Faith during a battle (Your Bravery to 100 and your Faith to 0) 2.)After every fight, you should be able to see a permanent change in the character's Bravery and Faith stat. Keep doing this until you have your Bravery at 97 (this is as far as the game will allow you to keep it outside of battle) and your Faith at 3 (again this is the lowest the game will let you have this stat outside of battle) 3.)Next take steps to open up the Samurai job and earn enough JXP to buy the Shiradori job ability. Its the one that was called "Blade Grasp" in the Original Playstation version of the game. 4.)Equip Shiradori on the character and send him into battle. When an enemy tries to attack you, you'll notice that they only have a 3% chance of landing the attack no matter what quadrant they attack you from. Also, with your faith being at its lowest possible amount, Mages will not be able to do much damage to you with their spells either. This however is a double-edged sword. The mages may not be able to harm you with their spells, however, you also in return do not receive much benefit from healing spells either. And that's basically it. With Shiradori equipped and a high Bravery, you are practically immune to physical attacks. ( I say "practically" because that are still a select few moves that monsters and such use that will land no matter what.) With a Low Faith, you are practically Immune to spells of any kind as well. (here again, there are a select few that still get through no matter what so keep your eyes peeled on those) With these two strategies in play you are basically a one man wrecking crew and can have that character solo the entire game really for the most part. Hell, you can even repeat the above process for 4 more characters if you want and have a full group of unstoppable juggernauts lol. Well, that's my 2 cents...Hope you all find this little tid bit useful and feel free to let me know how this works out for you or if you are unclear on any of it and Ill be glad to reply. | ||
