X360 Cheat by: Treetrunk
This cheat requires two Xbox Live profiles, so make an additional profile if you do not have one at the ready. Sign into this alternate profile in Guitar Hero III. In the Cheats Menu, enter these codes: (GR) (GY) (YB) (RB) (BO) (YO) (RY) (RB) and then (GR) (B) (GR) (GY) (B) (GY) (RY) (O) (RY) (GY) (Y) (GY) (GR). Those codes are for No Failure and Easy Expert.
Head to Quick Play mode and play "Slow Ride" briefly. After the first handful of notes, you will see a long orange note. At this, press Start and go to the main menu. Sign out of your alternate profile and sign into your primary profile. Head to career mode and go to the boss you want to beat. The boss will glitch out and miss notes, failing the match.

How to unlock: By beating them in the game and then purchasing them

To unlock Hyperspeed, go to the in-game cheat menu (found under Options) and insert the following cheat on your guitar: Orange, Blue, Orange, Yellow, Orange, Blue, Orange, Yellow.

How to unlock: Get 5 stars on each song during Career Mode on Medium difficulty
Description: Unlock the Moon Shot guitar
How to unlock: Complete Career Mode on Easy.

How to unlock: Complete Co-Op Career Mode on any difficulty
Description: Unlock the Neversoft Skateboard
How to unlock: Complete Co-Op Mode on expert with five stars
To make it impossible to fail a song, insert the following code in the in-game cheats menu. Keep in mind that this cheat will not work in Career Mode: Green & Red, Blue, Green & Red, Green & Yellow, Blue, Green & Yellow, Red & Yellow, Orange, Red & Yellow, Green & Yellow, Yellow, Green & Yellow, Green & Red.
Description: Unlock the PendulAxe Bass
How to unlock: Complete Co-op Mode on expert.
To unlock Performance Mode, insert the following notes in the Options menu: Red & Yellow, Red & Blue, Red & Orange, Red & Blue, Red & Yellow, Green & Blue, Red & Yellow, Red & Blue.
