1. Create a copy of your single player desktop shortcut.
2. Right-click on it and select "properties".
3. In the "Target" field, add the following to the very end (outside the quotes): +set sv_cheats 1
4. Click OK.
5. Launch the game using that shortcut.

Once you're in the game, you should be able to use the following cheat codes (hit the "~" key to bring down the console, then type them in):

/god - God Mode
/notarget - Enemies Do Not Attack
/noclip - No Clipping
/give all - All Weapons and Ammo
/give armor - Give Armor
/give health - Give Health
/give stamina - Give Stamina
/give ammo - Give Ammo

/kill - Suicide
/cg_uselessnostalgia 1 - Original Wolfenstein Interface
/give # - Give Item # (See List)




Start the game with the +set sv_cheats 1 command parameter. Now press ~ to get the console. Put in one of the following cheats

/kill - Suicide
/give all - Get all weapons & Ammo
/quit - exit game
/toggle cg_drawtimer - Show time left
/god - invincibility
/notarget - Enemy AI disabled
/noclip - No clipping mode
/cmdhist - See all commands
/serverinfo - see server settings
/reconnect - reconnect to server
/toggle r_fullscreen - Toggles windowed and fullscreen and restarts
/toggle cg_draw2d - Show hud
/cg_FOV [number] - Change field of View
/toggle cg_gibs - Gibs toggled
/toggle cg_drawteamoverlay - Team overlay toggled
/toggle cg_drawcompass - Compass toggle



/g_forcebalance - Even teams forced
/g_gravity [number] - Set gravity to [number]. Lower number is less
/g_speed [number] - Set Speed to [number]. Lowerer is slower
/timelimit [number] - Set timelimit to number
/sv_maxclients [number] - Set max players to [number]
/map restart - Map reset
/kick [playername] - Kicks player
/g_friendlyFire [0 or 1] - Friendly fire toggle

This class of commands affects different displays on the heads up display. Many of these settings can also be changed in the menus.

/toggle cg_drawcompass
Toggles the compass on or off.

/toggle cg_draw2d
Turns the entire Heads Up Display either on or off.

/toggle cg_drawfps
Either shows or hides your frame-per-second in the upper right-hand corner.

/cg_FOV
Changes your field of view. Higher values give you a "fishbowl" effect that some players like, as it gives them better periferal vision.

/toggle cg_drawtimer
Shows the amount of time left on the level. Not too useful, since there's a clock on the screen by default.

/toggle cg_gibs
Toggles whether or not gibs are drawn when sum1 is hit particularly hard.

/toggle cg_drawteamoverlay
Draws or hides the team overlay information that shows health and location of all your teammates.

NOTE: Here's how to add that command line parameters. Right-click on your Eolfenstein single player desktop shortcut and select "properties". In the "Target" field, add the following to the very end (outside the quotes): +set sv_cheats 1


For example:

"C:Program FilesReturn to Castle WolfensteinWolfSP.exe" -set sv_cheats 1

Click OK and launch the game using that shortcut.

Some people have experienced problems activating the cheats as listed above. Here is an alternate to try if the solution above doesn't work. Use notepad to create "user.cfg" file in the "Main" subdirectory of the game. Type just one line: set sv_cheats 1

Also, some people have not been able to use the cheats unless they 1st load a saved game. New players can start, save, then load the save and the cheats should work.

Press ~ to get the console and use /name [name] to set player name and colors


^1: Red
^2: Green
^3: Yellow
^4: Blue
^5: Light Blue
^6: Pink
^7: White
^8: Black
^9: Red

For example, to change your name to "AmericaTheBeautiful" in red, white, and blue, enter:

/name ^1America^7The^4Beautiful.




Some people have not been able to use the cheats unless they 1st load a saved game. New players can start, save, then load the save and the cheats should work.
