| After completing the Story mode in either Hard or Hell difficulty, each of the sixteen dungeons becomes replayable in Normal, Hard, and Hell difficulty. Once they have all been completed in Dungeon Mode (clear them on both Hard and Hell difficulty), a new one becomes available. It is called the Ascetic's Den, and can be reached via the portal or leaving the Public Square. It is located on the north-eastern (top right) corner of the map. BE CAREFUL! It is far harder than any other dungeon in the entire game, having about twenty (yes, 20!) floors of super strong enemies. The plus? The best weapons and items are found here, and you can get weapons such as Marduc's staff and even Minotaur weapons. | ||

Normal mode earns you an NPC costume, hard mode gets you an enemy costume, and hell mode will net you a monster costume. FROM LEFT TO RIGHT: normal reward, hard reward, hell reward. | I had made the mistake of saying that there were about twenty (20) floors in the Ascetic's Den. I've revisisted the place and discovered that the floor number is closer to forty (40). | ||
