| Description: These are the hardest jewels to get hold of - they sometimes appear in the deepest recesses of the jewel cave and occasionally a green butterfly will give you one, but if you are still struggling to collect them the best way is to make perfect accessories and leave them on your shelf in the hope that a minister will buy one. if the minister of summer buys a perfect item (and it can be a basic leaf hair clip it is how well it is made that counts) you may be given a diamond: the minister of autumn sometimes gives a fire opal: winter gives snow quartz and spring a never pearl (the regular pearls sometimes appear in augustus shop so arent quite so hard to get hold of). other fairies that buy a perfect item usually give you a flower as well as medals. harder accessories get more fairy medals as payment - eg a well made iris bracelet can get over 1,000 medals it depends who buys it. | ||

| Description: You never want to give a fairy something they do not like! Sometimes if you talk to them long enough they'll tell you what they do not like or find "weird", "ugly", "garish", etc, and if you talk to them for long enough again they'll tell you what they do like. NEVER talk to a fairy for too long though (no more than 5 times in a row) or they'll get annoyed and you will lose a heart on the friendship grid. VIDIA likes purple/black things, mainly Irises, but she hates Four-Leaf Clovers. BADEN likes Black Feathers, whereas other fairies do not. ROSETTA likes roses. :) ELWOOD likes purple anything - seeds, feathers, shells, light beads: MINISTER OF SPRING likes Daisies. MINISTER OF WINTER likes Poinsettias and hates Red Dewdrops. CHIPPER hates Red Shells. DEWBERRY likes Rubies. IRIDESSA likes Topaz. QUEEN CLARION likes Lilies. SILVERMIST likes Water Liles. QANA likes Snowdrops. | If you spin Tink above an unopened flower bud it will open & give you a prize. Some times it will take you to a level where you have to collect orbs containing prizes. You can sometimes access this level when you wake the multicoloured butterfly that can usually be found in the winter season section. When you play, also keep your eyes out for a white sparkle that is also accompanied by a high pitch ring. Sometimes the ring will be continuous, but other times it will only be heard once as you enter a new field. Place the stylus on Tink & she will glow & the hidden sparkle will be revealed. | The different coloured butterflies give out different items, handy to know if you are looking for something in particular : white butterflies give out threads, black give seeds, blue give dewdrops (and occasionally mermaids voice), green give out shells and gems - the yellowy green ones more often gems and the darker green with black more often shells. Fireflies give out light beads and occasionally last light of the day. Ladybugs give out feathers. None give flowers - you will need to check out the sparkles for those. | ||

| To fill up a fairy's friendship grid, you need to communicate with them a lot. Talk with them a lot and they'll usually tell you the item they DON'T like, and the item they DO like. Give them a present of the item they do like (gift-wrap it from Mariana in the item shop). If you give any fairy a yellowberry, which is the rarest fruit in Pixie Hollow, the friendship grid will fill up faster. They can be won from Fairy Roulette (the darts game in Augustus's shop), and if you type in Queen Clarion's spell (another user submitted it). Also always do their tasks on time and always talk to them. | ||
