If you have The Sims v. 1.1 or the 'klapaucius' code doesn't work, the code to get 1000 Simoleans is:
'rosebud' without the quotes. Type in ';!' w/out quotes as many times after that as you want to get more money, each '!' is worth 1000 simoleans. So, rosebud;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!

is worth 12,000 Simoleans.



Create a moat or lake around your home
type water_tool at the cheat window.



Set IQ or free thinking level
Type autonomy (1-1000)at the cheat window.



Changes the time in the game
Type set_hour <1-24> at the cheat window.

Patched Version.... During game press "Ctrl + Shift + C" and you get 1000 Simoleons, press " !;!;!;!;!;...etc..." to get more money.

If your Sim is unhappy e.g most mood bars red, enter the "move_objects on" cheat simply do this by pressing ctrl+shift+c a window will appear in the top left hand corner of your screen. Type "move_objects on" and press enter. Click on your chosen Sim go to buy mode and delete him/her doing this will produce a red cross on your Sim's head after going to live mode. Click on your Sim and he/she will be happy and all mood bars will be high and dont worry your Sim will keep their job, friends and skills.

If you want the two people living in the house to have an argument, make both of them pick up the phone at the same time, they will argue about who speaks to who. The wife will leave! It's fantastic!


At any poing during the game, press Alt, C, Shift, and Control. The Cheat Box should appear in the upper-left hand corner of the screen. Enter your code, and press Enter when you are finished.


Large second-floor extensions to a house, or even an entire house in the air, can be built totally unsupported by the following method. First, lay out a complete ground layer of pillars. You'll need lots to form a surface to build on. Next build your second-floor home on top of these pillars. It's important that you do ALL the structural work at this point; get all the walls placed and floors put in. Don't forget the stairs! Next, simply switch to the ground floor, and delete all the pillars. The house will remain standing, completely unsupported by anything except thin air.

1000 Sim Dollars
At the Cheat Box, enter klapaucius.


At the Cheat Box, enter draw_all_frames_off.


At the Cheat Box, enter draw_all_frames_on.


Enter the move_objects on code, go to build mode and get the hand, or buy mode. Now move the outside trash can inside. No more wasted time emptying it because it never fills up. Make sure to move it back out side before evicting a family or it will be missing and the prepare lot dosen't return it. by:Tom

Type Klapaucius;!;!;!;! and so on until you cant type it any more. Delete the last semi-colon (;) and replace it with a colon (:) hold down return and 'Sorry no such cheat' will begin to flash keep return held down and watch your money go up


Everytime you login to Cheat Masters and view the contest page you will be awarded 1 point towards winning in the next drawing (Limited to once every 24 hours). By referring people to Cheat Masters you will receive an extra 5 point for each one that creates an account.

First bring up the cheat window, then type in the ''move_objects on'' code. Now, save the game, and when that's done, any time you want to regenerate happy fully-green-bar sims, pause the game, select them and delete them. Now press play, and click on thier heads, and they should pop up somewhere, with all of thier bars fully green. PLEASE NOTE-if you are working on their skills like charisma and whatnot, you MUST save the game BEFORE deleting them! If you do not save the game, they will appear again as if you restarted the game, and thier skills will be lost


In the early stages of The Sims life time is often wasted emptying the trash and bringing it to the curb. I found that if you fill the cheap 30 simolian trash barrel you can order your Sim to empty it and just as they remove the bag cancel the order. Then order them to pick up the mess that they just
made and they will return the full bag to an empty barrel, which will now be empty. Do this every time it fills and trash need never be brought outside to the curb again. This saves a lot of time.

press ctrl + shift + c and type rosebud. Press ctrl + shift + c again and follow this code !;!;!;!;!' You should see a sign that says NO SUCH CHEAT. Click OK then press enter. You should see another sign that says NO SUCH CHEAT then click OK. Keep doing this code to get a lot of money.

type shift-ctrl-alt-c. type in rosebud in box at top-left corner. press enter. then shift-ctrl-alt-c & type move_objects on. then if you get roaches, just delete them and you get money$$$!


Free repair-man for life
Hire a repair man to come to your house an fix a broken applience. Once he has entered your house, build a wall around him and make sure he is trapped for 2 days. After 2 days, he will die and turn into a ghost. And then whenever you have a broken applience, the repair man's ghost will automatically appear and fix it for free.
(Note: This can also be done if the repair man gets electrocuted and dies, while trying to fix an appliance.)

If u want to build a indoor pool all you have to do is when u build your house leave a slit in the wall then build the pool inside after that seel up the wall and u have a indoor pool


At the Start-up screen, click on the ''MAXIS'' symbol in the lower-left hand corner. This will bring up a very odd picture. Click on ''OK'' to close the picture.

At any time in the game if a visitor or family member annoys you get them to go swimming in the pool and take away the steps and they die of hyperphermia or build a wall round them and they die of hunger.


If you type ''tile_information on'' (without quotes) then when you mouse arrow is over a tile, information about that tile pops up. To turn it off, simply replace on with off.


Go to the cheat menu and type in the code for 1000 simoleons (klapaucius, or rosebud for the patched version). Press enter. Go to the cheat menu again, and fill it up with !;!;!;!... etc. When it's full, delete the last ! and put some other character in there instead. Weight down the enter key with something, such as a paperweight or fork. The window will pop up to tell you that there's no such code, but it will still give you 1000 simoleons for every ! still there, and your weight will make the box go away and continue to give you lots of money. Go away, and do something else for awhile. When you return, you'll be filthy stinking rich. Be warned, though. If you do this for too long, your funds will go into the negatives.


If you would like to change the map, type ''map_edit on'' (without quotes) in the cheat window. If you want to turn it off, type ''map_edit off'' in the cheat window.

if you have sims with the patch v1.1 you press crtl + shift + c then type rosebud to get money.


At any time in the game,press Crtl+Shift+C and type in: move_objects on (Note:You must type in exactly what I just showed you)

Simply keep a bill, unpaid, until the mail carrier delivers the next set. When your flag is up (your mailbox being full of-- what else, more bills), pay the first one (i.e., bring it out to the mailbox). When you do this, the newer bills disappear. Using this cheat, you will only have to pay every other bill, instead of every one.


At the Cheat Box, enter grow_grass (1-150).


At the Cheat Box, enter interests.


On the bar on the bottom of the screen, there are the Sim's faces. If you watch their needs when you rapidly click their faces, the needs wont decrease that much. The little red arrow that indicates that the Sim needs that need more will come quickly then leave right away. This works effectively but you cant really do anything while your clicking.

Simply type in; Mover_objects on , Go to build mode and click on the hand. Go to the mail box and place the hand on the mail box and click delete.

when your trash get full all you have to do is go to buy mode and delete the trash can and then buy it back.
