What is a trainer? A trainer is a program written to intercept and alter the memory addresses of games that are running in the background. Usually trainers contain such features as GOD MODE, UNLIMITED LIVES and others. ENEMIES 94%
Description: It wouldn't be a video game if these guys didn't have something to fight. And if the name of the game didn't give it away, these characters will be doing battle with zombies. Now, there are different zombie types in the game that the player has to fight, as well as human enemies. Here they are:

Walker - This type of zombie is slow, and you'll often find it lying on the ground. It can grab you, which will initiate a QTE in which you have to pull on the left trigger and then the right trigger to free yourself.

Infected - These guys can be EXTREMELY dangerous. If the Walker represented the kind of zombies found in the Resident Evil games, then the Infected are definitely representations of the undead in the Dawn of the Dead remake. They can run fast, and they attack viciously and quickly.

Thug - These behemoths are most reminiscent of the Tanks from the Left 4 Dead games. They deal a lot of damage and it takes a ton of effort to kill one of these suckers. The plus side is that they are slow. The downside is that one punch from them will knock you on your ass. Literally.

Suicider - These tortured souls explode in a gooey mess. You just need to walk by them, but be sure to get out of dodge... otherwise they will kill you with a single explosion! If you want XP from their deaths, you have to hit them with a weapon at least once before they blow up.

Ram - Think a Tank in a straight-jacket. And bam, you've got a Ram. These guys mindlessly ram themselves at you like a rhinocerous. They can be killed easy with Fury attacks, but it's probably wise to run by them as they deal a crazy amount of damage.

Floater - Ick. These fatties are virtual clones of the Boomers from Left 4 Dead, except without all of the zombie-attracting puke. Yeah, they still spit bile, but you don't need to go crouch in a corner and swing your gun around like a mad man if they do. They're best avoided, but in situations when they have to be killed, just be sure to avoid their bile, and if you can get behind them, lay into them until you run out of stamina.

Humans - Throughout the course of the game, you will have to fight a variety of human enemies. They have various names based on the gangs they are affiliated with or whatever, but they're all basically the same. They're almost always packing heat, and they are always jerks. They can be killed a lot easier than the zombies, but they have a serious advantage thanks to their firearm skills.

Butcher - These vicious beasts are very dangerous. They have a lot of health, move very fast, and deal a ton of damage. They use the sharpened bones that used to be their arms to deal damage. They MUST be killed when they confront you, otherwise they will just chase you around and stab at you until you die. Kill them. That's the best advice I can possibly give. Give them all you have and then some.

Killing Large Groups of Zombies 93%
How to: When you encounter large groups of zombies or you have run and have a lot of them following, use the following trick to deal with them. Look for a nearby vehicle and sprint to it. Jump on top of it and crouch on the hood. While there, you can still hit the zombies. *** Do not do this on the roof of the vehicle; you will not be able to hit them, and they can still hit you at times. *** Use the analog style of fighting to do more decapitations and swing your weapon faster.

Getting Kills without Dulling Your Weapon 92%
How to: Killing zombies takes a toll on your weapon. However, even when it is on its last legs, it is not completely useless. Throwing your weapons can damage enemies without dulling the weapon. If you have a weapon worth keeping, but it is almost used up, keep throwing it at zombies until you can repair it again.
Was this: (-)Bogus or (+)Helpful

Lost [Easter Egg] 92%
Description: Do the quest to clear out the Lifeguard Tower at the start of the game. Clear the garage of the few zombies there. Go inside and you will hear a radio broadcast of an Oceanic Flight in an emergency descent to an island due to engine failure.

Money 90%
Description: To easily get money, use the following tips. Use the following trick if you want to modify, repair, or create a weapon but are short on money. If the craft table is inside of a store, search the cash register. Occasionally you can find a couple hundred dollars.

Reach the City and have already discovered the Church and the Warehouse. Go to the Warehouse and obtain the hammer and baseball bat. Fast travel to the Church and sell them for about $400. Return to the Warehouse and repeat the process as many times as desired.
Was this: (-)Bogus or (+)Helpful

Killing Humans 89%
Description: This trick works best if you play as Logan. Humans can use weapons, and so can you. However, when it comes down to a gunfight you are both evenly matched. A good way to kill humans with little effort is to throw modded weapons. However, there are a few exceptions. The weapon must be a sharp weapon. Blunt weapons only damage them slightly. The military machete works best. The weapon must have either a Poison mod or a Shock mod. Fire will not do anything. Make sure you upgrade the weapon to at least Level 3. You may want to mod a powerful weapon because it will have minimal affect against stronger humans. Keep your distance when throwing, and have plenty of ammunition. This is one reason why Logan is better for this, because thrown objects can come back to him. However, if you have a clear view of the target, throw the weapon and they will die instantly.

Pimp My Ride [Easter Egg] 88%
Description: Do the quest near the end of the Resort level, where you take the big truck to the mechanic to turn it into a homemade tank or fortress. While talking to him, just before you have to defend the shop while he does his work, he will say that he is going to "Pimp your ride" [Easter Egg].

Description: To make duplicate weapons, throw the weapon that you want to duplicate. Before it hits the ground, press Up. Now, choose to drop the weapon that is equipped. Exit out of the menu and pick up both items. Repeat this as many times as desired. Sell them for easy money.

For example, if you have a "Deathstalker Zed's Demise" worth $7,350 and if Jin is available, empty your inventory save for the sword into storage. Go to the nearest shop. Once there hold L1, then hold Triangle and press R1 to throw not just one weapon but two. Pick up the discarded weapon and repeat the process. Sell all but one of the copies of the weapon for easy money. Doing this can also copy "sticky bomb knives", though occasionally one of the bombs will explode. *** This does not work on grenades, guns, or building materials.

Dead Island: Riptide [ Review ]

When the first Dead Island came out in late 2011, it was quite a sleeper hit. The zombie genre was starting to get pretty tired out, but the quality that came out with this game was refreshing. This was at a time when the survival horror genre really needed a substantial pick-me-up, and Dead Island delivered quite well in this.
