| You must first build 5 lasers to block the enemy path directly below your base. then build 4 special ops and immediately change them to thief. then, build a pulsar to block the path above your base from the right. Then build 2 pulsars on each side of your base creating a trap for torpedoes above your base. Then build 2 lasers spread out on each side of the screen to help with thorium mining. Once you do that, you're out of thorium. Collect some and build more lasers for defense, at least 20 fully upgraded lasers are eventually needed to fend off the enemy. build at least 2 rows of pulsars with traps at the ends. After pulsars, you can build the maze with turrets to save thorium. (the strategy being that your thieves will stay in line longer) You will eventually need a minimum of 8 special ops making thieves to fend off the ground troops effectively. Once you're in position to fend off the enemy indefinitely, you can start building basic ops and upgrade them to drones. you will need about 200 drones. place a waypoint to the righ side of the screen at the top. send your drones then before they get to the waypoint, create a new waypoint on the opposite side at the top. The idea is to bunch up the drones so enough will survive the lasers on the way to the enemy base. This might take you several dozen attempts due to timing the thief deployment properly. Usually when you see the enemy sending their troops, you should send your thieves, depending upon how much of a maze you have built. It took me at least 15 hours (split up between several sessions)to defeat the expert level and I did so with 19 hits left! | ||
