Defeat Lu Bu for the first time. In order to defeat Lu Bu, you need to use special attacks. Normal attacks can hardly damage him. See the gauge on the bottom left of your Health Bar? Just fill that special gauge by hitting enemies around. Once it is filled use your special attacks on him.
