By simply making a team of 3 Wolverines, you can unlock both the "Avengers Assemble" and "Uncanny Hero" Achievements in just one playthrough. Wolvie counts both as an X-Man and an Avenger.
Go into Local Multiplayer and choose three B.B. Hood's for yourself and three Amingo's for your opponent. Build up both team's meter by doing repeated Heavy Kicks, having both go up to 3 or more. Using the 2nd controller activate Amingo's triple Hyper shooting up all of them into giant, easily targeted, stalks. Then using your controller activate B.B. Hood's triple Hyper combo easily getting a 300+ combo.
Assist characters cannot block at all when they are in play, which means you can juggle them infinitely until they die by simply using your fighter’s launcher attack over and over. This is especially useful after you’ve KOd an opponent and his assist is left on the screen.
Activate Juggernaut’s Power Up and then tag him out before executing any attacks. If you do it properly, the Power Up effect will never wear off so Juggernaut is permanently much stronger.
During most hyper combos, you can mash all of the attack buttons to increase the amount of damage from the combo.
On the Versus loading screen that shows your team against the opponent’s, hold down one of the assist buttons to switch a fighter to the first position in your team. Once the fight has loaded, but before the fighting begins, hold down the attack button that you want to execute as soon the match starts. The very moment the match starts, the attack button you hold will come out without having to time the button press.
You can move very quickly across the screen if you string together a series of dashes. To string dashes, you need to dash, cancel the dash by tapping DOWN, and then dash again. This is easiest if you use the PP shortcut (both punch buttons together) to dash instead of trying to double-tap RIGHT.

Game Info

A downloadable edition or the classic fighter, Marvel VS Capcom 2 pits some of Capcom's familiar faces against a host of Marvel Comic's biggest names in explosive three-on-three team battles. The game features the biggest roster of challengers to ever square off in a Capcom fighting game, a total of 56 combined brawlers from both the Capcom and Marvel universes. Players can mix and match from both worlds in order to create their own ideal three man/woman/robot/monster team-up.
