| I have found that in time of crisis (I.E. Tank) it helps to hit the Tank with a bile jar. It won't stop the tank, but with all the commons in his way it will slow him down (Usually enough to get away if your health is low.) The achievement is also good. Besides that it just makes him mad. | ||

| Description: In part 2 of Dark Carnival you will come across a well-lit shooting range with carnival mascot Moustachio emblazoned on it. Also note the yard gnome in the box -- your prize for getting 750 points. Get this high score by activating the game (via the red button) and shooting everyone but the blue peanut (you will lose points if you hit this target!). Hit the yellow and green Moustachio target for extra points. The gnome (which you may recognize from Half-Life 2 Episode 2) will be released if you get a high score and so will scores of infected, so beware!. Carry the gnome all the way to the end of the scenario (board the chopper) to unlock the Guardin' Gnome Achievement. You can drop Gnome Chompsky and pick it back up. | The following items are not melee weapons. but are in the game: Baseball bat Swiss Knife Chainsaw Yeah I said chainsaw. its not a melee weapon. when I was getting club dead I used all 3 of these and it didnt add them on. Charger ledge: You probably all know this but on the first level of dead center when the survivors go on the ledge, charging them off the ledge kills instantly. and if you hit several survivors you can knock 2 or 3 off. this also works with the cliff on dark carnival part one and the top of the sugar mill in hard rain 2-3 and parts of the parish bridge finale Skip the ledge To skip the ledge in dead center you must crouch right at the edge of it. hold A while still crouching and move slowly over the edge. when you fall, move in the direction of the ledge below and you should land on it (this really works ive done it at least 10 times..................failed twice... not a pleasant way to go Bridge over trebled slaughter For this you will need a chainsaw or katana, an autoshotgun or M-16, a bile bomb or pipe bomb, and adrenaline. lower the bridge. the timer starts as soon as the metal thing drops. you might want to have a stop watch or something. keep running until you get past the second blue marquee. this is when the zombies start coming and you should throw your bile/pipe bomb as far ahead as you can without it going in the water. then run down the side of the bridge dodging every hole you can. if you pass more adrenaline take yours and grab it and keep running. if you can pick up another bile/pipe bomb without wasting more than 2 seconds do it. dont go through the scaffolding and take adrenaline as soon as you here the tank music. get up the back of the tanker and dont engage with the tank. watch out for smokers, hunters, jockeys and chargers and keep running. when you reach the helipad the bots wont even be at the end of the bridge so change the difficulty to expert, wait in the helicopter to die and dont let anything in the helicopter. when the bots go down 85% chance that you'll get this achievement depending on how many encounters with infected you get or anything else that slows you down. No zombies in DC finale in 2 player offline or online co-op incap the other 2 bots DO NOT KILL. THIS WILL RUIN THE WHOLE THING. only at least one of them can die before you reach the floor. when the elevator gets to the bottom if at least 1 bot is down but alive the wooden prism thing near the door will have a blue outline. go around getting all the gas cans but dont fill up the tank. put them close to the car and the horde will start when you press X on the wooden thing. get your friend to start the horde and take adrenaline and start to fill up the car while he/she covers you. (important note: if you put even one gas can in the car before starting the horde you will not be able to escape) this is useful for expert. but the occasional small horde or a jockey might show up every 5 mins. | ||

Locate the next Tank, either above or below where you are standing, and run by it. If it is on top of the bleachers run underneath. If it is below you just run up high and get aboard. | ||
