Street Fighter x Mega Man: Version 2 [ Review ]
We’ve seen Mega Man, also known as Rockman in Japan, and Street Fighter’s universe collide in the now classic Marvel vs. Capcom series of games. Now, it’s time for Street Fighter to visit the Mega Man universe, and Street Fighter x Mega Man is the ultimate result. An amalgamation of two franchises that have stood the test of time, fans of both genres would be able to appreciate the love and dedication that it took to create this crossover platform game.
Street Fighter x Mega Man came to light as an independent work that was eventually backed up by Capcom, the [...More

Wanna see if the "Let's take it outside" theme is really that outside? Well what are you waiting for? Jump in!

Street Fighter vs Mega Man [ Review ]
Capcom has had a legacy in its two most popular game franchises, Street Fighter and Mega Man. Nowadays, Street Fighter has had a revival with Super Street Fighter IV, which celebrated its 25th anniversary with a sponsored worldwide tournament. As for Mega Man, there hasn't been a major release for years now and the last few ones had been lackluster. The lastest one, Mega Man 9, was more of a throwback to the old school days for the franchise. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of both these franchises, Capcom has combined both into a single free title called Street Fighter [...More
New Super Mario Bros. 2 [ Review ]
Mario has been Nintendo’s mascot and trusty cash cow since virtually his introduction. With games and merchandise in the dozens, Nintendo has been milking the Mario franchise for all its worth, and with fan reactions being as it was – and in fact gaining new fans with each release – this approach does not show any signs of slowing down.
Mario and its beloved cast of characters have also been around the block in its several decades of existence, whether it be in racing, playing tennis, or fooling around with each other in a variety of quirky party games. [...More
Mad Catz' Street Fighter X Tekken Arcade FightStick V.S. [ Review ]
I recently acquired an official Mad Catz’ Street Fighter X Tekken Arcade FightStick V.S. edition for Xbox 360. I’ve played the hell out of it, and now I’m here to bring you my final results, along with a grand review.
I’ve always been a fan of the Street Fighter series. I once played an official Capcom USA Street Fighter arcade machine. I only played it once, but I fell in love. That brought me to frequently play my local arcade’s Street Fighter II arcade machine. She was a beauty. It had a six-button layout and an 8-way directional stick. [...More

LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes [ Preview ]
I've had a love/hate relationship with the LEGO games. I found the original LEGO Star Wars a blast, the second one a disappointment, and I thought the Indiana Jones games were just okay. Harry Potter's attempt at a LEGO game bored the hell out of me, and so, it's really been all over the place. Nevertheless, I've played the demo for LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes on the Nintendo 3DS, and I just have to say that I came away impressed and excited to get my hands on this game in the coming weeks.
The demo begins by throwing you [...More
Street Fighter X Tekken [ Review ]
Two game series that have redefined the fighting game genre forever have joined forces to produce a mindbogglingly spectacular proposition. In one corner comes Street Fighter, the number one 2D fighting game in the world; from the other, Namco’s Tekken, which has dominated the 3D fighting game market. See these two heavyweights collide in one spectacular game as Capcom and Namco brings you Street Fighter X Tekken.
The game (pronounced as Street Fighter Cross Tekken) takes beloved characters from both franchises and had them fighting both alongside and against each other in a traditional tag team fighting style of play. [...More

Street Fighter IV: Volt (iOS) [ Review ]
The original Street Fighter IV for the iOS was first seen as a novel idea more than a game with excellent potential, which is what Capcom must have started to realize once the demand for additional characters and online multiplayer came in from all over. SF4 does have the potential in the mobile market due to simple controls, fairly balanced gameplay, and a die-hard international community of players and fans, so it's about time that Street Fighter IV: Volt came out for the iOS.
The first game had polish that was not common with iOS games. The only problem with it [...More
E3 Street Fighter X Tekken Floor Demo
Alright fight fans, the fighting game genre has had quite the renaissance in the last year and a half and the momentum will continue when Street Fighter X Tekken hits on the PS3 and Xbox 360. People could not get enough of this game at E3 as it was set up all over at both the Microsoft and Sony booths and of course the Capcom booth. Check out [...More
Star Wars Pinball [ Review ]
Star Wars and pinball may seem like an odd combination, but it certainly works with Zen Pinball’s Star Wars DLC. Parlor games have evolved so much in the past years, and Zen Studios was able to properly integrate the enthralling special effects and amazing fight scenes within the George Lucas and Steven Spielberg classic series of films. The Star Wars dual trilogy has impacted two whole generations of viewers, and while these films have influenced video games of many varying genres, it would probably be the first time that the Force is displayed so vehemently in a pinball game.

Super Smash Bros. 4 Wishlist
Super Smash Bros. started on the Nintendo 64 and was an instant hit. It was a brilliant move to take some of the most famous and popular Nintendo characters and throw them into a fighting game together. Smash Bros. became a system seller, and would prove this fact when millions of gamers went out and bought a GameCube for the sequel, Super Smash Bros. Melee, and for the third game in the series, Super Smash Bros. Brawl on the Nintendo Wii.
We get a new Smash Bros. game every generation, with only one game released for each system. [...More
E3 2012 Report Card: Nintendo (New Super Mario Bros. and Mass Effect!)
Pikmin are all around us
Who is the most important person at Nintendo? Shigeru Miyamoto. Not only is he the mind behind gaming's greatest franchises such as Super Mario and Zelda, but Shigeru Miyamoto is one of the key people responsible saving the industry from the video game crash of 1983. Miyamoto is a bonafide video gaming legend. Starting their show with him was probably the best way to go about it. It got the crowd excited, it got me excited (...), and it got all the Nintendo fans frothing out the mouth, for sure.
The video in question showed Mr. [...More
Street Wrestler (iOS) [ Review ]
Professional wrestling features a world full of colorful characters with bulging muscles and in-ring skills that defy logic. Many would point out its scripted and fixed nature, but fans already know that. One of the sub-categories of pro wrestling is Lucha Libre, the style of Mexico where high-flying attacks and acrobatic maneuvers performed by masked wrestlers are preferred. There have been a few games released that have featured this theme, and here's a new one called Street Wrestler for the iOS.
At face value, this does look like a clone of Lucha Fury from the Xbox Live Arcade. [...More

Super Mario 3D Land Walkthrough [ Guide ]
The classic Mario games of old have one ultimate objective, and that is grabbing the flagpole at the finish line before running out of time. Super Mario 3D Land is no different. In fact, Shigeru Miyamoto, the game’s designer, stated that this 3D version plays more like its 2D predecessor. Zen Pinball (iOS) [ Review ]
Back in the 80's, playing video games at home was kind of alright with the Atari, but the true gaming experience relied solely on the arcade. Being able to go into an arcade and drop a token in a machine as you do your best to get the highest score was quite something. The classic pinball machine wasn't even a video game to begin with, but it was quite the gaming experience. Now in this current era of advanced gaming systems, developers are trying to adapt old school games into new platforms. Zen Pinball for the iOS is one of [...More
Super Mario 3D Land [ Review ]
This year, the Mario series entered into a phase of its evolution wherein its 2D and 3D worlds were bolted into one gigantic adventure with Super Mario 3D Land on the 3DS. Players now have the chance to transfer from pseudo-3D level interactions to 2D side-scrolling. Although it might not introduce its fanatics to a truly authentic 2D/3D combination, Super Mario 3D Land is a fresh and gripping experience that arrives in fine form.
More players are still at a loss if the marriage is possible, but Nintendo has made it clear and have shown that this clever concept is possible. [...More
Super Cyclone (iOS) [ Review ]
Whenever another twin stick shooter comes to the App Store, customers might either sigh in exasperation or just feel a bit excited since twin stick shooters are always exciting in gameplay. This game called Super Cyclone is another addition to the genre, and it does have a few things that make it a bit unique. You don't just fly around in empty space and shoot at whatever that moves; you storm your enemies in a good sense.
The aim of the game is to defend the stargate from waves of enemy ships until the level is finished. You'll find nests where [...More
Captain America: Super Soldier [ Review ]
I'll be honest; I've been on kind of a comic book kick lately. With multi-million dollar blockbusters based on superhero franchises released every summer, breaking records at the box office in the process, it seems that I'm not alone in that regard. Films like X-Men and Spider-Man popularized the sudden resurgence of comic books being very prevalent and relevant in today's pop culture, and films like Iron Man and The Dark Knight have only solidified the legacy of America's favorite heroes on the silver screen. And with every superhero film, there needs to be a companion game, so says Sega.

Marvel is the master of the superhero movie. The genre was considered long-dead
after a multitude of flops in the 90s, but with the highly successful films
like X-Men and Spider-Man, Marvel managed to make superheroes relevant again in
today's film industry. They are currently planning a massive Avengers film, and
as a result, they have started building the team by giving them their own
films so the audience can become acquainted with the characters. Iron Man,
Thor, and The Incredible Hulk have all made it to the big screen. Captain
America is the latest Marvel hero [...More
Mario Super Sluggers: The Basics [ Guide ]
In Mario Super Sluggers, you can utilize four basic pitches. It is essential for a player to have more than one type of pitch to be unpredictable against the opponent. It starts with the Normal Pitch wherein the ball is thrown quickly without charging. In the Charge Pitch, you have to first pull back before throwing the ball when the two circles overlap. The third option is the Star Pitch, which is done by holding A+B as you are pitching, while the Changeup can be performed by holding A whilst pitching.
You must learn to employ deception by conditioning your opponent [...More
Half-Minute Hero: Super Mega New Climax [ Review ]
About two years ago in Japan, you would be looked at with surprise if you were playing Half-Minute Hero instead of Monster Hunter. The former is an unusual RPG game on PSP that has, what at first looks like, a primitive 8-bit art style; the latter is a hugely popular gaming franchise in Japan. Yet the quirky and original concept of Half-Minute Hero was a big hit in Japan, and the game has since gained a cult following outside the ‘Land of the Rising Sun’. Now, Half-Minute Hero is back and in high definition on the Xbox 360. [...More

Virtua Tennis 4 - Super Shot Tips [ Guide ]
Playing to your character's strength is the best technique to fill up the Super Shot meter in Virtua Tennis 4. For instance, if you are Andy Murray, the backhand would be your best shot. File up as many backhand shots as you can to fill up the meter in the soonest possible time. Remember that all players in the game have their own inherent strength. Look for ways on how to play as them by exploring and experimenting on your moves. However, do not depend on their strength all the time. Your opponent will easily notice what you are doing. [...More
