| When you acquire a new shop or asset, one of the first missions you can get from them is find a mascot for their store. A mascot is a creature from the island that comes to the store, by completing this job you can achieve more fame for your store. In order to find a mascot you first must accept the job from the store. Each store has one specific mascot. On the job request there will be a description of where to find your mascot, for example if the slip says "find a mascot in a lonely area" you will find the mascot in the ice forest. To find the mascot you have to go to that spot repeatedly until it reveals itself to you. Sometimes you will have to bring them something, and other times you will just need to talk with them and then you will need to go to that store and report the job as finished. After you have reported the job as finished the mascot will appear. One of the big bonuses of having a mascot is that it will gather materials from the area you found it in. It will give you a list of materials and ask you if you want it to gather those, the nice part is that you can choose which ones you want before sending it out to collect them. It will take 10 days to collect them but in that time you can accept some jobs from the store and then return 10 days later and report the completed jobs and pick up some materials while you are there. | ||

| The first assignment is very simple. In fact you are walked through it completely. You will use your cauldron to make a sign for your shop. After you have completed it, Hans will take it and have it graded. That is the end of the assignment. | ||

| The game ends after three years wheather or not you have completed any of the missions. After the three years are up and the game ends the game starts all over again and a little star appears next to your saved game acknowledging you completed the game. The nice things about this is that since you already know how things work you can choose to fast forward through tutorials. Another added benefit of completing the game is that your cash, alchemy made items, and alchemy materials from the previous game will be transfered over. Unfortunately you will need to buy your recipes all over again from the library along with all of your shops. The fact that you can transfer your cash and alchemy items over though means you can easily buy the recipes back and complete missions a lot faster. | ||

| Assignment 3: Turn in Red Knight's Spears | 67% | |
| Buy 10 Knight's Spears from the weapon shop and use red supplements to do a special synthesis and turn them into Red Knight's Spears. Go to the Committee Headquarters and give them to Hans. Remember, the sooner you complete the assignments the higher the grade you will recieve for them. (to make red supplements buy the recipe from the Library in town and use gathered materials to create them) | ||

| Your second assignment given will be to make an island map. You will need to gather woodchips, pure water, and magical weed from the Basin. After you make the map, go to the committee Headquarters and give Hans the map. The faster you complete these assignments the higher the grade you will recieve. | ||

| Assignment 5: Go Fight the Monster at the Basin + Turn in the weapon too | 56% | |
| You need to go to Amalie and ask for her advice on what weapon to use. She will demand you go and get for her a Crystal Skull by killing a monster with rocks for eyes (Rock spirit). You should first make about 20 Prize Blitz (item that turns monsters into items). Then go to either the Fruitful Woods or the Ice Forest and find a Rock Spirit to use the Prize Blitz on. It may not work the first time you try it out on the Rock Spirit in battle but it should work the second time. Keep walking around and finding Rock Spirits to fight until finally you turn a Rock Spirit into a Crystal Skull. Then go to Amalie and she will tell you that you need a Blue Warhammer, to easily defeat the Earth Element at the Basin (you will not be able to fight it until you give her the skull. Amalie will give you a free Warhammer for your trouble so all you need to do is dye it Blue using the special synthesis at your workshop and give it to Annie or someone else who can use it (you don't NEED the hammer to kill the element but it will make it really easy, you do need to turn in the Blue Warhammer to Hans after you kill it to get a Gold ranking for the assignment other wise the best grade you can hope to have is a Silver ranking.) While you are in the workshop make at least 3 or 4 exploding Barrels to use on the Earth Element's minions. After you have killed the Earth Element, go to Hans and give him the Blue Warhammer. The quicker you complete assignments the better the grade you get for assignment. | ||

| Assignment 6: Make a Contest Monument | 56% | |
| Build a contest monument. make two of them for extra points. Ingredients needed are an Azuro (gem), silk, and a glass sphere. (2 Azuro, 2 silk, and 2 glass sphere if you want the extra points. the recipe is given to you buy Hans. Have these materials ready before he gives you the assignment so you can make them as soon as possible and get extra points. | ||
