Ah, the 1980's. It was a strange time but a great time for horror movies. Perhaps only in this era could a game like Splatterhouse have been made. The original Splatterhouse was a brawler released in arcades and later on consoles such as the TurboGrafx-16 (PC Engine in Japan). Now, years later the franchise is getting a remake based on the original game. Gameplay looks to be an interesting combination of 2D-style and 3D with a variety of weapons and powers.
