Joining the Dark Brotherhood	98%
Description: After making your way to Riverwood, speak to the bartender inside the inn. Ask him if he has heard any rumors. He will eventually tell you about a boy that is trying to summon the Dark Brotherhood. Follow the subquest to Windhelm. When entering Windhelm, make an immediate right and travel up the path until you encounter a Dark Elf and child talking. Enter the door to their left and find the child inside. He will ask you to kill Grinelda The Kind in Riften. Go to Riften, enter the orphanage, and murder Grinelda. Fast Travel back to Windhelm and speak to the child again to get your reward. Next, go outside of the city and wait for 24 hours. A courier will approach and give you a note with a black handprint on it, with the words "We Know." Go to the nearest inn, rent a room, and sleep for 24 hours. When you awake you will have been kidnapped by one of the Dark Brotherhood. They will tell you that if you kill 1 of the other 3 people in the room they will release you. Choose a person and kill them. Speak to the Dark Brotherhood again and they will tell you to meet them at their lair in the pine forest in the far southwest corner of Skyrim. Fast Travel to the western watchtower outside of Whiterun then travel west towards the marker. When you reach the door, answer the question asked with "Silence, My Brother" to enter the sanctuary. Speak to the 1st person you find inside the lair, and you are now part of the Dark Brotherhood.

Description: To get gold easily, at the beginning of the game, when you reach to the 1st town of Riverwood start chopping wood and find the man named Hod. He usually stands at the top of the sawmill during the day. He will pay you for "all the wood you can carry" as he puts it. However, there is no limit to how much you can make buy chopping wood and selling it to him. He never runs out of gold like the merchants. Chop and sell wood to him until you have as much gold as desired.

Description: Set the difficulty to "Novice" and have a weak one-handed attack enemy hit you while healing. This will level the armor you are wearing, restoration, also may level up illusion.

Easy Conjuration experience	98%
Description: To do this, it is best to have the Bound Sword spell, because you are able to conjure two of these at the same time to gain experience faster. This works best when there is an enemy that is trying to fight you, but you are at an area that they cannot reach you (for example, fighting a troll or bear while you are too high for them to actually hit you). Use the Bound Sword spell, put the sword(s) away, then repeat the process. Doing this will increase your conjuration levels very quickly. This trick requires dragons roaming around and being far enough in the Dark Brotherhood to have Shadowmere. When you find where a dragon is located, Fast Travel there so Shadowmere can be with you. Start the battle with the dragon. Do not worry when the dragon goes after Shadowmere, as Shadowmere is invincible and will fight and eventually will kill the dragon for you. Use the Bound Swords spell as described above and it will have the same outcome.

Easy Smithing experience	98%
Description: This process will require a bit of coinage, and the more money you have the better. Once you have a vast fortune, go to every town and visit each blacksmith. Buy all their Iron Ignots and Leather. Once you visit the last blacksmith, turn your leather into Leather Strips and make Iron Daggers at the forge. Continuously make Iron Daggers and your Blacksmithing will eventually reach 100. You can also try the dagger process with steel, but iron is cheaper. If you do not want to waste more money on iron, just make Leather Bracers. It is a slower process, but is still effective. With about 5,000 gold, start in Whiterun and buy all of the Leather Strips and Iron Ingots from both blacksmiths (the one at the entrance and one at Skyforge if joined the companions). Forge Iron Daggers until you run out of materials. Fast Travel to Solitude (or Carriage Ride if not discovered) and do the same thing there with the Solitude blacksmith. Fast Travel back to Whiterun and both blacksmiths will have replenished their supplies of Iron Ingots and Leather Strips. With about 5,000 gold and selling the daggers, you can upgrade Smithing from level 26 to level 100 in about 1 or 2 hours and have full dragon gear. You do not have to worry about not increasing your other stats, as you can just save perks and use them whenever.

The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion [Easter Egg]	98%
Description: Search inside the museum of Dawnstar to find a display case containing a yellowing piece of paper with the symbol for Oblivion. Pick the lock and use a spell for a few seconds on the paper to turn it into a bucket.

Duplicating Books	98%
How to: This trick requires that you own a house with an alchemy lab. Activate the bookshelf and place the desired book on it. Leave the menu and immediately activate the bookshelf again. If your book has not yet physically appeared on the shelf, wait at the menu screen where you can loot the bookshelf. Once you see the book in front of you (it will hover in front of the shelf while the menu is open), loot the book from the shelf in the menu. Immediately close the menu, and you can click on the book itself to read and then take it. You have effectively looted the book twice, putting two of them in your inventory. This trick can be repeated as many times as desired, and is especially useful with expensive books such as the Oghma Infinium.

Become a werewolf	98%
How to: Go to the city of Whiterun. Move through the town until you reach Dragonsreach, which is the castle. While standing on the steps looking at the doors to Dragonsreach, look to your right. There should be a building that resembles a ship's hull. This is where the Companions are located. Go and join them. After a few quests you are given the chance to become a werewolf. To use your new ability, go to "Magic", then "Powers", then "Beast Form". Beast Form can be used once a day. You will turn into a werewolf and friendly humans will attack you. You will have increased speed, health, damage, and stamina. You cannot pick up objects. If you kill a human you can "Feed" on the corpse to regain some health and extend the duration of Beast Form. This is also useful for traveling great distances on foot. When the werewolf sprints, it runs on all fours, and moves much faster than a horse. The werewolf's stamina also regenerates very quickly.

Unlimited steel arrows	98%
Description: Upon becoming a full member of the Thieves Guild, the other recruits train often. There is a recruit named Niruin. He can give you training in archery and often wastes his arrows on a target dummy with his infinite arrows. You can continually pick up the steel arrows and either use them for yourself, or sell a mass quantity of them.

Sneak Experience	98%
Description: At the beginning in Helgen's Keep, you will encounter a sleeping bear. Your guide states that you can either sneak past it or kill it. Just off to the left of where your guide stops is a small rock pile. Go to the back side of it, and you can sneak in the crevice there and remain hidden from the bear. Keep sneaking at the rock and your skill will increase. You can do this for as desired, because the bear only moves if it detects you. To make sure you are in a good location, sneak for a short time, then check your Sneak skill to see if it is rising. If not, move slightly closer to the bear and keep trying. * This trick will also help you gain weapon experience. While doing the Molag Bal quest, and after you save the priest, go to the shrine. When he gets trapped in the cage, crouch behind him and hit him with the weapon of your choice. * Spells may also work too. He will heal quite fast, and he is invincible until he submits and you are forced to kill him for the Daedric lord. * Using spells will turn it into a real fight and your follower may become aggressive. However, it can still raise your Destruction level. * This trick will also help you gain one-handed weapon experience. When you reach the part in the tutorial where you choose to enter the keep with either Hadvar or Ralof, choose Hadvar. When you are told to take the armor from the chest, do not. Instead, take 1 of the swords hanging from the wall and sneak up behind Hadvar, who should be facing the gate blocking your way. While in sneak mode and undetected, hit him with your sword. This should grant a 3x bonus to your damage as it is a sneak attack, and will add a great deal to your sneaking skill. Walk away, then creep back up on him to perform another attack. After reaching about level 30 in Sneak, you can simply remain crouched behind him and hit him about every 7 seconds for a sneak attack bonus. In a relatively short time you can maximize your Sneak skill, while also increasing your one-handed weapon skill. To raise your one-handed weapon skill faster, stand behind him while not in sneak mode and constantly bash him. When his health runs out and he falls to the floor, allow him to stand up before hitting him again. You could, after maxing both sneak and one handed, exit the tutorial near level 40. *** Wait until your armor and weapons are of a higher grade before entering the level up menu or the enemies will be much tougher than you.

Description: If you are over encumbered and are far away from a city, the fastest way to move is through the Whirlwind Sprint Shout. It can be used continuously and will get you to the nearest city quickly so you can sell. This also works when exiting caves and dungeons.

Three Man Team	98%
Description: Use the following trick to get a 3-person team with a 5-person squad. Have your main character ask Brelyan Maryon to join you (after doing her side quest). Give her the staff of conjure flame Atronach. Next, do the "Taste Of Death" quest and convince Verulus to follow. You should now have a total of 3 characters. When in combat, summon your familiar and have Maryon summon hers. There are now 5 of you in battle. This makes the game easier when doing almost all side quests. In some side quests other characters will also join you, increasing your squad. *** If you complete Mercer Frey's "Scoundrel's Folly" quest, he asks you to join him in another quest. When you accept it you will now have 4 members in your team. You can travel to do quests with all 4 members, and when in battle your squad increases to 7 with conjuration abilities.

Description: When the Blades ask you to kill Parthanax, approach him to check if he is on the stone wall perfectly. Attack him with any weapon (destruction magic also works) you wish to increase. If he dies, restart and try again. If done correctly, he will just take the hits then fly up and back down. He never dies and you will not get any bounties for attacking him.

The World Eaters Eyrie - Locked door	96%
At the end of a path is a Draugr Overlord, who needs to be slain. Once you have debt with him like other cheat masters ) you need to loot him for his DIAMON CLAW. There is a locked door that you need to use the claw on, but first make sure the rings are in this order: - TOP RING: WOLF - MIDDLE RING: MOTH - BOTTOM RING: DRAGON Use the skull once they are in that order and continue onwards... Just off to the left of where your guide stops is a small rock pile. Go to the back side of it, and you can sneak in the crevice there and remain hidden from the bear. Keep sneaking at the rock and your skill will increase. You can do this for as desired, because the bear only moves if it detects you. To make sure you are in a good location, sneak for a short time, then check your Sneak skill to see if it is rising. If not, move slightly closer to the bear and keep trying. * This trick will also help you gain weapon experience. While doing the Molag Bal quest, and after you save the priest, go to the shrine. When he gets trapped in the cage, crouch behind him and hit him with the weapon of your choice. * Spells may also work too. The first thing to know about this quest is you can be any level. To get started, you need to go to the Shrine of Azura, which is the montain directly South East of winterhold. When you get there there should be a statue of Azura, next to it is a mage standing next to a table, walk up the stairs and talk to the mage. Keep talking to him till he gives you a quest called the The Black Star. Go retrive the Broken Azura Star. When you have retrived it go back to the statue and follow the mages orders. He will place it on the table and you will talk to Azura through the star. At the end of talking, she will ask you to enter a portal through the star, do that when you enter, you will have to kill a guy and take his soul (Buy spell from mage in DragonsReach in WhiteRun). He will send his minions to kill you. (they use the spell Firebolt) When you get past them to reach him you have to use Soul Trap to capture is soul. When you have his soul Azura will rise you from the real and thank you for what you have done. When she is done talking she will give you the Black Star to keep. THEN YOU ARE DONE! Easy/Fast Xp Early in Helgen	100%
In the beginning of the game in Helgen. You can either go with Rolof or Hadvar to do this. Once you get into Helgen keep grab the iron sword and start hitting Hadvar to level up the one-handed skill, and crouch behind him, and hit him every six seconds to raise sneak skill. This can also be done before you move through the gate with Rolof. You can also level up your destruction level because you get the fire magujc in the beginning as well. Later on in Helgen keep you pick up a two-handed iron greatsword, or a iron battle axe. Once you get up to the part with the bear dont crouch or your partner will continue. You csm now hit them with the two-handed axe or sword to level up you two-handed skill. If you level up the one-handed, two-handed, sneak, and destruction skills to 100 you should be at level 37 to start the game, with 37 perk points for skills. This also helps get better weapons, and armor early on. I got the option to buy elven and dwarf armor early on in the game. Good Luck.

Go to all blacksmiths and buy all iron ingots and leather strips then go to forge and make iron dagger over and over then you shal level up very fast the earlier you do this the better also then you can make dragon armour hope this helped :)

Easy Archery Skill Points, Experience, and an Early Follower	67%
When you first get to Riverwood, talk to Faelden to get a miscellaneous quest (wherein you must deliver a letter to Camilla under the pretense that it was written by Sven). Once you have completed this laughably easy task, Faelden will follow you around if you ask him to. He makes a great follower early on in the game for any type of player, as he can perform very decent melee and ranged attacks (if you give him a melee weapon, a bow, and PLENTY of arrows). Once Faelden is your follower, you can access his inventory. Since he's also a "Common" level trainer of the Archery skill, you can train with him in that skill up to five times per level. Here's the rub, though: once you train with him, you can just go into his inventory (ask to trade items with him) and take your gold back. Then you can train again. He can get you up to level 49 in Archery. This was tested on a PS3 system with the release-day patch from PSN (but no later patches).

=========( Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim)=======( Leveling Guide )=======( November/December 2011 )========= This guide focuses primarily on leveling up, although it occasionally will cross into other areas of the game. I wrote it as I am playing my first character, about level 70 now. There are still many things I will learn later, and a few areas in my guide aren't fully complete because I have not yet learned really good strategies. The things I write about come from the perspective of a smashmouth combat warrior, but if you play stealth or caster characters similar tactics can apply. The mechanics of the Skyrim game are much the same as the previous two games. You gain levels as your skills increase, and the only way to get skill increases to to use the skill.. a whole lot! But, there are several notable differences in this game. In the last game (Oblivion) you chose a total of 15 primary skills from a much larger list at character creation. You would only make progress toward leveling when you increased these primary skills. It always took 10 increases to gain a level. The secondary skills would not progress your level but still improved your character abilities in those skills. It made it easy to see what your max level would be by getting to 100 skill in each of your 15 primary skills. You also learned quickly that some skills were much harder to raise and therefore didn't choose those skills at character creation. You also learned to pick skills somewhat evenly between the 3 general categories, and to level up skills the same way to get maximum stats from each level. This made the level-up system somewhat cumbersome because when you didn't skill up this way it was possible to seriously hurt your character abilities. In this game (Skyrim) every character has the same 18 skills starting the game, and you progress your level by increasing the 18 skills in any combination. It takes more increases to gain another level as you progress upward in levels. Many skills are familiar. Many skills were dropped such as swimming, safefall, and hand-to- hand. All 1-hand weapons were combined into a single skill. Some new crafting skills were added. But it really doesn't matter what skills are here now, because if you wish to achieve maximum level in the game you must max all 18 skills to 100 value. The starting value for each of your skills is varied somewhat depending on the class type you choose to play, but it is not important enough to let this change your preferred playstyle. This game took away the ability for you to make many bad choices without knowing at character creation, which I think is probably for the best. Although I do not care for being stuck with the skills I must raise now, as there are some that aren't really fun to raise. An important note to consider before reading on... The goal of leveling up is a powerful incentive to continue playing the game. But, what might happen to you once you have achieved maximum level? Will you maybe begin to want to stop playing sooner once you do it? What reasons might you have to continue playing? There will still be many things to do for a long time. I do worry about this happening to me becasue it eventually did with the previous games. I do want to raise my levels, but I also try not to do it so fast and exclusive to the point that I do not play for the other aspects of the game at the same time. It is true that this is also partly due to the fact that practising skill just to raise them is so damn boring that I can only stand to do it in small chunks. I usualy play to be working to progress some skills but also try to complete a quest or two or just find a dungeon to destroy per game session. I think this helps me get more from the game and have it last longer for me. I just wanted the warning to be out here that this can happen with this game, and it might happen for you. =====( 1. General Notes )===== The only way to level up to is raise skills. When a certain amount has been raised you will be able to level up. The amount of skill increases needed gets higher as you increase in level. You level-up by opening the skills menu. There are only 3 ways to raise a skill. You can improve skills in the field, by using them as you do combat or adventuring. You can find books, that when read will increase a skill by one point each. And last, you can pay trainers to raise your skill for you. Each of these three ways are discussed in detail below. All skills are very easy to raise to about 30-35. After this they all slow down noticeably. The final 80-100 skill range is toughest of them all. All skills follow this pattern. Overall each skill is different, some are much harder/easier than others to get maximum. I recommend choosing some skills to raise that apply to your class type early (fighter/stealth/magic-user). You will need these skills to be at a higher level so you may better survive and defeat encounters. Just like in the previous game somewhere around character level 18 the game will generate harder enemies for you to fight. At this point it will become much more important to raise many character levels faster. These encounters are very difficult at level 18. By increasing levels you add more health/mana and perks, all of which will help you better survive. Now is when you will want to raise a bunch of easy and fast skills to gain some fast levels. Look at any skills that are not yet near 35 becasue these will be faster to raise. Most skills will only improve if you use them in combat. In the previous game I could raise magic skills such as restoration by healing myself for small amounts even when I was at full health, or raise destruction by casting a small fire spell at a wall. In Skyrim this usually won't work. There are some skills that will raise without being in combat, but there definitiely are more restrictions and requirements to make skills improve. Earning a decent amount of gold is important in this game. You need it to buy items in the game such as lockpicks, potions, crafting materials. Paying for skill trainers is one of the most important uses for your gold. You really do not want to find yourself unable to pay for training when you really want it, and this can happen very easily. Every time you can and do find the gold to pay trainers for skill it will be that many less you have to learn on your own. At higher level these skills take a large amount of time to do on your own, and this is also when the trainers charge the most. A few brief tips on gold earning follow. If keep your mindset on making the best possible money throughout the game you will find many other ways to profit substantially. -You do want a house, but you only need one house to start and only need enough furnishings to provide you with a few containers. Get more later when you have more money. I recommend the house in Whiterun City as it is in a central location, very close to the fast-travel entrance to the city, and near many vendors. This house does cost 5000g plus the cost of some furnishings. But you "NEED" it as a place to store all the things you collect and do not want to sell, so you can keep your weight low to carry more stuff back to sell for more money. You can get the Jarl's Steward in the fortress to make this available to you early by following the main story questline, just before fighting your first dragon at the west guard tower. There are cheaper and more expensive houses around other towns. In any case, purchasing a house needs to be made an urgent and high priority goal- do this as soon as you can. -Do not buy a horse. You can still fast travel like normal without one, and an early dragon encounter will likely kill him anyway. They are difficult to ride and manuever anyway, much easier to just move as normal. You can get a free mount later by following one of the guild questlines. Save your gold and skip this expense, at least until you have tons of cash to blow for it. -The "Speechcraft" perks are worth having. One valuable skill adds 1000g gold to all vendors, another lets you invest 500g to permanently raise a specific vendor's gold by 500g, useful for the vendors you frequest often. One very useful perk lets you sell any type of item to any vendor. This makes speechcraft skill points worth learning early and often. -There is a lot of money to be made in dungeons, however you often cannot carry most of it back with you because it is all too heavy. Watching the weight-to-value ratio can help you decide what to loot and what to skip. Even after this you can drop a big load near the entrance and then finish the dungeon. Later you can fast travel back to pick up the stuff you dropped. Skill Leveling Tip: Go back to the Guardian Stones and change your preference depending on which skills you are focusing on now. For example, the Warrior Stone will make your combat skills increase 20% faster. Switch to the Mage Stone (20% faster increases to casting skills) or Thief Stone (20% faster increases to stealth skills) when you think you might be primarily working on a different set of skills. Only one can be active at any single time, but you can change which bonus you recieve by going back and touching the stone you want to be active. You found the Guardian Stones almost immediately after the turorial beginning part of the game. =====( 2. Reading Books for Skill )===== There are 5 books for each skill that you can find and read to raise a skill. Some are in friendly areas such as shops and guild halls, others are found in dungeons as you battle and explore. Even if it is indicated that everything in a place would be stolen you are always able to read books, just don't put it in your inventory. You can have a follower carry a book for you if you do not wish to read it first, later transfer it from the follower to you. I recommend to use the "quick-save" feature of the game (F5) just before reading all books in an area. If you come across a book and it gave you skill you have the option of reloading your game quickly (F9) to do something different. If you know a book will give you skill and do have the option to read it later then you might want this. Make a note of which book gave which skill and stash it in a safe place until your skill is very high, when it would be hardest and most expensive to gain skill normally. But, in any case reading books for skill is such a tiny part of the overall process I generally did not worry about it. If I got skill I just let it be as such. I do not have a list of book names and locations. You might be able to find a list if you want on the internet. =====( 3. Using Skills to Progress )===== -Block- One of the easiest skills to raise. Do not spend training points on this skill. When ever you find an enemy that cannot hit you down faster than you regenerate health just lift your shield and back into a corner. Your skill will raise fast. When an enemy is hitting you hard and you need to buy time, maybe for healing mana to regenerate, you can lift your shield to take much less damage. Personally I do not actually block much while playing, I raised the skill for levels and often equip a shield just for the extra AC and enchantment bonus. I did not spend any perks in blocking. -Heavy Armor- Another very easy skill to raise, so do not spend any training points here either. Wear heavy armor and let them hit you (with shield down). You will often find enemies that cannot really hurt you and these are perfect to raise skill on. Often you will find things that hurt your somewhat, these are great to also raise restoration skill at the same time if they don't hurt you more than your majicka regeneratess to heal yourself. I spent heavily on perks in this category. One perk makes enemies take damage when you wear full heavy armor, so you may at times need to unequip one piece if you do not want them to die fast while raising skill. -Light Armor- Raises fast so also not worth spending training points on. Just like heavy armor let something beat on you while wearing light armor (shield does not count) and your skill will improve fast. A neat trick can be to mix heavy and light armor pieces to raise both skills at the same time. It does not seem to raise both faster than a single armor skill, both skills would raise half as fast as a single alone, so you do not save time. Which ever chest item you equip seems to get the most skill increases, probably becuase the chest area gets hit more than any other part of the body. It was worth it to me to max this skill as fast as I could so I could stop carrying the light armor around, which lessened my carry burden. I did not spend any perks here as I planned to play in heavy armor and spent all my perks there. -Archery- A very difficult skill to raise. It take a very long time to get each point once you are at and above a skill of 75 to 80ish. But it does slowly but surely raise as long as you do attack with bows often enough. My favorite place to use bows is with a sneak attack, or ranged enemies like archers/casters/dragons. A neat tip is to not pull the bowstring back when firing at enemies within melee range. Your bow still does good damage but you can now fire it much faster and get faster skill gains. I thought it was well worth it to spend many training points with the archery trainer in the first town, but he will not train you past 50 skill. At this time I am now level 70 and my skill is still 2 points shy of 100. -One-Handed- A very difficult skill to raise. It take a very long time to get each point once you are at and above a skill of 75 to 80ish. But it does slowly but surely raise as long as you continue to attack with any 1-handed weapon. At level 70 my skill is still only at 93. One trick to raise skill faster is to keep an unenchanted/unimproved iron dagger with you, and when you find an enemy that can't hurt you enough to attack with the dagger. If he has a lot of health and doesn't hurt you much at all you can even use your targeted heal spell to raise him back to full health so you can chip away at his health again with the dagger. This will also raise restoration skill at the same time. This skill is well worth spending training points on, especially at higher levels when skill comes so much more slowly. I trained some perks in this skill, but not a lot. I was planning to have 1-hand swords as my main playing weapons. The first perk has 5 skills levels which raise 1-hand damage by 20% for each rank. You want to avoid buying this for as long as possible because if you kill enemies faster by doing more damage you get less swings and opportunity to raise skill. I did spent 1 perk there early just so I could spend a few more perks deeper in the tree, then bought all 5 ranks much later. -Two-Handed- A very difficult skill to raise. It take a very long time to get each point once you are at and above a skill of 75 to 80ish. But it does slowly but surely raise as long as you continue to attack with any 1-handed weapon. This skill will take even longer than 1-hand will because a 2-hand weapon will swing slower and do more damage. Less swings and faster killing means you get less opportunity to raise skill on each monster. I still have a pretty low skill here at level 70. I do not plan to spend any perks here, once I am done with this skill I will throw away all my 2-hand weapons and never look at one again. Very well worth it to use training points for this skill. Obviously, I did not spend any perks in this tree. I still have this skill at a fairly low level at level 70. I am not looking forward to the attempt to max it out. *-Casting Skills Notes- The next 5 skills discussed are the casting skills, and these notes apply to all of them. There are 2 things you can do to make these go faster. First, is your majicka regeneration rate. Some casting skills improve by larger amounts when you cast higher mana spells, and others increase at the same rate irregardless of the cost. In either case the limiting factor is your mana, as it will run out at some point and you must wait for it to regenerate. So, having a higher regeneration rate becomes very important. You can get a bonus of 25% and 50% with perks in the restoration tree. You can wear robes that will reduce mana cost and improve regeneration, these come in several ranks and are usually specific to a school of magic. You get Archmage Robes upon completing the main college of winterhold questline (150% regenerate and 15% less mana to all schools of magic) and before completing this quest series you get a 50% regenerate neck item. You can also enchant your own items. Head items with regeneration are also common. Regeneration rates do seem to stack, so having more bonuses regenerates mana even faster. The second thing that will help is a mana reduction bonus item. If it costs less to cast spells you can cast more and need less regeneration. These items usually come with school specific bonuses. You should be watching and collecting an item set that will let you regenerate decent mana normally, and regenerate even more mana when you need it. As your mana pool increases with levels you need even more and better regeneration rates. As a fighter I did not raise my mana very much, but this suited me well because I did not use much in the field, and a small amount of mana that regenerates fast is useful to me. A last thing to be aware of is most spells will not increase unless you are in combat or near enough to enemies. There are some exceptions and the individual cases of this will be noted below. -Conjuration- One of the easiest skills to raise. Don't buy training points for this skill. Simply use the "Bound Sword" spell to summon a sword for you. Sheathe it right away to unsummon it, and cast another one. Repeat this often to gain skill levels. Even as you approach the 80 to 100 skill range it takes much less casting of this to raise skill than other casting skills. You must do this while in combat, or at least within range of an enemy angry at you. The bound sword spell costs less mana than the battleaxe which you also can get at early level, and the higher mana spells did not seem to increase skill faster. The raise spells will also increase skill, but are much harder to use and it takes significantly longer. You need to have a dead opponent within the level requirements of the spell you are using. These spells can be great strategy in normal and difficult combat encounters, but when you want to raise skill fast they are not. -Illusion- This skill is also pretty easy and fast to raise. I would not recommend spending training points on this skill either. You can keep Clairvoyance ready and cast it often as you are adventuring, the skill will go up fast at early levels. It will show a magical path to your current quest goal, in a dungeon or on the road cast this whenever you have a choice of directions to travel, it will help guide the way. A faster way to skill 100 is using the Muffle spell. It can be cast anywhere, even out of combat. Find a quiet safe spot and cast it repeatedly as mana allows. I was gaining a full skill point with eash cast to about 35 skill, and getting to 100 won't take terribly long. I raised most of it one Sunday afternoon while most of my attention was on a football game. -Alteration- This skill seemed pretty difficult to raise to maximum. I have not finished it yet myself, and still have a few things to learn about it. I did spend a fair amount of training points on this skill and I am still in the 80s somewhere. The light spells were good ways to raise early skill, but it seemed pretty darn slow to me at around 50 skill. Use Candlelight first, and as your mana pool increases switch to Magelight. I believe that Waterbreathing and Telekinesis are 2 spells you can cast out of combat for skill, but I haven't yet tested it myself to see if one might be really good for skill increases. I know a somewhat neat trick is to combine alteration's Equilibrium spell and restoration's self healing. You trade health for mana, and use the mana to heal yourself. In this way you would raise 2 casting skills at the same time. My restoration skill was already maxed at the time I learned of this so I still haven't determined if Equilibrium is good or not to raise skill. It also took me until later in the game before I was able to acquire these last 3 spells. I did find a useful perk in this tree that any type of character should want... 3 ranks of "Magic Resistance" will give you a 30% resist rate. -Restoration- A somewhat difficult skill to raise to max, but it will get there slow and steady as long as you use it. The best way to do this is cast healing spells, either on yourself, or on enemy or friendly NPC's. For the heal to register progress with skill improvments a heal must actually be needed. You do not need to be in combat. The Equilibrium spell lets you trade health for mana, which seems like a good idea to cycle between these 2 spells... knock down your health to give you more mana, which you use to heal yourself back up. But, there are better ways. If you just heal yourself or others depending on the situation while you train other skills up like weapons/armor/block you will hit max skill of 100 long before you get all the other skills to maximum level. I spent a good amount of perks in this tree. It seemed very useful, and in earlier levels it was. But now that I have reached level 70 I find myself using heal spells very rarely. If I were to ever start a 2nd character I would rethink this strategy and spend less perks here. The two ranks of mana regeneration are very important. I do not recommend spending training points on this skill, there are just too many combinations to get this skill maxed in due course of working with other skills and just playing the game. -Destruction- A very difficult skill to raise to maximum, as it works just like the weapon skills, you have to use the skill on enemies, and once they are dead you need to use it on the next enemies. Over and Over again for a very long time. Once I started training this skill I kept a flames per second spell hotkeyed to pull out at every opportunity, if things got rough I would swith back to my kill-em-fast stuff. I have not discovered an easier place yet to practice this. There may be an NPC somewhere that you can practice on with high health and won't fight back or hurt much if he does. I did notice that some NPC's are immune to fire damage (like some ice wraiths) yet my skill would raise just for trying, but this didn't seem super fast to me. I have not yet tested other spells to check for faster increases. As a fighter class I did not spend any perks in this skill, but if you use destruction spells more I am sure there are many useful perks here. I have spend some training points here, and would recommend to do this more. -Speechcraft- There are 2 separate ways to raise this skill. I did nearly all of mine with buying and selling, but you can get increases by choosing "intimidate/persuade/bribe" options in dialog with other NPC's too. When buying/selling look to do transactions one item at a time. You can buy/sell items up to quantities of 5 before a "select quantity" dialog box appears and slows you down. You can even plan for this by going to a vendor with several stack of 5 items that he does not sell. Simply sell all those items fast, and buy them back fast, repeat this as often as you can to skill quickly. This option does cost you money as he sells them back to you for more than he paid to buy them. Choose cheap costing items to do this with and it will cost less. In any case just your normal buying and selling will gain you a decent amount of skill, a point or two after a larger dungeon with a good loot haul can be expected. I have seen comments from other people saying they found certain NPC's in the game that will let you use dialog options repeatedly to gain fast skill. I haven't found any myself yet but I also did not look real hard before my skill was already pretty far along. You might wish to try this as high skill might be had for less cost, as long as you don't choose the bribery option. In any case I would strongly recommend to try and get this skill maxed fast and early as it will directly lead to your ability to earn better money. I did not find skill trainers soon enough or I would most definitely spent as much as I could there. There are many great perks here that will improve profits. The way I look at this set of skills is spend money if you have to and you will make even more money sooner because of it. -Lockpicking- This is another very slow (but steady) skill to increase. You simply need to pick every lock you come across. Fortunately in nearly every dungeon you run there will be a few/several locks to pick. The master level locks give a ton of skill increase on success compared to lower level locks so you should never pass on these. The limiting factor is your stockpile of lockpicks. Just a few master locks can drop a small to decent size stock of picks to dangerous low levels. You never want to be without lots of these on you. Loot every pick you see, buy every pick from vendors, even when you think you have enough picks now, you still do not. A neat trick if you find yourself low on picks and faced with a master lock is to save before starting and learn the position needed so you can releoad and probably open it without breaking a single pick. Another trick is to do the Rogue Guild quests early. Although I am about to start this questline myself I do seem to recall that the previous 2 games allowed an unlimited supply of picks to buy once you were at some point through these quests. You can alos pick locks in shops towns etc once your sneak skill is good enough. It is not a crime to pick these locks only if you aren't seen doing it. I would highly recommend spending for training points. And I am pretty sure there are some decent perks that will allow leveling to faster, or at least easier. Outside of helping to level this skill I doubt I would spend perks here for my normal gameplay. -Sneak- This skill works a bit differently than the others in that it can be hard to raise skill when it's low, and easier when it's higher. This is because you can increase skill when you sneak successfully, but at low skill you won't succeed with sneak much. Because of this you want to do some things to kick start that early skill. Try using an item with an enchant sneak ability on it. Use sneak attacks with arrows, a ranged sneak attack will raise skill. Un-equip your foot armor if you have trouble with being detected. And buy a few perks at first opportunity. The first perk is 5 ranks of "Stealth" which helps you avoid detection by another 10% per rank. The 2nd perk is "Muffled Movement" which reduces noise from armor while sneaking. The 3rd useful perk is "Silence" which allows you to run with armor on while sneaking, although your skill must be fairly high before you can train this perk. At some point around 50 to 60 skill this became real easy for me to raise, probably because of the perks I trained. Now I can find hundreds of NPC's sneak will work on. Simply find an NPC that doesn't wander much and look for a wall at a longer distance but still within line of sight to the NPC. Turn on your auto-run and run into the wall, adjusting the position you face until you find a spot where you don't move. Check your skill progress bar after a minute to be sure you are actually gaining skill, if you are not then you probably are too far away. It won't take long to learn what distances will still work, and it's now easy to be undetected and find a nice spot. This is a skill that will work great while you AFK, too. It will work on friendly NPC's too, such as a sleeping waitress in the local inn. My skill is now at 80 and it takes at least 5 minutes, getting close to 10 minutes to gain each full skill point. So, this will take a while. You can also run around dungeons with sneak on and gain some skill without even knowing that it is happening. This does make it take longer to travel through it, but in a dungeon this can be a good thing, you won't miss as many important things and you set yourself up for many more sneak attacks. -Pickpocketing- This is the one skill I still have yet to raise a single point in. I have now successfully pickpocketed a few times but without increase. I had always assumed that this skill would be worse to raise without a high sneak skill first. To be honest I really don't know yet what any good options are to raise skill fast and efficiently. I am fairly sure now that this will be my final skill to max. I am planning to run the rogue guild questline next, and I know when the master skill trainer becomes available to me I will use it at every opportunity. I suspect there will be a few perks that may help skills increase faster, and I will train them if I can spare the perk points. If I find useful tips I will come back and edit/add to this section. -Smithing- This really is an incredibly easy/cheap/fast skill to raise. And very useful, too. You can create and improve the high level armors and weapons. And they do improve by quite a bit. It is well worth it to buy perks on one side of the tree to get to "Daedric". Don't forget to buy the middle option which also you to improve armor/weapons that are already magical. It is so easy to raise this skill that you should not spend any training points here. All you need to do is buy iron ore and ignots, and leather strips and leather at every chance you can. Store them away until you have collected a decent amount. The leather is much easier to get high quantities of so I recommend not to carry and leather and pelts back from the field. When you are ready go to a smith, use the tanning rack to convert all pelts and leather to leather strips, use the smelter to convert all iron ore to iron ignots, then use the forge to create iron daggers. A tip to do these steps fast is to select the item with "E" and confirm yes with the "Y" button, you will create hundreds in only a few minutes. The daggers do not sell for much so I usually just dropped them all on the ground except for one which I use for 1-hand skill. As you go up in ranks in the perk tree it is worth it to improve armors and your favorite kill-em-fast weapon. People say that dragonscale armor is the best you can get/create in game, but I disagree- it is definitely Daedric. And Daedric just doesn't drop in this game at higher level like it did in previous games. You could be walking around at low level in full Daedric gear, and it makes a ton of difference. -Enchanting- This skill is not terrible to raise, but is not super easy like smithing either. It takes a bit of planning to do it somewhat fast later. The very first thing you want to do is collect various magic gears to disenchant. Choose this option at the enchanter table and destroy an item you are carrying to learn the enchantment it has on it, which will then be available to you later to use on gear of your own. You can only disenchant an item with that type of enchantment on it once, and when you know that one it will not let you disenchant another item with that enchantment on it again. If I had 2 rings with smithing enchantments on them of 5% and 20% I would disenchant the lower level ring, and vendor the other one. So, you should not vendor the magical items you collect until you check to see if you can disenchant it first. You will gain quite a bit of enchanting skill by just disenchanting first. I believe I got to near 50 skill before I ever enchanted one item. You will want to collect 2 other things, and save them up for a while before starting. First you need filled soul gems. I recommend buying as many of these from any vendor that has them at every opportunity you have. Since filling soul gems is such a pain I would only buy the filled ones. And you should buy the lowest level gems first, then middle and higher level soul gems as cash permits. When you are raising skill it didn't matter which gem you used, so the cheapest ones are obviously the best first choice. You will likely need many of the middle level gems too, unless you want to be collecting for much longer. The 2nd item needed is something to enchant. You can enchant all those daggers you made from smithing, and this might be a good choice at lower skill level, but enchanting weapons makes you go through an extra confirmation step that can really slow you down even more (the enchanting process is already much slower than smithing). I used lots of various necklace and rings that I found adventuring, and even made some with the silver and gold ores I found. It means you do not get money for selling these now, but you will after you enchant them. By enchanting these items I was able to go through the enchant process faster. Jewelry and soul gems did not weigh much, so I could carry a large amount of materials with me to the enchanting table. Five things determine how powerful your enchantements are: Your skill level in enchanting, the perks you have trained, the quality of the soul gem (grand is the best), the quality of the item you enchant (gold diamond neck/ring and daedric gear is the best), and the item with enchanting bonus you wear. When I was skilling up I did not care what I made, I used the cheapest gear and soul gems I had and put a simple waterbreathing enchantment on them, But, when you want you put an enchantment on gear you will use you want the best possible enchantment. The carry bonus enchantment is one of my favorites, and a better enchantment here means each enchantment increases you weight allowance more then simpler enchantments will. However, even at low skill and with lesser gear you may want to consider putting a lower level carry enchantment to use for now. I put a carry bonus enchantment on my boots to equip, and on a necklace and ring to carry and equip when I was encumbered in the middle of a dungeon. When I get my double enchant bonus I am sure I will add more carry bonus enchantments. Just like with smithing the perks are are incredibly powerful. The final perk is worth it alone... the ability to put 2 enchantments on 1 item. I hope I don't need to say more about why this is incredibly valuable. I also would not spend any training points on this skill, if you just remember to collect the items you need for a while you can max enchanting easily. The college of Winterhold has about 6 caster NPC's which will sell soul gems, which makes for a nice place to collect when you have some cash and are in the area. -Alchemy- This is a somewhat time-consuming and long term goal skill to max. But it can be done without much trouble if you constantly take the time to pick up all the alchemy materials you see. You can tell what items are for alchemy by noticing the item description is different than other items like foods, listing 4 properties of the ingredient (or "unknown" properties"). Everytime you return to town drop off the materials you collected into a container in your house. These only weigh 0.1 to 0.3 usually but with the amounts you collect they add up to be considerable weight if you don't drop them off regularly. When you have a large batch of ingredient go visit an alchemy table. It won't take long to learn this. You should note that some potions give considerable more progress than others, and some seem to give almost none. I belive this has to do with which of the 4 properties of ingredients you are mixing with. If you make a potion with 2 ingredients that both use the first listed property skill gain will be lower, and if you mix potions using higher listed properties skill gain will be much improved. Occasionally you will learn new properties of ingredients when you mix potions. You can always learn at least the first property of an ingredient if it's unknown just by eating it raw. A useful perk to have is "Experimentor" which has 3 ranks, each letting you learn the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th property by eating them. I didn't train the last rank, but found the first 2 ranks very useful. The random game tips even state that you can gain a small amount of alchemy experience from eating ingredients. Another very useful perk is "Green Thumb" which causes you to collect 2 ingredients at a time. This really helps you get the materials you need much faster. Selling created potions is a great money maker. However, you should consider keeping some on you at all times, and a decent stash in your home for when you run low. There are only 4 potions that I consider to be "must haves": restore health, restore mana, restore stamina, and cure desease. I carry about 7 to 10 of each on me except for health which I carry even more. I try to only carry the "ultimate" potions that I have found and bought, and do my best to not use these unless in dire need. Of course my mana pool is pretty tiny so ultimate mana isnt really worth it, but my health is now around 800 points and still climbing, the ultimate heals are especially good to have. In order to not use my stash of ultimates up fast I make use of the other potions I find or make with alchemy, and I keep a decent stash of these in my house to resupply with. Sell almost all the rest to make great money, although your own gameplay style may have you keep and use others. I found out later in this game that I do not make potions like I did in the previous 2 games. Before it was possible to find vendors at very low level with unlimited supply of ingredients to make mana and health potions, and in turn make a large amount of gold at low level too. You cannot do that in this game. You still make good money from doing it, and you can still make nice and useful potions, it is just done over a much longer period of time now. For this reason I don't believe I will spend any more perks in Alchemy past green thumb and rank2 of experimentor. If you like creating potions and put them to best use then you might strongly consider buying more perks as this skill comes close to the usefulness that smithing and enchanting does. In your first city "Whiterun" the local alchemy shop has an expert skill trainer who will train to 75. I did spend points here because I didn't yet know where other skill trainers were, I may have done it anyway. Spend points on trainers here if you want to, but you can get this skill to 100 without too much difficulty on your own. =====( 4. Skill Trainers for Advancement )===== You can train a skill up to five times each time you level up. They do not have to all be with the same trainer. You can spend 3 points at one trainer, and then 2 more at another. Each time you train it costs you gold, which increases in amount as your skill goes up. Since gold will be the biggest limiting factor for how often you can use trainers you may want to make earning money a priority. If you miss training and level up again you cannot go back to train for the previous level. There are occasions when you can train with 2 or more trainers per level for the full 5 points each. At one time I thought I knew the rule but I have proved it wrong already. At first, I thought you could train with one trainer for each general skill category (combat/casting/stealth) since I was training with an expert alchemist and a journeyman bowyer at the same time. But then when I trained with a master spellcaster in the college I could not train a combat skill at the same level. So I now believe the rule probably is you can train with only 1 master, 1 expert, and 1 journeyman trainer per level. I have not proven this yet. Since I have done it before I am sure there is some rule in place for how and when you can. I suppose it is even possible that a level cap might be in place, for instance 1 trainer per level after 50. I just don't know for sure right now. If you have not used any trainers yet for your current level and you want to, you can still earn enough skill points to gain another level. The trick is to not open up the skills/levelup menu until after you trained. The moment you open that menu you are required to level-up even if you accidently open it. So, go to your trainer(s) and train your skill points, then immediately level up, and you can train a fresh set of 5 more skills. Don't forget that training skills will progress you to the next level, too. If you earn enough skill increases to gain 2 levels you will be forced to train 2 levels at once, and lose opportunity to use trainers for 1 level. Some trainers may be unavailable to you until you complete certain quests. These are mostly some of the quests to gain status in organizations such as the thieves guild. For example, The Master smithing trainer is not available until you complete the early and easy steps in the main Companions questline. Go to Riften (The Rift), go to the market circle and a guy will start talking to you. He comes up with a shceme to take a ring from a seller and put it into another guys pocket without being seen. When tne shceme is finished go back and talk to him about joining the thieves guild. When your done talking you haev to meet him in the Ragged Flagon in the ratway. When you get there, you will talk to the leader and do quests. Your done!

Go to the inn, attack the woman who is always in the inn, she can not be killed, and will give you a lot of experience if you defeat her, attack her when nobody else is there(you will have to kill the innkeeper too.) if you do, you will gain a lot of experience with to bounty put on your head.

Hi all...there is a glitch in the game that allows you to buy your house for nothing...go to solitude with 25k gold to buy the house..when your in convo with the steward to buy the house..when you say you will take it...quickly leave the convo whilst the stewart is talking and put your 25k gold in the dresser beside him...once you leave the dresser..the mayor will hand the key over for the new house and youve still got the 25k in the dresser lol..that you can use to decorate your house...
