|Killing Large Groups of Zombies||89%|
|Description: When you encounter large groups of zombies, or you have run and have a lot of them following, use the following trick to deal with them. Look for a nearby vehicle and sprint to it. Jump on top of it and crouch on the hood. While there, you can still hit the zombies. *** Do not do this on the roof of the vehicle; you will not be able to hit them, and they can still hit you at times. *** Use the analog style of fighting to do more decapitations and swing your weapon faster.|
|Lost [Easter Egg]||89%|
|Description: Do the quest to clear out the Lifeguard Tower at the start of the game. Clear the garage of the few zombies there. Go inside and you will hear a radio broadcast of an Oceanic Flight in an emergency descent to an island due to engine failure.|
|League Of Legends [Easter Egg]||89%|
|Description: Shortly after the Lifeguard Tower (Exodus) is completed, there is a quest giver named Annie in a bungalow to the left of the main road. She initiates the quest by saying "Have you seen my bear?" and asks you to retrieve the teddy bear for her. In League Of Legends, there is a champion also named Annie. In that game, Annie's catchphrase is "Have you seen my bear, Tibbers?"|
|Description: This trick works best if you play as Logan. Humans can use weapons, and so can you. However, when it comes down to a gunfight you are both evenly matched. A good way to kill humans with little effort is to throw modded weapons. However, there are a few exceptions. The weapon must be a sharp weapon. Blunt weapons only damage them slightly. The military machete works best. The weapon must have either a Poison mod or a Shock mod. Fire will not do anything. Make sure you upgrade the weapon to at least Level 3. You may want to mod a powerful weapon because it will have minimal affect against stronger humans. Keep your distance when throwing, and have plenty of ammunition. This is one reason why Logan is better for this, because thrown objects can come back to him. However, if you have a clear view of the target, throw the weapon and they will die instantly.|
|Meet the Characters||88%|
| Here's a break down of the main characters in Dead Island. Learn their strengths and weaknesses and gain a leg up in the game.|
| Description: It wouldn't be a video game if these guys didn't have something to fight. And if the name of the game didn't give it away, these characters will be doing battle with zombies. Now, there are different zombie types in the game that the player has to fight, as well as human enemies. Here they are:|
Walker - This type of zombie is slow, and you'll often find it lying on the ground. It can grab you, which will initiate a QTE in which you have to pull on the left trigger and then the right trigger to free yourself.
Infected - These guys can be EXTREMELY dangerous. If the Walker represented the kind of zombies found in the Resident Evil games, then the Infected are definitely representations of the undead in the Dawn of the Dead remake. They can run fast, and they attack viciously and quickly.
Thug - These behemoths are most reminiscent of the Tanks from the Left 4 Dead games. They deal a lot of damage and it takes a ton of effort to kill one of these suckers. The plus side is that they are slow. The downside is that one punch from them will knock you on your ass. Literally.
Suicider - These tortured souls explode in a gooey mess. You just need to walk by them, but be sure to get out of dodge... otherwise they will kill you with a single explosion! If you want XP from their deaths, you have to hit them with a weapon at least once before they blow up.
Ram - Think a Tank in a straight-jacket. And bam, you've got a Ram. These guys mindlessly ram themselves at you like a rhinocerous. They can be killed easy with Fury attacks, but it's probably wise to run by them as they deal a crazy amount of damage.
Floater - Ick. These fatties are virtual clones of the Boomers from Left 4 Dead, except without all of the zombie-attracting puke. Yeah, they still spit bile, but you don't need to go crouch in a corner and swing your gun around like a mad man if they do. They're best avoided, but in situations when they have to be killed, just be sure to avoid their bile, and if you can get behind them, lay into them until you run out of stamina.
Humans - Throughout the course of the game, you will have to fight a variety of human enemies. They have various names based on the gangs they are affiliated with or whatever, but they're all basically the same. They're almost always packing heat, and they are always jerks. They can be killed a lot easier than the zombies, but they have a serious advantage thanks to their firearm skills.
Butcher - These vicious beasts are very dangerous. They have a lot of health, move very fast, and deal a ton of damage. They use the sharpened bones that used to be their arms to deal damage. They MUST be killed when they confront you, otherwise they will just chase you around and stab at you until you die. Kill them. That's the best advice I can possibly give. Give them all you have and then some.

|Getting Kills without Dulling Your Weapon||88%|
|Description: To get kills without dulling your weapon, use the following tips. Killing zombies takes a toll on your weapon. However, even when it is on its last legs, it is not completely useless. Throwing your weapons can damage enemies without dulling the weapon. If you have a weapon worth keeping, but it is almost used up, keep throwing it at zombies until you can repair it again.|
| Description: To easily get money, use the following tips. Use the following trick if you want to modify, repair, or create a weapon but are short on money. If the craft table is inside of a store, search the cash register. Occasionally you can find a couple hundred dollars.|
After you have discovered the Church and the Warehouse, reach the city. Go to the Warehouse and obtain the hammer and baseball bat. Fast travel to the Church and sell them for about $400. Return to the Warehouse and repeat the process as many times as desired.
|Description: To easily gain experience points, reach Ope's Cave in Act 3, then use the "Duplicate Weapons" glitch to copy your most valuable weapon. Sell the weapons to a vendor to get a lot of money, then buy Oleander from a vendor if it is available. Taking as much Oleander as you can buy, fast travel back to Ope's Cave and turn it in to the tribesman that give you the Continuous Event "Dreamtime". Each time you turn in five Oleander Blossoms, you will receive $1 and 1,000 experience points. Repeat this as many times as desired.|
|Pimp My Ride [Easter Egg]||86%|
|Description: Do the quest near the end of the Resort level, where you take the big truck to the mechanic to turn it into a homemade tank or fortress. While talking to him, just before you have to defend the shop while he does his work, he will say that he is going to "Pimp your ride" [Easter Egg].|
|I dont know if this works for xbox but I know it does for ps3 but while in the game you need to find a checkpoint near a high drop or a cliff that will kill you. when you have the checkpoint finished loading (only works near checkpoint unless you want to have to travel a long way in progress of this cheat) drop all of your guns by the checkpoint. Then jump off cliff or whatever you are using to kill yourself. when it is counting down to your respawn press pause and hit "load to last checkpoint" when its finished loading you will still have the stuff you dropped then go to where ever you dropped your items and they will be sitting there. grab them and do it as many times as you like. I started off with 1 diamond which is worth 1500 and ended up with 50. its better if you do it a few times so that your at like lets say ten diamonds then go to another checkpoint and do the same then you will be able to get ten at a time then so on. the reason it wont double your things you dropped because you did it more than once is because the checkpoint was made when you had only the amout of stuff you had in your inventory before you did the duplicating if you dont understand what I mean you will see once you try this. be careful though because you could lose your stuff I had my 50 diamonds and eneded up with 2 for being careless and I also heard that the game will glitch and you will lose your stuff if you drop items to fast. I dunno if its true but im not dumb enough to try it. I hope this helped you im deadshort00 on ps3 no caps if you want to add me and see if I have any more cheats but make sure you message me so I know you added me because you read this. by the way im not the kind of person to make you lose all of your stuff this IS real and I have tried it. thanks for reading.|
