Mad Catz' Street Fighter X Tekken Arcade FightStick V.S. [ Review ]

I recently acquired an official Mad Catz’ Street Fighter X Tekken Arcade FightStick V.S. edition for Xbox 360. I’ve played the hell out of it, and now I’m here to bring you my final results, along with a grand review. I’ve always been a fan of the Street Fighter series. I once played an official Capcom USA Street Fighter arcade machine. I only played it once, but I fell in love. That brought me to frequently play my local arcade’s Street Fighter II arcade machine. She was a beauty. It had a six-button layout and an 8-way directional stick. [...More ]

Street Fighter vs Mega Man [ Review ]

Capcom has had a legacy in its two most popular game franchises, Street Fighter and Mega Man. Nowadays, Street Fighter has had a revival with Super Street Fighter IV, which celebrated its 25th anniversary with a sponsored worldwide tournament. As for Mega Man, there hasn't been a major release for years now and the last few ones had been lackluster. The lastest one, Mega Man 9, was more of a throwback to the old school days for the franchise. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of both these franchises, Capcom has combined both into a single free title called Street Fighter [...More ]

Street Fighter IV: Volt (iOS) [ Review ]

The original Street Fighter IV for the iOS was first seen as a novel idea more than a game with excellent potential, which is what Capcom must have started to realize once the demand for additional characters and online multiplayer came in from all over. SF4 does have the potential in the mobile market due to simple controls, fairly balanced gameplay, and a die-hard international community of players and fans, so it's about time that Street Fighter IV: Volt came out for the iOS. The first game had polish that was not common with iOS games. The only problem with it [...More ]

REVIEW: Super Street Fighter IV

Cheats: PS3 X360 GBA Much of what I'm going to say in this review will be a repeat of what I've said in the past related to Street Fighter IV. But that's not a bad thing by any means. Super Street Fighter IV - First Look

Cheats: PS3 X360 GBA Following the successful return of the classic beat-em-up series last year in the form of Street Figher IV, Capcom are following up with the imminent release of Super Street Fighter IV. Much like the original title of the same name all those years ago, Super Street Fighter IV is pretty much a pimped up version of Street Fighter IV. Given todays hardware capabilities you would be forgiven for expecting this to be a downloadable game expansion, but that's not the case. SUPER STREET FIGHTER IV TRAILER BQiT5jCZojk Development issues with Street Fighter IV have prevented the new content that comes with [...More ]

Street Fighter made it's return earlier this year on the Playstation 3 and XBox 360 in the form of Street Fighter IV, but PC gamers who happen to be fans of the title from days passed remain patiently waiting - but their wait is almost over as Street Fighter IV prepares to arrive on the PC at last. The game, Street Fighter IV, is scheduled for release on the PC on June 26th 2009 which is just around the corner when you take into account just how long fans of the Street Fighter series from years gone by have been waiting [...More ]

Tekken Card Tournament [ Review ]

If anyone told you that Tekken can be fought using cards, you would probably scoff at the notion. The franchise is known as one of the best fighting games of all time, and any other game mechanics aside from button mashing may seem like blasphemy. However, that is exactly what Tekken Card Tournament is, and before the torches are lit, this game might be worth a brief look, even for those who are severely offended by the idea. Tekken Card Tournament plays out very much like a game of rocks papers and scissors, in the sense that players will have no [...More ]

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 - Unlocking Secret Characters [ Guide ]

Tekken Tag Tournament 2, the latest installment in the Tekken series of fighting games – and the successor to the first Tekken game that allowed tag team based action – has recently been released for game consoles. Like most games, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 also features some hidden characters, and this article will describe how to get these characters available for play. Tekken Tag Tournament 2 [ Review ]

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is the follow up to the 1999 game of the same name. It is also the eighth installment to Namco’s Tekken series of fighting games. It has been released in arcades all over the Japan for the past year, and will now be ported to home consoles, with a few tweaks here and there for a, hopefully, more enjoyable playing experience. As with its predecessor, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 focuses on two-on-two, tag team battles. Players can switch between characters at any point in time, and players win the round by fully depleting the health of one [...More ]

Street Wrestler (iOS) [ Review ]

Professional wrestling features a world full of colorful characters with bulging muscles and in-ring skills that defy logic. Many would point out its scripted and fixed nature, but fans already know that. One of the sub-categories of pro wrestling is Lucha Libre, the style of Mexico where high-flying attacks and acrobatic maneuvers performed by masked wrestlers are preferred. There have been a few games released that have featured this theme, and here's a new one called Street Wrestler for the iOS. At face value, this does look like a clone of Lucha Fury from the Xbox Live Arcade. [...More ]

With the motion controlled Kinect having been released last year, gaming enthusiasts have already been begging for info about upcoming games that will be available for it. And, with a not so stellar collection of games for the Kinect at present, gamers are wondering if it will ever be more than just an expensive gimmick that was used as a ploy to branch into the casual gamers market. Tekken 6

Cheats: PSP PS3 X360 You would be forgiven for thinking Tekken hasn't made an appearance for many years, but infact in has only been away for two! Tekken 6 is now with us and attempts to thrust the series back to the fore-front of the fighting genre where it used to sit so proudly. Tekken: Dark Resurrection was the most recent title in the series, which unfortunately was only released on the PS3 two years ago and went relatively un-noticed by many because of the console exclusivity. Tekken 6 however see's the series back with a vengeance on all major platforms and [...More ]
