Goliath, Meet David (Trophy/Achievement) 95%
Goliath, Meet David (Bronze Trophy / 15 Gamerscore)
[Allowed a Goliath to level up 4 times before killing him]

Throughout Pandora you will come across several enemies named Goliath. You can identify them as they are hulking Maurauders with flaming skull helmets. When you shoot them in the head their helmet/head comes off and they become a "Raging Goliath".

When they are raging they attack any creature that is near them—be it friend or foe. When the Goliath kills a target it gains experience and eventually levels up. When it levels it becomes stronger, gains a level, and a new name. The name/level increase goes as follows:

1 Level - Badass Goliath
2 Levels - Super Badass Goliath
3 Levels - Ultimate Badass Goliath
4 Levels - Fatal GOD-liath

Once you see he has leveled up four times, or has the Fatal GOD-liath name, you can kill him to unlock the trophy/achievement.

This video shows the first location in the game that you can encounter a Goliath, which is in the Frostburn Canyon. It a level 10+ area, so it is best to wait until at least then to attempt this. Ideally you should follow a similar path as shown I the video, in order to avoid getting the Goliath killed before he finishes leveling. You can assist him in leveling by weakening the monsters he is fighting, but he must get the killing blow in order to gain the experience. See the video: Cheat Video

Trophy - Tribute to a Vault Hunter 93%
When you reach the town of Sanctuary, you need to locate Michael Mamaril who is around some of the town's major landmarks.( inside the Crimson Raider's HQ, Zed's Clinic, the News Stand, Claptrap's Corner) or other random locations around the city.

Talk to him and take the weapon he offers to unlock the achievement.

You can only get one weapon per visit, but he will reappear after story missions. Take a look around town, and try to find him again for more rewards! See the video: Cheat Video

Up High, Down Low Trophy / Achievement 93%
*** This can be done after completing a side mission called "Claptrap's Hidden Stash".

The mission can be started by talking to Claptrap in Sanctuary. He will give you a really short quest where you have to open a cupboard right infront of him. After completing the quest press Trianlge (PS3) / Y (X360) to prompt him into the high five position. Quickly hit his hand with a melee attack.

You can only bring him into the high five position once! Leave the game (without saving) if you mess up. Later on there will be other missions such as "Wildlife Preservation" where you can high five him, too! See the video: Cheat Video

PS3 Golden Key Glitch 76%
This method will allow you to use your Golden Key(s) as many times as you would like, and still keep them. This method only requires a USB Drive and of course, atleast one golden key in your inventory. No split screen required, No Secondary players required. No internet required either!

1. Insert USB into your PS3
2. Go to Save Data Utility
3. Copy your Borderlands Character save and Profile Data (This can also be used as a backup if you copy to your computer, highly recommended)
4. Load the game and continue as normal.
5. Head to Sanctuary and open the Golden Chest
6. Take the Loot
7. Press the Start Button and select QUIT to Save and Quit. Yes, you actually want to save.
8. Go back to the XMB (PS3 Dashboard)
9. Go to Save Data Utility then go into your USB Drive
10. Find the PROFILE DATA in the USB file storage, hit Triangle, Select Copy, Overwrite the file that is currently on your PS3 **AT THIS POINT, DO NOT COPY YOUR CHARACTER OR YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR LOOT FROM PREVIOUSLY OPENING THE CHEST**
11. Reload the Game
12. Go back to the chest and you should now have your key(s) again for use as well as the loot you received from step 6 above.
13. Repeat as desired.

If for some reason you end up not having your keys, put your original backup file back in the PS3 Save Data Utility and try again. I have tested this method with three different people and we all had the same successful results! (AlexK)

Final Boss cheat 50%
Once you Defeat Jack you then have to fight the Ultimate Warrior (not the old WWE wrestler). Once the warrior appear kill yourself and then you will respawn back @ the ammo machine. As you face the warrior in the in the distance in front of you look to your right you will see some scaffolding and a small cliff. Jump on the scaffolding and cliff and now you can kill the warrior safely from distance without any harm coming to you by shooting the warrior in the head and tail over the force field. This may take a little longer than normal (took me 10-15mins) but you cannot get killed by doing this.

BORDERLANDS 2 All you need to know... [ PREVIEW ]

] When the trailers for the first Borderlands game came out, everyone thought that the graphics and the game itself may become one of those industry "what not to do" jokes. After the release of the game though - which as we all know was a great critical and commercial success - the game gained a lot of fans who swore by the game. Since the end [...More ]

Borderlands 2 [ Preview ]

The original Borderlands, released in 2009, can very comfortably be described as a sleeper hit. There was a tremendous list of things that game reporters felt it was not, but tried to be a lot of things. It was said it tried to be Fallout on steroids, and it wasn’t. It was said it tried to be Gears of War, but it wasn’t. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t Bioshock either. The point through all of the negativity only dawned after its release; it didn’t need to be any of that, because it was Borderlands. It was fun, and that’s all [...More ]

Looking Forward: Halo 4, Borderlands 2, and Fable: The Journey

Halo 4 is undoubtedly one of the biggest upcoming releases. Every entry in the Halo franchise, even the spin-offs like Reach and ODST, are monumental video game events, selling millions of copies on the first day of release. Halo 4 will likely continue that success, but Halo 4 is ever the more interesting since it's the first original Halo game not developed by series creators Bungie. Will 343 Industries be able to successfully take the reigns and deliver a new Halo experience that can compete with the other major shooters like Call of Duty and Battlefield? The first Borderlands game [...More ]

Borderlands 2 - What To Expect

Borderlands was a fantastic game developed by Gearbox Software, and published by 2K Games. The graphic style was artistic and cool. There was plenty of loot, and virtually infinite guns that you could come across during your journey on Pandora. If you hadn't played this game, you'd have been definitely missing out. Well, guess what?! Gearbox is back, with the sequel to Borderlands called Borderlands 2. And it's going to be even better than the first. The first change you'll notice is the four brand-new playable characters. The only one revealed so far was Salvador, the Gunzerker. Don't worry, you're still on [...More ]

Borderlands 2 - The Gunzerker Details

The original Borderlands was a huge hit. It was developed by Gearbox Software, and published by 2K Games. You ran around, collecting tons of loot(primarily guns), killing all kinds of enemies, and becoming much stronger along your journey. The game was great, but just the concept itself was perfect. You had four different characters to choose from, and each were their own, unique class. The gameplay changed heavily depending on what character you chose. Borderlands 2, an upcoming game from the same developer and publisher, will have multiple classes to choose from, but we happened to get details about one: The [...More ]

Duke Nukem Forever Demo With Borderlands GOTY Edition

Well the title pretty much told you all you need to know but I'll do my job anyway. 2K games has announced that when gamers buy the re-release of Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition they will receive a free code into the "Duke Nukem Forever Early Access Club". Borderlands GOTY Edition comes out October 12th but no word has come from 2K on when the demo will be available for download. But hey when it does you'll have early access to it. My only beef is that they're doing this with a re-release. What about all the people who [...More ]
