Dungeon Hunter 3 (iOS) [ Review ]

There are games that are really crossing the boundaries in genres and providing new gameplay experiences. Despite what most people may think of a certain genre, conventions aren't meant to stick throughout time, especially since time in the video game world passes by in warp speed. What Gameloft has done with the Dungeon Hunter series is flow with today's trend of breaking those walls and putting together the best gameplay elements of other genres into one. Dungeon Hunter 3 is no exception, and it stands now as a pretty good example of what this almost experimental approach can do. Much of [...More ]

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Walkthrough [ Guide ]

The world of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is treacherous, and it poses even more danger if you are a beginner in the game. Tokyo Game Show 2012: What to expect (Monster Hunter 4!)

The Tokyo Game Show is the Japanese equivalent of E3 in the United States, or Gamescom in Europe. It is a hugely important show, and it is traditionally the last of the major gaming shows of the year. N.O.V.A. 3 - Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance (iOS) [ Review ]

One of the things that make Gameloft one of the top mobile game developers in the world right now is their mix of ports and original titles that are both well made and great to look at. Dungeon Raid (iOS) [ Review ]

There have been quite a few puzzle games out there that are trying to reinvent the genre, although with little success. Perhaps it's due to the fixed mindset of the audience when it comes to how puzzles and other mentally challenging games are supposed to be. But when that mindset is then focused on what's fun and exciting, various gameplay elements that are not necessarily in the norm for that specific genre start to get matched up in a good way. Dungeon Raid by Fireflame Games is basically a match-three puzzle game with a bit of RPG seasoned on top. [...More ]
