Transformers: Fall of Cybertron [ Review ]You've got the touch!
I hated War for Cybertron. Everyone told me how awesome High Moon Studio's first Transformers game was, and how it paid brilliant homage to the 80s cartoon series. As a major fan of The Transformers, I came away from War for Cybertron bitter and disappointed when I discovered that it was a glorified Call of Duty clone with robots. Understandably, I went into Fall of Cybertron with a lot of skepticism, but came away incredibly impressed and wowed by High Moon's dedication to crafting their own well-rounded and faithful Transformers universe.

Transformers: War for Cybertron - First LookCheats: X360 NDS WII PC PS3
Sometimes it seems that video game spinoffs are developed half-heartedly, with those responsible for it's creation relying too heavily on the movie's popularity to drive sales of the game itself. Early signs suggest that Transformers: War for Cybertron is not just another one of them.
The two recent Transformers movies themselves received mixed reviews from industry critics and fans of the original Transformers from days gone by, but they still proved very successful in the box office. It has reignited the franchise however, and thankfully Transformers: War for Cybertron the video game appears to have been [ ...More ]

Why Fall is crucial for PlayStation VitaFor PlayStation Vita owners, this summer has seen a drought of games, exclusive, first-party, third-party or otherwise. Sales are not very well, and Sony is being destroyed by the competition. And all this even though the Vita has had one of the strongest launch in the history of video game systems, strengthened by high quality third-party ports and marked by entries in major first-party franchises, such as Uncharted: Golden Abyss.
New reports have surfaced showing that Sony is having problems attracting third-party support for the Vita. At last year's E3, multiple developers and publishers pledged allegiance to the Vita, but with [ ...More ]

Transformers: Dark of the Moon (iOS) [ Review ]Games based from movies usually don't deliver very well, but games based from movies that were based from cartoons really says a lot about stretching expectations. But for a movie game, Transformers: Dark of the Moon is quite alright for a quick fix. Perhaps expecting it to blow you away is a tad too optimistic, but it's alright for those who like some action every now and again.
The gameplay is simple enough as you can transition between robot and vehicle modes quite smoothly. If there are enemies about, you should be in robot mode. But if you are pressed on [ ...More ]

Fall Out New Vegas DLC Exclusive to 360A recent trend in gaming that I will never understand is the exclusive DLC stuff. Why would these companies not want to make money off all the other players on the other consoles, are Microsoft and Sony really giving them that much money to miss out on the potential sales? Anyway, Bethesda has confirmed that the first batch of DLC for Fallout New Vegas will be available exclusively on the Xbox 360 and will be released this holiday. Now most likely the DLC will eventually make its way to PSN but no word on whether or not it will yet.

REVIEW: Transformers War for Cyberton
If you grew up in the 1980's odds are Transformers has a special place in your heart, and even if you didn't, with the release of the Transformers movies many have taken an interest in these humanoid transforming robots. In fact, most of the Transformers video games (like most video games based on movie and television franchises) have been down right terrible. Transformers War for Cyberton looks to change that.
