| Use overweight AC Units Once you finish the entire game the first time and you see the credits, the next time you start a game using the final save (the one you make after the credits) you can buy equipment and parts that would normally make your mech overweight. You will then be able to use your overweight mech the next time you play. Now you can finally create the mech you've always wanted! Steal Your Enemy's Emblem In the single player Arena mode you can steal your defeated opponent's emblem. To do this you of course have to beat an opponent in the Arena, then once beaten you can go back to the opponent selection screen where everyone is ranked by number. Highlight and select someone you have defeated and then press START + SELECT and you should hear a sound. Press the two buttons again and again until you hear the sound. Once you hear the sound go to the Edit Emblem screen and the emblem selected will be the one you just took from your opponent. You can then edit it or just wear it as your own. Human Plus Human Plus is back. Just drop to -50000 credits and an experiment will be done on you. You need to do this multiple times to get the full benefit. warning, this will restart your game (except for the first mission) 1st time: Automatic Radar 2nd time: Ability To Throw The Laserblade 3rd time: Have Heat Taken Away From Attack 4th time: Ability To Walk While Shooting Back Weapons 5th time: Use Half Of The Energy 6th time: Double energy Note: to shoot the laserblade use it then immediately press the boost button. This will take some practice but is totally worth it. More Human Plus Human Plus Upgrades don't stop after the sixth time. Repeat the process for getting the upgrades as always. Between the seventh and ninth time, you will be able to throw your laser blade, but it will be a 3-way shot! Also, there will be a missile display added to your radar. How cool is that !! New Game Plus Cheats Lose the first mission intentionally (after the Raven test), and lose 50,000 credits or more to activate the "Plus" cheats. Now when you restart your game you'll begin with all of the items you collected during your first play through the game. Just repeat this to gain other abilities, such as an improved radar, and the ability to fire back-mounted weapons while running. Engage Limiter Release To engage the Limiter Release, press and hold R2 and L2, then press R3. Your energy gauge will not deplete over the next forty seconds. However, you will be unable to use any energy for 50 seconds afterwards. Great for a final surge at the end of a battle. Control Replay Camera Press CIRCLE during a replay to switch views. | ||

| # First person view While playing the game, hold Triangle + Square + Start. The game will pause. Press Start to resume the game with the new camera view. For the Japanese version of the game, hold Triangle + Square + Select. # Fixed camera view While playing the game, hold Circle + X + Start. The game will pause. Press Start to resume the game with the camera fixed at the pre-location. For the Japanese version of the game, hold Circle + X + Select. # Return to default view To return to the default view, pause the game, then press Start to resume the game. For the Japanese version of the game, press Select instead of Start. # Add defeated AC emblems When the victory message appears in the arena, press Select + Start to add the defeated AC's emblem to your list. # Steal Emblems If you see an emblem in the arena that you want to use, select the appropriate AC and press Triangle to display the spec screen. Then, press Start + Select. If you entered the code correctly, you will hear a sound. Select "Edit Emblem" to view it. # Temporary invincibility While playing the game, press L2 + R2 + R3. If you entered the code correctly, a "Limiter Released" system error message will appear, and you will have infinite energy during this time. After approximately one minute, the "OB Down" system error will appear. It will last as long as the previous error, but you will not have any energy. After "OB Down" is completed, your AC will recharge and return to normal. Make sure you finish off your enemy before you become vulnerable. # Plus cheats Intentionally lose the first mission after the Raven test, then die with -50,000 credits or less to activate the "Plus" cheats. The game will restart from the first level with all items gained in the previous game. Your pilot name will vanish from the "Pilot name" slot. The more times this is done, the more cheats you will unlock. Some examples are better radar (grid system that detects incoming missiles), fire projectiles from laser swords (press Circle, then quickly press X), cooling twice as fast, being able to fire rear weapons while in motion, and double available energy. # Overweight cores Successfully complete mission mode and allow the credits to complete to be able to have cores that are overweight.
