Make a lot of noise and a bunch of Walkers will come after you. Stand still and let them grab you. Then just keep completing the QTE. Aim the cursor at their head and press RT when it comes up on the screen to stab and kill them. If you're fast enough, you won't even take any damage.

You can get this one easily in the first mission of the game. Just play it stealthy and stay away from any zombies that you don't have to kill, and you'll be absolutely fine.

The first optional survivor you can find is Jimmy Blake, a policeman on the roof of a pharmacy. You have to retrieve batteries for him. Do this mission and he will join your group.

I got this one in the second mission. The best way to do this is by using the magnum found in the police station. Then go to the pool in the trailer park. The zombies will start funneling into the pool if you attract their attention, in a single file line. This makes it easy to line up headshots. Blow their heads off as they move into the pool and this is liable to pop up.

The first chance you can do this is after the second mission. You have to recruit Jimmy Blake by giving him batteries, and you have to finish the main mission to recruit Warren automatically. This will mean that you have to dismiss either Jimmy or Warren since you can't dismiss Jess. Pick one to give the boot to and this achievement will unlock.

Just go around executing Walkers. An easy way to execute them without sneaking up is to shove them, and then quickly run around behind them. "Execute" should appear. Press the button and then you'll successfully execute them.

Sometimes you will be given the opportunity to take a diversion and check out a side area to gather resources, such as fuel. These are entirely optional, and your chances of finding these areas depends on what roads you take to get to your destination. Go to one of these areas and then return to your car when you're ready to leave.

| Pulled a Bolt From a Walker Then Killed Them With It|
You get the crossbow in the Barksdale mission. Once you have it, shoot a Walker in the chest with it, but make sure you have a lot of space to move and that there aren't any other walkers around to make this easier. Grab the arrow back from the zombie, then kill them with it using a headshot.

This can be done with grenades or propane tanks. In the Polksville mission, you move through a trainyard and a lot of Walkers get on your case about halfway through the mission. You move through a train car with a propane tank and plenty of ammo. Just keep throwing the propane tank at the walker mass until they explode.

This is actually very easy to do in the first mission. Don't kill anyone when you're playing as Daryl's dad, just let the zombies kill him. Then when you have control of Daryl, just do your best to run by all the zombies in the mission, grabbing the fuel cans on the way, and then sprint to the truck.

Obviously, the fastest way to get this would to be to choose to ride the backroads every time, and then have to do a lot of fuel searching in-between the levels.

If you want your car to breakdown, take the highways. This is where it will have the highest chance to breakdown. From here, you will have to find something that is needed to fix the car and then return to the car.

You have to beat the game twice to get this one. First, beat the game by playing all the levels on the left. Then choose all the levels on the right. This will then pop up.

Optional Objectives pop up a lot in the game. Not every level has an optional objective to complete, but these stack for each time you go through the game. So, technically, you could find the batteries for Jimmy Blake in Mission 2 25 times and get the achievement.

| Arrived at Final Destination with Only Female Survivors|
Sherwood is the last time you can manage survivors. Basically, you have to get to the last level with only female characters on your survivor team. So, what you will need to do is, at this point, dismiss any male survivors on your team. Then during the Sherwood mission, save Jane instead of Harrison.

The easiest level to get this one is the first level in the game, especially if you start it with the crossbow. Beat the game once to earn the right to use the relic that allows you to start over with the crossbow. Then use the crossbow to kill every walker you see in the first level from afar, and you should very easily be able to beat this level.

Once again, it is easiest to complete this one if you do the first level. If you beat the game once, you can start back over on the first mission with the crossbow and assault rifle. Just use the assault rifle and mow through any zombies that get in your way.

This can be done conceivably on almost any map there is. You can't use the knife at all, so keep that in mind. Once again, it's easiest to do this in the first level by starting over with the ability to use the assault rifle and crossbow. Remember to pick up your bolts from the zombies after you kill them.

| Shot a Walker in the Knee with a Bolt|
I know this one is giving people some trouble. As soon as you get your crossbow, kill every zombie in the room except for one. Then just keep shooting the legs of the remaining zombie, aiming for his knee area. The game has a weird idea of what a "knee" is, but if you just fill him full of arrows, then you should be fine.

These are the weapons you need to get kills with in the game:

This achievement stacks, so you don't have to get a kill with each weapon in one playthrough.

| Explored 25 Unmarked Travel Locations|
You'll be asked to make stops at supply areas and such while playing the game. You can choose to ignore these diversions or complete them. Sometimes your vehicle will break down, and this counts as unmarked as well, or when you need to stop for fuel, so playing the survival game badly will actually result in more unmarked stops, which will build for this achievement.

| Killed 5 Walkers in the Cabot Ridge Creek Bed|
At the very beginning of the game, you play as Daryl's dad. You will find your buddy Buck being eaten by zombies. Then you can stand your ground and defend yourself against them. Kill at least five. This should be easily, because you start with seven bullets, and you can easily execute the two zombies munching on Buck's body.

| Dismember 250 Limbs|
This actually can take a lot longer than it sounds. Bullets are scarce in the game, and unless you have an axe or another strong melee weapon, dismembering zombies is next to impossible. The best way to dismember them is with a turret, but you only get to use a turret once, and that's at the very end of the game. Luckily, this achievement stacks.

Walkers grab you and the initiate a QTE where you have to put the cursor on their head and press RT before they can bite and damage you. Right before they are able to grab you, you have to quickly shove or shoot them.

Just keep sending your survivors out to die. Make them go look for supplies without giving them weapons, and make them do it alone. After a couple trips, it's highly likely that they won't be coming back.

| Dismember All Limbs of 5 Walkers|
Dismembering Walkers is tough to do, but it's actually easiest to get this achievement in the last level during the turret segment. Aim to take out their legs, then their arms, and then they will be rendered completely useless and effectively dead.

| Kill a Walker That Is Falling Due to Dismemberment|
Shoot out the legs of a Walker, and then shoot them in the head as they are falling. This is very tough to do, and is based almost purely on luck. You're most likely to get this one during the turret segment at the end of the game.

| Restore Survivors 25 Times|
As Survivors are sent out to scavenge for supplies and the like, their condition will deteriorate. The condition of a survivor is measured by a green meter at the top of the screen. You can choose to heal them with commercial MREs if you have any. Do this as you need to, and while you're hunting for the other achievements, it's likely that you'll get this one purely by accident.

MREs are the health sources in the game. Press "up" on the d-pad to equip them, and then press RT to consume them when your health is running low.
|Down to My Last (15G)||100%|
| Complete the Game with Only 1 Firearm and 1 Bullet left in Your Inventory.|
Talk about incredibly tricky. This one is about timing, unless you want to cheat the system. If you want to cheat the system, then this is what you need to do.
Pick a gun and waste all the ammo until there is only one bullet left. Then use your other guns to help you get to the turret segment at the end of the game. During the turret segment, drop every single gun except the one with one bullet. Then finish the turret segment and wa-lah!
| Shoot a Walker with 10 Bolts without Killing It|
This actually requires you to shoot the Walker with 10 bolts simultaneously, so you can't just keep pulling them out and then shooting the zombie again. You'll need to use the Relic to start over with the Crossbow so that you have more opportunities to stockpile bolts. Save all the bolts you can and then when you have 10, find a lone zombie and just start filling it with the bolts. Make sure not to hit it in the head, otherwise it will die.

As soon as you are about to leave for Sherwood, dump any survivors you have with you.

| 10 Walkers Killed with Saw Blades in the Logging Camp|
In the sawmill level, there is a conveyor belt with a bunch of blades and zombies all over the place. Throw distraction items on the conveyor belt like flares or glass bottles to trick the zombies into stepping into the blades. Another way you can do this, but it's much harder, is to shove the zombies onto the conveyor belt and into the blades yourself.
|How to unlock every Relic||100%|
| After beating the game, you unlock the right to use Relics. Relics are unlocked based on what survivors are with you at the end of the game, and for completing other tasks. These are the Relics you can unlock. Keep in mind that you can only have one Relic equipped at a time upon starting a new game.|
Bigger Clips - Complete the game once with Mia in your party.
Crossbow/Assault Rifle at the beginning of the game - Complete the game once.
Faster Stronger - Completed the game once with Sheila in your party.
Item Boost - Complete the game once with Swenson in your party.
Marksman Boost - Complete the game once with Harrison in your party.
Melee Boost - Complete the game once with Jane in your party.
Silenced Weapons - Complete the game once with Blake in your party.

| Distracted 50 Walkers with Items|
Distraction items include glass bottles and flares. There are also environmental objects that can be activated to attract the attention of the zombies. In Taggart, you can turn on the projection at the drive-in to distract a bunch of zombies at once, and in the home of Charlene, there are a couple of radios that can be turned on to distract zombies as well.
