Duke Nukem Forever Demo With Borderlands GOTY EditionWell the title pretty much told you all you need to know but I'll do my job anyway. 2K games has announced that when gamers buy the re-release of Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition they will receive a free code into the "Duke Nukem Forever Early Access Club". Duke Nukem Forever Has a Release Date, Kind OfKotaku has reported that Duke Nukem Forever is listed right now for a Feburary 1 release date. The game that was never to be actually appears to be well... really coming. It was announced last month that Gearbox is taking over the finishing touches on the game before its release. Now while its nice that this white unicorn-of-a-game has a release date, thus appearing that it is real, Gearbox has announced that the release date is only a "placeholder." Duke Nukem Forever IS REALTo many the Holy Grail of gaming has been Duke Nukem Forever. This game has been confirmed, rumored, shut down, caused lawsuits and every other rumor that could be formulated. Well this weekend at PAX we actually got some real info from the source. Gearbox Software confirmed that after 13 years of development the game is complete. The game is slated for release in 2011 on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. The game will feature a single-player campaign and a competitive multiplayer mode.
"We wont let the Duke die," Studio President Randy Pitchford said.
