Below you will find cheats for C & C Red Alert. There are two main sections. The first cheat section is for verified cheats or those that have been rated high. On the MAIN MENU go to multiplayer on the next screen click skirmish, then on the upper left hand corner there are colors pick any color and pick a country, (the list is to the right of the colors) then in the bottom left hand corner click OK - Open REDALERT.MIX in the game folder using wordpad or a text editor that could open a file this big. Search for "rules.ini". Once you located it highlight all the way down until you find the developers names. Copy the selection and then paste it into a new file called "Rules.ini". Now you could edit all the attributes of the game. WARNING: Unless you know what you're doing DON'T try this.
On the MAIN MENU of Red Alert, hold down the left shift and left-click on the speaker on the right hand corner. You will begin a campaign against huge man-eating ants!
This cheat will give you flame tanks and napalm bombers and homer simpson instead of soldiers in the 5th mission. 1. Start a new game and chose sovjet. 2. in the 1st mission, write napalm 15 times while you are playing. 3. in the 2nd mission, build 15 barracks and blow them all. 4. in the 3rd mission, save your game as homer 15 times. 5. just complete the 4th mission. now if you have done everything right you will be able to build this units.
Engineer Capture Bug: When playing against more then 2 players, (AI or human, no difference) You can cancel a hostile engineer attack. Simply ally with the engineer right before he enters your building. Instead of damaging or capturing it, he'll fully repair it instead!
Build a cruiser and a transport. Group them together and make a formation out of them. The cruiser is moving at transport speed!
Type in XPEINA518 when the game is loading and this will start you off with 20 medium tanks
Type in "iamarichboy" to get 20,000 credits.
Although a Tesla Coil's construction placement occupies only one map square, it's height makes it occupy 2 squares actually. So, the Tesla Coil will gain a longer firing range when firing north and loss its firing range by one map square. You should be able to destroy it from south with a destroyer, V2 launcher or your Tesla Coil without losses, but if you only command them to fire at their maximum range.
For Windows 95 only! type 5555555 to repair all your units to full health. note: this will only work if you have a medic
First, select a tank that is lethally damaged. Now, place it on the service depot. Now, when you hear the word 'repairing' immediately get it out. When it's out get it in again. It will repair 10 times as fast and will not cost as much... Also, you have to get it out again when it's repaired or you will be paying as if you didn't cheat...
Here is how to throw grenades across the map: Move a grenadier or a group away from any of your units or buildings. Force fire (ctrl + left click) a couple spaces in front of your grenadier and he will start throwing them. When you see their arms go back to throw quickly click on the space were you want to throw the grenade. It takes practice be patient and work on it.
In Skirmish, press F10 + g, then type westwood, then type holy. All of your men will be invincible.
When playing as the Soviets, use a Yuri to mind control a school bus. Load five infantry units into the bus and drive it inside an enemy base. The Allies will not fire on the bus.
OK this cheat is very very hard a few people have told me they did it. This cheat below will give you 25 light tanks 2 mcvs 25 mini gunners 15 rocket men, you can only do this once a game. Go to your game click on any tank then hold down shift and type tanksforever then click on an infantry and hold down shift and type gunsforever. then you will here a beep then your men will come. Note all must be done in at least 2sec so make sure you are a fast typer!!!
