Devil May Cry 2 PS2 Cheat List

Win the game with both Dante and Lucia to unlock Bloody Palace Mode. Bloody good!
Win the game on any difficulty to unlock Dante's 1st costume/outfit, and beat it on Dante Must Die Mode to unlock his second.
Win the game on any difficulty to unlock Lucia's 1st costume/outfit, and beat it on Hard Mode (with Lucia) to unlock her second. Win the game on Lucia Must Die Mode to unlock the 3rd costume.
To unlock Dante Must Die Mode, win the game on Hard with Dante.
To unlock Lucia Must Die Mode, win the game on Hard with Lucia.
To unlock mission select, win the game once with either Lucia or Dante.
To unlock Trish, win the game on Hard with Dante.
You can use the Flame Heart amulet to heal! Once you get it in Mission 7 (Dante), equip it, turn on Devil Trigger (L1), and go stand in some lava. Voila! Instant health.
*** There are weapons that you will not probably encounter unless you look for them thoroughly.
Handguns: Available at start.
Shotgun: Kill the serpent in mission 4. You will get it after the intermission sequence with Dante riding a motorcycle.
Submachine guns: Found in mission 12, where you fight Bolverk, Freki, and Geri the 1st time. When you have to jump those platforms, find one that has a fading color, or floor. Keep hopping and walking on corridors (platforms on the wall) until there is an object to smash to get Red Orbs. Continue down to get the submachine guns.
Missile launcher: Destroy the boxes on the airplane where you have to escape from the power plant.
Rebellion: Available at start.
Merciless: Rather than doing the difficult parts in mission 12, wait for the mission where you have to fight Phantom. You will find it when you are near a blue smashing platform.
Vendetta: The strongest sword is located in mission 9, in the room where the train gate on the right is located (without the Red Orb on the track). Go in the room, look for a skeleton with a Vendetta plunged through its heart, and grab the swords.
Hint: Bloody Palace mode: Get to Bosses faster:You must 1st understand the different level warps. The plain circle is one level up, the middle warp is 10 levels up, and last is the green portal, which is one hundred levels up . Go through 10 levels of the level one warps. After the tenth level go to the middle warp (level 20). Complete this level and go to the green warp. You should be facing all Bosses from then on. However, there is a flaw with normal leveling. Your bonus is much higher than what it would be. At most, you will only get around a 2 or 3 thousand bonus Red Orbs.
