When you start the game you will fight sum1. After you defeat them, save your game. Go to free battle and battle all you want to receive 5 Starchips. Keep doing this until you have as many Starchips as needed.



Have #374 Gate Guardian, #667 Gate Guardian Ritual, #371 Sanga Of The Thunder, #372 Kazejin, and #373 Suijin in your deck. Put them in your field, then put the ritual card.



NEED 2 MEMORY CARDS!!! if you need better cards, just put in the memory card that doesnt have the game you want to save on it. go to new game and put in a name (differant names gets you differant cards) when it says to, then save. put the memory card with the game on it that you want to keep in slot 1, and put the one you just saved on, in slot 2. now go to MAIN MENU, then go to trade, and load. trade weak cards from memory card 1, to memory card 2 and get whatever cards you want that memory card 2 has!!! (i got 2 Reagekais, it destroys all of your opponents monsters!!!)

Play in campain until you reach Shadi.Defeat Shadi and she will probably give you a rare card.Also if you defeat Bandit Kieth,he will probably give an EXODIA part.I got his right arm.Go to free duel and duel Shadi and Kieth to get rare cards.

Once you have defeated the Meadow Mage in campaign mode, duel him in free duel mode. He gives you some very good cards after some time, such as Meteor B. Dragon (3500/2000), Dark Magicians, Curse or Dragon, Giaia The Fierce Knight, Crimson Sunbird, and others.

Hint: Fighting Simon Muran:
At the beginning of the game, Simon talks to you. You will have options to listen or run away. This is what he will do on each condition:

Run Away: When you return, you will go straight to your room.
Listen, Run Away: When you return, you will have a chance to duel with Simon Muran.
Listen, Listen, Run Away: When you return, you will go straight to your room.
Listen, Listen, Listen: You will go straight to your room.



Whenever you see the word "Guardian Star", pay attention to its color.

Yellow: Your attack and defense goes up.
Red: Opponent's attack and defense goes up.
Gray: Neither goes up.

If you want to get as many cards and whatever cards you want get 999,999 star chips and go to passwords and buy it then save the game get 3 memory cars for PS1 or PS2 2 must have a different saved game then the one with the new cars and none can have the same duelist coad name the memory cards A B C A is the mem.card with the new purchased card put mem.cards A,B in slots 1 and 2 select trade. trade the purchased card to mem card B exit trade Take A out and put B in trade the purchased card from B to C then exit trade again take out B put in A trade the new card back to A and you will have used no starchips.[Note you can do this as many times as you want with the same cards.



It's really easy to make a Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon once you mastered it. All you need to do is:
Once you got a dragon type, a machine type, and a thunder type in your hand, combine them in this order: Dragon + Machine + Thunder = Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon. But, if your dragon has the attack power more than 1600, you just need to combine a thunder type with it.

To find Kuriboh packing cards, lose a battle in campaign mode. When you get to the "Game Over" screen wait until a Kuriboh with cards on its back will hop across the screen. Once it gets across, it will return again. It will repeat this until you exit the "Game Over" screen.



This trick requires 3 memory cards. Memory cards A and B should have your main game save. Memory card C should just be any game with a different name than your normal game. Put memory card B in slot one and memory card C in slot two. Load your game, buy your desired cards, then save and back out to the main screen. Now, go to "Trade" and trade all the cards to memory card B. Insert memory card A into slot one and trade the cards back from C to A. You have now purchased cards and gotten them for free.



After you win, go Right, Right, Left, Right.
