From the Title Screen, press L, Select, A, Select, R, A, L, Select. Press Select, R, and L to scroll through the levels. Select a level, then press Left to highlight the Start-option with the boomerang.

Quickly and repeatedly press Start at the continue screen until the remaining number of continues increases to nine.

Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure re-unites gamers with the adventure-seeking jungle explorer, Pitfall Harry, Jr. In this lead role, players delve deep into the South American rainforests in pursuit of intrigue, adventure and the golden treasure. Harry Jr. must defeat ferocious crocodiles, deadly jaguars, possessed rain forest animals, killer skeletons and wicked warriors throughout a mission to rescue his father from evil spirits holding him captive in the mysterious Mayan world. In the classic game play style of Pitfall, players must swing on vines, hop over pits and leap over crocodile heads, as well as bungee-jump, boomerang and mine car their way to safety.
