Kroop's trouble and he'll give you a Turtley leaf. If you ever need more, simply
go in front of his house and behind the front fence and there'll be 3 bushs.
Rattle each one and one of them should give out one. The bush that gives out the
leaves always change and when you get one, you have to go off screen first and
then come back. Quite handy if you want all the recipes.

Make sure that you have 60 HP, 60 FP, and 30 BP. When you fight her
just as Peach use Vivian as your partner. Then. use the spinning
jump and Vivian's Shade Fist until the Shadow Qween turns into her
other form. Then switch to Koops. Use his power shell to attack the
hands and the body. Now, use the Power Smash badge. Also, when she
adds 7 more to her next attack, use either Koops' Shell Shield or
Vivians Veil. Make sure both Koops' and Vivian's level is at the
highest. Repeat this and you should be able to win. Do not forget to
heal and make sure you have a lot of Life Shrooms.
Once you've gotten to PetalBurg in the First Chapter you can use a trick to make
easy money. First go to RougePort and buy as many sleepy sheep as you can carry,
making sure to fill up your storage box aswell. When your pockets and storage
box is full, head over to PetalBurg. Once at Petalburg, go into the Item Shop to
sell your sleepy sheep for a 2 coin profit per sheep. Make sure you remember to
withdraw and sell all the sleepy sheep you stored. To increase productivity, on
the way back to rougueport, stock up on turtley leaves, again filling up the
storage box, and sell them at the item shop where you picked up the sleepy sheep
to gain 2 coins per leaf.
Hint: After getting Taste T. you can cook the leaves into koopa tea for an extra
1 coin per leaf.
When you get into the Glitz Pit, fight until you are near rank 7 or
8. You should now be fighting "the fuzz". Kill the black Fuzzie that
has 3 HP then kill the Flower Fuzzy (pinky). Next, keep the green
one near 1 HP remaining. He will split in two. Kill one of them
(always leave one alive). It also helps when you have Koops out for
a partner. Just leave Mario in front and Koops in back and use his
Shell Shield (new attack when you upgrade him). Every time that it
breaks, put a new one on. It helps to have some Happy Heart or Happy
Flower badges equipped. Keep doing this and you can get 50 Star
points in about five minutes.
There are 3 extra cloths Mario can wear, his only changes marios clothing color,
not his physical appearance.
If you collect the W Emblem badge from Charlieton, the traveling salesman,
equip it to change into Wario's clothes.
If you collect the L Emblem badge from Poshley Sanctum, equip it to change
into Luigi's clothes.
Equip both the W and L Emblem badges to change into Waluigi's Clothes.

use Wario's Costume. Equipping the L Emblem will make Mario use Luigi's

Waluigi's costume, but it's a rumor, so don't get mad if it DOESN'T work.
Go to Profesor Frankly's office and press the big green button (A) at his

First you will have to have given Zest T. her new contact lense. Then buy a lot
of mushrooms at the shop in RoguePort for 5 coins each. Then cook them all into
Shroom Frys at Zest T.'s. You can sell the Shroom Frys back for 5 coins, the
same price you paid for the mushrooms. Using this you can gain free shop points.
Note: This trick only works once you have Zest T.
To get Luigi's clothes, go to where you get the sixth crystal star.
From here, do a spring jump up to a pole on the left side. Do
another spring jump to reach a ledge with the Luigi Emblem.
In story mode, you will get six characters (Goombella, Koops, Madame
Flurrie, Yoshi, Vivian, and Admiral Bobbery). However after Chapter
4, go to the Trouble Center and take the chore of the mystery
person. You will figure out that it is the mouse thief and when the
mission is over you get the partner Ms. Mowz.
In the shadow palace you will eventually run into a hallway with 4 doors and
many stairs. This is a maze. All of the rooms look the same except for one
thing: the torches. Follow the position of the flame (and the door nearby) to
get through the maze.
Directly after a hammer attack, or at the highest point after a jump attack, tap
A again and Mario will do a stylish trick earning him more star points. This
works for his allies as well. Tap A directly after doing Koops shell throw and
he will spin on his back earning more style.
The big ship you see there has pulleys and chains. Well, back in the old days
during pirate time, Captains would keelhaul shipmates by tying them to pulleys
and lowering them in the water. Thus, leading the pulleys to the other side of
the ship, scraping the shipmates on the bottom of the ship. Many pirates died
from lack of air and injuries back then. That is why the name is Keelhaul!
Torturous don't you think!
To get help on landing those Stylish moves, get the badge called "Time Tutor" or
"Timing Tutor" or something similar to that. With that badge equipped, when you
are in battle, if there is an opportunity to add a little Style to your attacks
and moves, a little "!" speech bubble will appear above your character at the
moment you should press the A Button.
Equip both the Luigi Emblem and the Wario Emblem at the same time.
Your clothes will be exactly like Waluigi's.
To get Wario's clothes for Mario, go to the central area of
Rougeport with 360 Coins. There should be a merchant with a large
mustache. He sells something called a Wario Emblem from time to
time. It is a badge that requires no badge points to wear.
In chapter 5 on Keelhaul Key, walk to the northwest of the camp. Talk to the
mole and hit him with your hammer he will leave behind a bump, get the bump. You
can leave the area and go back there again to repeat this. Or, after you finish
the pirate’s grotto you can enter the grotto through the hole in the mountain
and exit, then whack the mole again and again. This way is a lot faster. You can
sell them in different places for different profit.
The shop in the Rougeport plaza - 55 coins.
The shop next to Pianta Parlor - 64 coins
Excess Express - 100 coins
Every other shop will only give you 50 coins.
You can skip atomic boo then come back for him later
If you have zap tap on, enemies like fuzzies and swoopulas can’t hurt you.
To get information that you need to pay for eg. how to get to don pianta,
stories, old wonkey. You can save, then listen to them, then reset to keep
your cash.
You can’t have more than 999 coins.
You will have to have given Zest T. her new contact lense first. Then buy a several mushrooms at the shop in RoguePort. They are 5 coins each. Then cook them all into Shroom Frys at Zest T.'s. You can sell the Shroom Frys back for 5 coins, the same price you paid for the mushrooms. Using this you can gain free shop points. Note: This trick only works once you have Zest T.
In the lottery at Rogueport if you change your game cube clock to the next day
you can cheat the lottery. The second time however you are fined 500 coins for
cheating.
Missed any Tattle Logs, particularly boss logs? They are not gone for good.
Check Professor Frankly's yellow trash can. You will find Tattle Logs thrown
away for bosses and other once-only enemies. The log will only appear in the
trash once you've gone past the last possible point to Tattle that enemy.

Take the trouble center quest that is given by a person marked as “???”. Talk to Ms Mowz above the item shop. She'll ask for an elusive badge in Hooktails castle. Go to Hooktails castle to where you fought Hooktail and walk around until a ! appears over you and blow with Madame Flurrie to get the badge. Once you get the badge, go back on top of the cook’s shop and the mouse thief will join your team.
On one of the floors of Shwonk Fortress, you'll find a representation of the
'needle ceiling' puzzle in Hooktail's Castle. The purple areas are where Mario
can walk after the needles have lifted from the floor.
You can meet or hear about five characters that were in the first Paper Mario game on the N64. To hear about these characters, witness or do the following: listen to the letter that Koops reads off in Hooktails Castle, talk to Koops’ father, read Lumpy’s journal, and talk to the Boo at Podley Heights after beating the game.

In X-Naut Fortress, go in to the ventilation shaft in sublevel 2 and drop
through the far right vent in to the dressing room. Open the curtain of the
stall you fall in to and Mario and all his partners will become 8-bit (they will
look as they would on an 8-bit system like the NES) until you leave the room.
Entering the room the normal way via the door and going in to this stall,
closing the curtain, and opening it again will not work.
Get both the W emblem and L emblem and put them on, Mario's hat and shirt will
be purple and his overalls will be purple, just like Waluigi.
When you are doing Peach's part you can go left of her bedroom and take a shower and her hair style will be different. NOTE: when you leave the room her hair will be back to normal.
If you use an FP-Consuming attack outside of battle(Such as a Spin jump) and get
a first strike, you will use that move automatically in battle without using any
FP at all.
If you make a Poison Shroom from Zess T. (a Slow Shroom and an Inky Sauce), the
effect will poison you. If you have the Feeling Fine badge on, however, it may
do one of 2 things:
1) Heal you to max
2) Cut your HP in half
Be wary when doing this.
At the start of the game, you will get robbed by a blue bandit on the west side of town. He will steal half of your coins. After this happens, all may seem lost, but it’s not. Head back to the town square and into the back alley adjacent to it. Make a right and go through the door, and you will find the blue bandit. Simply by speaking to him, he will return what he stole from you.
Location: In The Great Tree in Boggly Woods, there is a Secret Shop.
To find this shop, go into the room that has a Hard to get Badge. Pretty much it's out of reach. Plus, the room should have 2 Piders in it. Anyways, drop down below and head to the far left, near the Save Block. At the Wall, use Flurrie's Wind Blow Ability to blow away a Piece of Paper, covering the Entrance. Now enter. The Shop contains Regular Mushrooms for 3 Coins, Honey Syrups for 5 Coins, HP Drains for 10 Coins, Mysteries for 3 Coins, Mini Mr. Minis for 8 Coins, and Ice Stroms for 15 Coins.
Also, just to cheer you up, I think this only happens in Chapter 2, but, when you're in the Shop, go behind the two Stumps in the Lower Left corner of the Shop and you'll meet Jabble, Punio's Lost Friend, the Jabbie. If you don't hurt him, he'll join your Party . Sorry to disappoint you, but he's not a Partner. But I think he fights against the Jabbies for
you with the other Punies. And he doesn't even count in your Group (What I mean is that you'll have 101 Punies total in the Game. But, when Jabble joins, it'll still be 101. Not 102.) Get it? Ok.
In the shadow palace you will run into a hallway with 4 doors and several stairs like a maze. All of the rooms look the same except for the torches. Follow the position of the flame (and the door nearby) to get through the maze.
As Princess Peach (this can be done anytime you can take control of her), go to
the room left of your bedroom and go up to the shower. When an exclemation Mark
appears press A and Peach will take a shower! After she comes out she will also
have changed her hair style

After the demon you can easilly get 40 star points. Go to Twilight Trail, in the forest. Make sure you have very powerful jump power, enough to inflict at least 15 damage per jump. Have someone like Flurrie upgraded fully as well. You will need Bobbery to be able to upgrade anyone twice. He blows up a wall in Hooktail Castle which leads to an up arrow, which you take to Merlin and he can then upgrade partners twice. You also need to be able to make 20 damage in one turn (regardless if you have a partner or no partner).
Either way, you are fighting a Crayzee Dayzee. If a gold one appears at the back, do a spring jump on it. Try do the same. If you defeat the gold enemy (the Amayzee Dayzee), you earn 40 star points! If no Amayzee Dayzees appear, go through the slot thing part and fight the next Crayzee Dayzee.
If none appear, then go to the next place, and fight that one. Keep going back and forth between those enemies and eventually you will be able to find an Amayzee Dayzee. If you find one and beat it, then move on to the next one. I must warn you that Amayzee Dayzees not only hit hard, but they also run away as its first chance.
Directly after a hammer attack, or at the highest point after a jump attack, tap A again and Mario will do a stylish trick earning him more star points. This works for his allies as well. Tap A directly after doing Koops shell throw and he will spin on his back earning more style.
When you get an important e-mail (ie; the e-mails from Princess Peach), wait a
couple of seconds and you will hear music from Super Mario World.
Mario called "Jumpman" by bystander
In Glitzville, when you make a "comeback" after you beat Rawk Hawk the first
time and fight your way to the finals, one of the spectators will, instead of
cheering "Gonzales", or something to that effect, will cheer "Jumpman! I mean,
who?" Jumpman was the original name for Mario before he was called Mario, IE
back in the days of Donkey Kong Arcade.
The big ship you see there has pulleys and chains. Well, back in the old days during pirate time, Captains would keelhaul shipmates by tying them to pulleys and lowering them in the water. Thus, leading the pulleys to the other side of the ship, scraping the shipmates on the bottom of the ship. Many pirates died from lack of air and injuries back then. That is why the name is Keelhaul! Torturous don't you think!

When you go to keelhaul key, go left out of the village. Go up as far as you

untill your inventory is full. When it is, go to the shop and sell them. You
will recieve 50 coins for each whacka-bump. This will only work a certain number

In the game, there are two Emblem badges. They are the W Emblem, and the L
Emblem. Finding these badges is tough. Equipping the W Emblem will make Mario
use Wario's Costume. Equipping the L Emblem will make Mario use Luigi's
Costume.During Chapter 4, Charlieton (The BIG guy in Rogueport Plaza, South of
the cook's house.) will sell the W Emblem for 360 coins.
It is rumored that equipping the W and L Emblems at the same time will unlock
Waluigi's costume, but it's a rumor, so don't get mad if it DOESN'T work.
Go to Profesor Frankly's office and press the big green button (A) at his
garbage and info about a random enemy and is transferred to your tattle log.
Once you've gotten to PetalBurg in the First Chapter you can use a trick to make easy money. First go to RougePort and buy as many sleepy sheep as you can carry, making sure to fill up your storage box aswell. When your pockets and storage box is full, head over to PetalBurg. Once at Petalburg, go into the Item Shop to sell your sleepy sheep for a 2 coin profit per sheep. Make sure you remember to withdraw and sell all the sleepy sheep you stored. To increase productivity, on the way back to rougueport, stock up on turtley leaves, again filling up the storage box, and sell them at the item shop where you picked up the sleepy sheep to gain 2 coins per leaf.
Hint: After getting Taste T. you can cook the leaves into koopa tea for an extra 1 coin per leaf.

Just like in the 1st Paper Mario, there is an easter egg to revert Mario from paper to 8-bit sprite. Only this time it works on your partners too! In the X-Naut Base in Chapter Seven. Find the room with the swinging grate on Sublevel 2. Stand under it and use your Ultra Jump to jump up into the air vent. Press R and slide through the grate on the far right. You'll land in the changing room where Peach disguised herself, inside one of the stalls. When you pull back the curtain, you and your partner will be a sprite. This change does not affect game play and will wear off when you leave the room.

When you go to keelhaul key, go left out of the village. Go up as far as you
can. A mole will pop up out of the ground. Hit the mole with the hammer and you
will recieve a whacka-bump. Exit the area, then hit him again. Repeat this
untill your inventory is full. When it is, go to the shop and sell them. You
will recieve 50 coins for each whacka-bump. This will only work a certain number
of times.
