Complete the game with all nine Life Upgrades.


Only have your primary weapon. Find a low level enemy (for example, Raiders, Blade Dancers, etc.). Run towards them and press Y to jump over and grab them. Once you have grabbed one, press X rapidly until the Prince steals its weapon and cuts its head off. If the Prince cut it in half, just find someone else. When you see blood appear,
pause game play. Remain idle, and the blood will keep gushing.

Go to the Garden (Present). Make your way to location of the Dahaka chase #3 intermission sequence, when he annihilates Ravenman and he throws the Prince against the wall. Go to the same exact platform where Dahaka threw the Prince at during chase #3. From this platform you had to do a wall run to grab the ladder at your left. Once you are on that same platform, hang down from it. Try to jump to the platform with the pole sticking out (parallel to the ladder). Once you jump towards it, notice that the platform will become invisible and that you will land on the ground. Try to walk around the environment. As soon as you try to take a step, you will instantly die as if you fell from a platform.





When you reach the portal room for the second time, when you have to switch the time to the present for the first time, the Prince will say that something is wrong. You must run the switches on the wall to make the portal work correctly. Do not run the switches on the wall. Instead, enter the portal as it is and you will switch the
time to the present. Save the game, then exit and load the game. You will now be playing as the maggot man. In this mode you will constantly lose life and much more health when hit than in normal mode. However your attacks will be very powerful and you are much more quicker. Note: Save the game on a different file if you wish to continue the game as the Prince.


When going towards the third life upgrade after you obtain the Serpent Sword, the door that leads to the hallway has a waterfall. When walking through it, the Prince will become invisible. For the strangest results, walk slowly back and forth through the waterfall. Sometimes only the Prince's hair and sword will be visible. When
this happens, walk slowly and his hair and sword will sink through the ground and disappear. After you get the upgrade, if you look through the waterfall everything will be black until you walk past it.


Block and do the attack were you jump behind her, and attack her twice. Remember to block immediately after this or she will hit you down.

There are two weak walls on the left and the right. Go to the right one first. You will see a weak wall. Stand by it and look at the troll. When you
see the troll throw those dogs, get out of the way. Look in the hole and you will see a water fountain. If you are running low on health and want to save a game, go right first. Do the same exploding tactic with the troll.


1 (Past): After fighting the girl in black a second time, pull the large altar on ground level of the sacrificial chamber to reveal a secret door. Go through the trapped hallway and get the first Life Upgrade.
2 (Past): This is done after Slow Time is earned. From the room where the Prince has an intermission sequence with the maggot man creature, go into the large courtyard-like room with a timed floor switch next to some stairs. This switch opens a low gate at the top of the same set of stairs. Go through that trapped hallway for
the second Life Upgrade.
Note: To obtain the second Life Upgrade without getting the power that slows time, you must find the switch behind the barrels.
Press the switch and wall ride up the wall, instead of running up the stairs roll. If done correctly, you should make it a moment before the door closes.

Note: Use the following trick to get the second Life Upgrade very early. When you first travel into the past after the intermission sequence of the Prince following the girl in black and she kicks you in the face and runs off, go back out of the hallways as usual. However, retrace your step leading up to this (the first fight with the crow Boss). Run up the wall then get up on the ledge. Wall run up the second wall as before. Now everything is intact. You should reach a set of stairs. There are three barrels on the right-hand side of the staircase that hides a pressure switch. Walk onto the switch then run to the side of the staircase. The Prince will hop the railing and start to roll up the stairs. As soon as you can, roll all the way up them to a
small hole in the wall at the top. Once inside there are several set of spike traps, rock pillars, and timed swinging swords. Make your way to the end of this hall to get the very first Life Upgrade and deactivate all the traps. Run back to the hole you
rolled through and there is a another pressure switch on your left. Wall run to press this switch and open the hole. Roll back out then make your way back down the hallway below and the fountain to save.

3 (Past): This is done after the Serpent Sword is earned. Rotate the turnstile switch directly opposite the facing of the metal nub where the Serpent Sword was used to create platforms to a door at the bottom of the chasm. Use long wall jumping to slow the Prince's descent down to the level of the door. Past that door is
a trapped hallway that leads to the third Life Upgrade.
4 (Past): When exploring the Garden Tower, look for a room that is overgrown with vegetation and is directly below a box and folding bridge puzzle. It is in the same vicinity as the first switch that turns on the water for the Garden Tower. A break in the fencing allows the Prince to drop off and use ledges to access a door underneath the overgrown vegetation room. The fourth Life Upgrade is past that trapped hallway.
5 (Past): When exploring the Garden Tower's second water puzzle, ledge up after turning on the water (but before exiting the room with the turn switch) for the fifth Life Upgrade.
6 (Past): When exploring the Clock Tower, look the giant Golem enemy that throws explosives. One breakable wall is a save point, but there is a second breakable wall on the other end of the room leads to the sixth Life Upgrade.
7 (Past): After gaining the Scorpion Sword and a particularly tough giant Golem encounter, a ladder leads the Prince to a Roman courtyard room. Two breakable walls are here -- one has a switch, and the other has the door which requires Slow Time to access. The seventh Life Upgrade is past that door.
8 (Past): After entering the Library, the Prince will need to pull
out two bookcases to continue his progress. Look for two circular ledge/beam structures (one of which will have a Ninja) after dealing with the bookcases. One of the circular ledge/beam structures leads to a wall with three levels of ledges that may be climbed/sidled. This is a detour to the eighth Life Upgrade.
9 (Past): There is a location near the beginning where you chased Shadee (girl in black) and a door shut behind her. You then have to go up a set of platforms to finally reach the switch atop the room, just before sacrificial pit. Go back there when you get a sword that can break walls. Make your way back up this room. Look
carefully when on the top platforms. There should be a set of metal bars in one of the wall that seem damaged. There is a crate behind those bars. Break the metal bars with your sword. Bring the crate onto the platform and look up. You can use the crate to access a passage in the roof to reach the ninth Life Upgrade.


One of the miscellaneous secondary weapons is the teddy bear. Locate it after earning the Scorpion Sword in the clock (west) tower. There are three encounters with a giant golem enemy in the clock tower when you initially go through it. The first is before you start negotiating the vertical climbing of the tower (past); the second is
atop the clock tower (past); and the third is stationary and throws exploding monsters in the clock tower's second area (past). Look for the room where the second giant golem enemy is found. You need to be in the present (find a time portal) and drop into the water-filled dead end past the golem's room. Break the wall and retrieve the teddy bear. The teddy bear is almost unbreakable and does almost no damage, but has the ability to restore lost life to the Prince with each successful blow on an enemy.



After you obtain the Scorpion sword find your way back to the central room. Turn the turnstile so that the lever is facing the doorway with the save point fountain. Stand facing the opposite doorway and walk up a bit and to the right. You will find a ledge that is one step lower than the area around you. Walk down and grab on to it. Jump to the opposite ledge and jump back and forth to slowly make your way down. Once you reach the bottom drop down to the ledge below it. Wall run to the next wall and get ready to jump off and back and forth to make your way up. Wall run again and when you reach the end wall jump to slow your descent once more, you'll eventually grab onto a ledge. Make your way to the doorway that is next to it, but DON'T GO IN. Instead keep going on the rocks until you see the area where sand is falling. With the scorpion sword in hand break the wall. Break the rack of weapons and pick up the hockey stick.

As with all special weapons the hockey stick is unbreakable, but if you throw it you lose it for good. It has moderate damage and a relatively slow attack rate.


If you missed the life upgrade that is in the Clock Tower (in the room where you are getting Spike Beasts thrown at you), you can still get the upgrade later in the game by using the Scorpion Sword. After you get the sword and leave the library, you will break through a wall which leads into the Clock Tower. Instead of heading down towards the central chamber, head up and you will eventually reach the room where the Brute was throwing Spike Beasts at you. It doesn't throw them anymore but you can now break the wall on the left by using the Scorpion Sword.


The light sword is the most powerful secondary weapon in the game. When in the mystic caves you come upon a door that you must unlock via switch. Directly after that door there is a drop in the floor. Drop down and break the left wall and break the rack to pick up the light sword. As with all secondary weapons it is unbreakable, but if you throw it you lose it for good. The light sword has maximum damage and maximum attack rate.


On the ship where the game starts, look at the weapon that your dead shipmates have dropped (the humans, not monsters). Most of them should be the sword you started with Prince Of Persia: Sands Of Time.


In the big room with the hanging gardens and the four levers that have to be activated in order to move on the first time you enter: later in the game you will find a way to the top floor. You will be chased there by the Dahaka in the present. As usual he will chase you all the way to a time-portal. As you're wall-running through the center-aisle leading to the hallway to the time-portal (trust me, when you get there you won't have any other places to go, you'll know what I'm talking about), notice how the camera turns in front of you and shows the Dahaka get angry and smash a wall. Once you have made it to the time-portal, don't go back to the past, but return to the center-aisle and the wall the Dahaka smashed. You can now jump straight through it. Activate the switch to get the big brick out. Use the brick to get on top of the rail above. Use the rail and continue to the wall to the right. Drop down when you reach that little spot with those ninjas and those transparent Blade Dancers. After you've beaten them, break the wall. There's a weapons-rack in there with a pink weapon shaped like a pelican. It's one of the miscellaneous secondary weapons.

This is located in the Catacombs. Because the Dahaka is chasing you, consider using slow time to escape him. Get to the section where you have to pull three stones out of the wall to raise the central area. After pulling the first, go to the stairway, make a right, run on two walls and jump to the bar on the right side. Swing from the bar and follow the path and make a quick left. The fist is in a weapon rack to the left. The Rayman fist is unbreakable with a high attack rate but does little damage. If you throw it, you lose it forever.




To get the secret ending simply obtain all 9 life upgrades, when you get to the room before the Empress' throne room there will be a new sword waiting for you. It is the water sword and said to be the only thing that can kill the Dahaka. For your final battle, instead of fighting the Empress you fight the Dahaka.

The Dahaka’s attacks are repetitive and predictable. When far away he will shoot his tendrils throw the ground up at you, run around in circles to avoid it making your way ever closer to him. If you get too close he'll shoot out his tendrils directly at you, roll to dodge them. As you roll slow down time and go in for some heavy combo hitting, as you get him lower in health the Empress will help you and shoot him off the arena, he will be stuck on the ledge, stock up on sand tanks (They regenerate around the arena) and slow down time or use Ravages of time to inflict maximum damage. He'll eventually get back up and jump at you, constantly roll until he calms down and remains stationary. Repeat the same method as before until he is defeated.
