Bow units are weak against foot units, but are strong against horse
units. However, bow units are only effective when they attack horse
units from a distance. At close range, the 2 units are even.




Earthquakes usually hit in the western regions around Xia Pi, Xiao
Pei, etc. around Sun Jian's 1st capital. Earthquakes are not as
bad as floods, but they inflict more damage to the gates. It is
recommended that you start in the central plains to avoid them.



Floods occur usually in the southern regions and sometimes in the
east and the west. Floods can destroy or damage the gates and
destroy many crops. Start your army in the area around the Central
Plains unless you want to keep rebuilding it every 6 to twelve
months.



Have a saved game file from Dynasty Warriors 5 or Romance Of The
Three Kingdoms 9 on your memory card to unlock "Heroes Across Time"
scenario (scenario 9) in the gallery. Alternatively, successfully
unite China in any scenario playing as any character.

Unlock 100 Historical Officers by meeting them during game play to
access Page 6 of the Special Portraits 2 (Kessen 3 characters) in
the gallery.

Unlock 200 Historical Officers by meeting them during game play to
access Page 7 of the Special Portraits 2 (Kessen 3 characters) in
the gallery.
Have a saved game file from Romance Of The Three Kingdoms 9 on your
memory card to access 6 new character portraits in the Special
Portraits in the gallery.
Life Span Extensions option:
Complete Heroes Across Time scenario (scenario 9).



This is an intermission sequence where Liu Bei meets his 2
brothers, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei and gets help from Jian Yong to end
the chaos. The only characters you can get this with is Liu Bei,
Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, and Jian Yong. It will appear when you play it
from the 1st years.



There are five playable ranks in the game: Free Officer, Vassal,
Prefect, Viceroy, and Sovereign.



You will unlock this intermission sequence with all officers. Play
the 1st years and it will appear as soon as you start.
