Before getting this i thought no game could pass up ff7 but i was wrong i went to my friends house who owned it and i was amazed. i was a little confused with the gambits and the new battle style but now everything is just automatic. great game |

At first i really didn't like this game. Running around Rabanastre was quite frankly a pain in the arse, and until i'd mastered the arts of ''using a map'' :P hah.... i almost gave up. However, the video sequences are gripping.... and making mindblowing appearances from those Headhunter guys boosted my confience in the game.
Barthelio is absolutely my favourite guy. He's a level-headed guy and shows up the typical youthful arrogance consistently appearing in lead characters such as Vaan, Tidus and Cloud (not leaving out the Gulwings).
I'm still in the early aspects of the game, trying to find a guy ive got to give a sword to form Old Dalan. I suppose that's one major downfall.... There is a large downfall in basic direction.... and once your in tehre... your very much on your own. If your going to commit yourself to this game, listen and take in the names and places and directions of everytihng people tell oyu, all you'll spend half of your gaming time wnadering.
Apart from that, the only other thing that annoys me is conversations. For example; Vaan and Old Dlana were having a chat, voices and all, and then, half way thorugh an improtant conversation, the voices just went blank and i had to read everything. I find that annoying, and quite lazy from a gamemakers point of view, but i guess they have to let down everywhere.
I look forward to it's continuation.
It's like a whole new game comapred to older FF's.

Well i think the storyline is pretty dull the battle is awesome but they did better than the last final fantasy game the last one was really crap i ended up chucking it in the bin after just watching the opening of it. |

It has good graphics, great gameplay but the storyline is a little bit short, but it's fun to play, you cannot be bored to it cause even if you have defeated all the marks, bosses, and others, their is still strong enemies, the most awsome part that I like is the espers and the weapons, they are cool.... It is sad tough cause when you search the real ending of FF12 in the WIKIPEDIA it says there that in the after the battle of the empire fleets, Vaan disappeared, some say he died......... |

Im a fan of Final Fantasy and have played seven. Never thought seven could be outmatched but it has. However if seven was remade using FFXII style (i wish) it would be the best game ever created!FFXII's battle system is much better than the older games when you have to wait your turn and it doesn't look like a real battle cause they're all just standing there taking turns, and then after every battle comes the victory music and the item and gil screen.And the Graphics on FFXII are very good,detailed and realistic.... Best Final Fantasy yet.. |

Finally, a game that may be good enough to make the world stop creaming over ff7( in which I beat that game a few years ago if not more). A top of the list Final Fantasy. Balthier is my favorite character from this one, although all had great characteristics and were also good. The plot was different than other final fantasys which made it good too. I loved spending time in my masterbatorium while at the Eruyt Village! Personally, a bit to easy for longly dedicated players. Didn't like the fact that famous weapons such as the masamune were usless under a golden axe or zodiac spear. Nice to hear the word Espers from part 6, although they were usless after a few hours of gaining levels. Seemed like none of them will be remembered after the next one comes out. Also, no more "Yuna characters". Begining to be annoying. Overall, beyind my little personal dislikes lies a very fun, enjoyable final fantasy game. |

THIS IS THE BEST GAME I EVER PLAYED! I could just name all of the monsters off FinalFantasy 12! I made a pro Gambit System to beat almost everything but not Vayne. I spent about 7 freakin hours to lvl up at the Dalmasca Steaping to lvl 12, trust me its hard! |

It most definetly is the greatest FF game since FFVII. the graphics are superb and the battle system, whilst bein awkward at first, is very well thought out. it is suitable challenging without being impossible to complete, and there are many sidequests to do. All in all it is a fantastic game. |

Great graphics, great game play, great storyline. Only thing I didn't like was having to move the camera all the time, but after awhile I became used to it and barely noticed it. All in All I think it's a very awesome game. |

Truth be told, nothing here blows my socks story-wise... but it's engaging enough save for some minor oddities on the minute details. On terms of graphics and gameplay, the team had crafted a wonderful masterpiece. The graphics are exceptional and presented very smoothly. Gameplay is surprisingly innovative compared to the traditional FF gameplay and keeps you on your toes; it's friendly enough for the younger target groups, but also provides fairly intricate challenges to occupy seasoned gamers for hours on end. An entertaining, well-balanced game in all; a much-anticipated fresh addition to the Final Fantasy Saga. |

I played final fantasy 3 to final fantasy x-2 but i gave up on them cuz its boring, all same battle styles and systems. but FF12 can change the history of RPG games!!! i doubt that it can be the most popular game ever!!! or it IS the most popular game ever!!! I was really looking forward to playing this game and when i first got it the storyline was so complex i had to turn it off and start it again, the names threw me off. There was so much to take in before the game had even started. The story line for me wasnt as fantasy as i would have like, unlike 10 were there was 'sin' and 'blitzball' like things more out of this world.
The battle system and the gambits and stuff took a lil gettin use to but i got there. However, I think this game is alot harder because its live battle and everything has to be done live while some thing is happily attcking you while u try and heal yourself, and alot of the time ends up with you not succeding and end up KO'd.
The time it takes to bulid up your chracters can become annoying, I had to start again at some points cos i was too weak to continue, now im stuck, and I havent played it in a couple of months because of that, but obviously i wanna know what happens at the end so I will play again.
My favourite character has to be Balthier, the accent owns.
over all it gets a good from me becasue despite what I didnt like about it I think the graphics are immense, they really out done themselves this time, and to put all the characters on the screen live but keep the graphics to an amazing standard was a job very well done. I look forward to 13...if i have the money to get PS3...freaking rediculous price...:D |

Well i have played all the series and completed them except 12.. i havn't had the time.. and only managed about 20 hours of gameplay.....
The game is good.. really good.. but i still prefer final fantasies 7-10-2 because well.. look at em lol they are amazing...... and final fantasy keeps upgrading.. and its going well..
i will make time to play this game alot more. because the story line is insane.. the Battle system has changed alot which makes it more interesting..
i havn't even got an esper yet.. thats because i level up in the westersands using quickening's to take out the dive talon and this big thunder evil thing + Werewolfs :P but yehh all going well
well i give this game a full 10 stars and i shall report back when i have finished :-D |

I disagree with others about the difficulty of this game. As with the other FF games, you must take the time to level up and prepare your characters for battle. If you do this throughout the game, it is easy. The license board is easy to understand and use, the characters are new and fresh and the storyline is much different than other FF games, which is a good change. The whole aspet of an RPG game is to take your time and enjoy the story and the growth of your characters. Don't underestimate the stoyline of FF XII, I think we'll all be surprised throughout the game... |
