Final Fantasy 12 PS2 comments

Oh man I I like this game like hell. I always play it when im bored and always discover something new. I played it over 200 hours, and in that 200 hours I didnt even finished my beastiary. Its too cool. Everybody who didnt try has to try it. The game is sooo damn cool!

Its anice game and some puzzle is hard to solve so its a chalenging one..

The music: Excellent. It sounds like a well turned out grand movie score/soundtrack, remenicent of star wars and the Indiana Jones flicks.

GRAPHIC IMPACT: Totally unexpected! The cut scenes are mature, well thought out, if it was a major motion picture the plot would be applauded - but the VISUAL MAGIC is nothing less than goddamn stunning. LUCASFILM/INDUSTRIAL LIGHT and MAGIC grade (the movies, not the games that LF made).

BATTLE SYSTEM: I have never seen anything like it or quite so well integrated. it is smoothly flowing and gets better as each addition becomes added on as I get farther into the plot and story. The gambit system is a (expletive deleted)ing AWESOME way of going about party battle orchestration... FIVE STARS!

LENGTH: NO one buys an RPG unless they want to get every last bit of story AND play time out of it that they can. With all of the side quests I have seen noted online this thing is just plain EPIC. (as it should be, to uphold "FF" traditions)

CHARISMA:
This sucker captivates like no other. At the same time I got this one, I found a copy of FF 10 ("Aquarium Boys Excellent Adventure") There IS NO comparison...

I will add more comments later - if you don't have this one you better grab it. It doesn't get any better than this, and you can't beat the price since it is discounted these days

I LOVE this game. It is very time consuming, sometimes it can be exhausting....but Final Fantasy 12 is definately a game worth owning.

Im a fan of Final Fantasy and have played seven. Never thought seven could be outmatched but it has. However if seven was remade using FFXII style (i wish) it would be the best game ever created!FFXII's battle system is much better than the older games when you have to wait your turn and it doesn't look like a real battle cause they're all just standing there taking turns, and then after every battle comes the victory music and the item and gil screen.And the Graphics on FFXII are very good,detailed and realistic.... Best Final Fantasy yet..

I played a ff game on the ps1 and I liked it (it was a demo) I was instantly hooked my little brother thought I was crazy playing it and not bloody roar. I played that demo to many times to count only getting to the part were you enter a cave and kill some worm thing. I decided to get the 12 one at wal mart. like the one I had on a demo I was instantly hooked and he still tells me now how boring it is because theirs no blood and gore. it took me a little over 100 hours to beat it and I loved every moment of it. I remember staying up until 4 in the morning playing it and only going to bed because my parents got up for work at 4:30. I would recommend it to any fan of amazing plot and exciting twist that left me begging for more. I only own ONE ff and im thinking of buying ff 10 from gamestop. I want to know if this one is just as good as the 12

I have been a die hard fan for final fantasy but some games in the final fantasy serious are just boring like ff1and ff tactics but there is exeptions like final fantasy 7 which is a legend and the sequals like crisis core are the best ive played ff 9 is an awsome game with the tetra masterbut FINAL FANTASY 12 was the best I played with the free roam system instead of seeing the screen shake when a battle is immanent( yeah good for epiletics)LL well its a good game so BUY IT ITS WORTH IT.

Before getting this i thought no game could pass up ff7 but i was wrong i went to my friends house who owned it and i was amazed. i was a little confused with the gambits and the new battle style but now everything is just automatic. great game

At first i really didn't like this game. Running around Rabanastre was quite frankly a pain in the arse, and until i'd mastered the arts of ''using a map'' :P hah.... i almost gave up. However, the video sequences are gripping.... and making mindblowing appearances from those Headhunter guys boosted my confience in the game.

Barthelio is absolutely my favourite guy. He's a level-headed guy and shows up the typical youthful arrogance consistently appearing in lead characters such as Vaan, Tidus and Cloud (not leaving out the Gulwings).

I'm still in the early aspects of the game, trying to find a guy ive got to give a sword to form Old Dalan. I suppose that's one major downfall.... There is a large downfall in basic direction.... and once your in tehre... your very much on your own. If your going to commit yourself to this game, listen and take in the names and places and directions of everytihng people tell oyu, all you'll spend half of your gaming time wnadering.

Apart from that, the only other thing that annoys me is conversations. For example; Vaan and Old Dlana were having a chat, voices and all, and then, half way thorugh an improtant conversation, the voices just went blank and i had to read everything. I find that annoying, and quite lazy from a gamemakers point of view, but i guess they have to let down everywhere.

I look forward to it's continuation.
It's like a whole new game comapred to older FF's.

Were do you get blizaraand thundara?some pleaze tell me. also whats the wraiths weakness i almost killed it then it kill me 1 hit but i have 325 hp, at the time i had full hp.

If you don't get this game,you is not a real gamer because it has excellent graphics,a excellent story and the newest battle engine.
very cool summon ,and easter eggs from old ffgames.Get this game if you love RPG,LONG games,or A fan of final fantasy.

This is a great game, nice idea on da liscence board an gambits. weapons are mint, love bows an magic!! strory lines abit confusing but the gameplay is great

Well i think the storyline is pretty dull the battle is awesome but they did better than the last final fantasy game the last one was really crap i ended up chucking it in the bin after just watching the opening of it.

It is the ultimate RPG game!!! best ff I have ever played, it is full of riddles and stuff.... and it is also challenging.\\

How do you beat the head hunters in the mine? what attack should you use on them? they always kill my good players like vaan,balthier and basch.

Finally, a game that may be good enough to make the world stop creaming over ff7( in which I beat that game a few years ago if not more). A top of the list Final Fantasy. Balthier is my favorite character from this one, although all had great characteristics and were also good. The plot was different than other final fantasys which made it good too. I loved spending time in my masterbatorium while at the Eruyt Village! Personally, a bit to easy for longly dedicated players. Didn't like the fact that famous weapons such as the masamune were usless under a golden axe or zodiac spear. Nice to hear the word Espers from part 6, although they were usless after a few hours of gaining levels. Seemed like none of them will be remembered after the next one comes out. Also, no more "Yuna characters". Begining to be annoying. Overall, beyind my little personal dislikes lies a very fun, enjoyable final fantasy game.

THIS IS THE BEST GAME I EVER PLAYED! I could just name all of the monsters off FinalFantasy 12! I made a pro Gambit System to beat almost everything but not Vayne. I spent about 7 freakin hours to lvl up at the Dalmasca Steaping to lvl 12, trust me its hard!

Best game ever!!! any final fantasy lover must have this!!! I played final fantasy 3 to final fantasy x-2 but i gave up on them cuz its boring, all same battle styles and systems. but FF12 can change the history of RPG games!!! i doubt that it can be the most popular game ever!!! or it IS the most popular game ever!!! I am the #1 fan of FF games and movies!!!

This is the best game ever ( other that battle front 2) it is freaken hard though so dont get ur hopes up begginers

I disagree with others about the difficulty of this game. As with the other FF games, you must take the time to level up and prepare your characters for battle. If you do this throughout the game, it is easy. The license board is easy to understand and use, the characters are new and fresh and the storyline is much different than other FF games, which is a good change. The whole aspet of an RPG game is to take your time and enjoy the story and the growth of your characters. Don't underestimate the stoyline of FF XII, I think we'll all be surprised throughout the game...
