Well what can i say except wow....This was the start of a briliant and very sucsessful series of games.I can still remember the time when i first caught a level 2 pidgey and had the most fun training it and evolveing it ( i have it on my team now as a pidgot lev:100).
The graphics are not good compared to what we have now days but come on we are talking 10 years ago and the little block charcter you are is not the best of role models but still it is a brilliant game.There are 150 pokemon to catch in the whole game and your main goal is to beat the elite four they are the four best trainer in all of kanto and are a bit like 4 more gym leaders.Before you can challenge them you have to travel around the world battleing gym leaders there are 8 of them altogether, they are also some of the best trainers around but they are just placed in gyms sprad out in towns.
This is one of the games that you can play for hours on end and never get bored of it, and my opinion on the gam is it is BRILLIANT. |

This is the best game ever I have a mew a mewtwo a charizard and all the legendary birds on my team and they were so easy to get. |

I don't know that many people that have not played a Pokemon Game and fewer who have said they hated all of them. As for Pokemon Blue version, this had to be one of the best games in the series. Many people probably played this game as kids, I did. Anyway, I have always liked Pokemon, but I think the new games are starting to lose the concept that made this game so fun and good to play. The storyline pretty much was the foundation of great games. Though there were several problems with the game, which is why I wouldn't give it a max rating. Bot overall, the pros outweigh the cons by a landslide. Possibly one of the best games ever. |
