In life there are many choices you can take things fast, or take things slow. In the Sims3 this still reigns true. The freedom and liberty of your options is significantly large, keeping a player interested and playing for hours. I do however believe that anyone that has played the Sims3 Predecessor The Sims2 will feel at loss for a few of the Creation Liberties, but will reveal in a few of the newer options. Another thing that will deeply effect the game play is the speed up rate of ultra speed mode. The high-end fast forward mode has been slowed down SIGNIFICANTLY compared to both the Sims 1 and 2. In fact a lot of the Sims3 game play is spent waiting for your sims to return home where as it may have taken around 5 minutes for them to return on double fast forward before now might take as long as 15minutes to return from a job with the same hours. There something I still don't understand with all the sim games. Since almost everyone has a digital camera today, why haven't they designed software to turn your photos into sims. I mean. It is the Sims 3! I could understand for consoles it would be more difficult, but it is on your PC. Wake up EA and make an editor that makes it a little more easy to make your friends and family. The Sims 3. What can I say? It is a great game. When you get bored of it, you just make a new acount, and you make sure you don't make the same mistake. I would recommend it for anyone who would like life games, cause you can make it your life! If I ever get bored I put the disk in, and I play away! (4/5) Good

This is my first experience with the Simms, so as I am still very new I can comment only that OMG what a learning curve ! (3/5) The Graphics do look very nice so I'm impressed .....so far.

The Sims 3, I will admit was a major let down to me in the whole Sims series. I first started playing the Sims back on its first debut and I loved it. This installment (Sims 3) did though, what many people wanted more of, which was more customization to their sims and objects. Yes the creativity it brought was endless and exciting but with the cost of a good chunk of objects and overall gameplay. I was extremely hesitant at buying the Sims 3 because I was so attached to the SIMplicity of the original. I firmly stand behind the fact that the first Sim series the Sims original to Superstar and Makin' Magic, those releases were some of the best. The Sims 2 pushed it a little but It was still good. The Sims 3 in my opinion is just a decent game. The Sims franchise made the switch from the quirky and fun fantasy addons to a more realistic and not so appealing game, much like all games are trying to be now-a-days. (3/5) Sims 3
