Game is good but there is still something to do. graficks are good and playable are good but game is too easy or if you change you difficulty to medium, hard, very hard you die almoust every time. but still the game is good.

Fallout 3 is by far one of the best games ive ever played and is clearly a bethesda game you dont need ot see the logo just by the style of gameplay and unlike oblivion everything is diffrent you never have to worry about have you been to this place already the fighting so much more realistic you dont hear them go ouch you see them but unlike oblivion enimies inside sometimes never regenerate at leas as far as ive played thats a bit of a downer but other than awsome I mean unlike oblivion you have a wide variety of choices that actually have major effects on the game the whole lecal limit is a bit anoying but at least the graphics are better the map is smaller but they packed so much cooler stuff in fallout3 then in oblivion

I was really looking forward to buying this game, I was blown away by Oblivion IV and was expecting the same from Fallout 3.
I am impressed with the style of play and the graphics are simply breath taking but I am still a little dissapointed.
There are'nt as many freeform missions as there were in Oblivion plus some of the locations simply serve no purpose apart from being a ghost town. I spent an hour or so in certain buildings/towns chasing my tail with a false impression I was doing a freeform quest when really I was just hitting a dead end. It can be frustrating and I hate to say boring at times.

The main story line is interesting but quite short. You could in theory complete the main quest in an afternoon once you know what your doing.

The weapons are cool though. You can also obtain Weapons Schematics, these let you fabricate different homemade toys of death which range from plausable to completely bizzare.

Bad guys are plentyful, ranging from the blood thirsty gunghoe Raiders, tunnel dwelling ghouls, ferocious mutated bears, dogs, rats, scorpions, cockroaches and blow flies, to the huge Super Mutants and not forgetting your own personal hunter death squad the Talon Company Mercenaries who tail you relentlessly through the game trying to kill you and cash in on the reward.

All in all a very good game but Bethesda must be kicking themselves because it could have been awesome.

This game is a dissapontment to all the fallout fans in the world, and oblivionb fans alike. This game is so, how do I say this, lifeless. All the characters are, well, dead inside, they have no emotion and all the doialouge is really bad. The worst thing about this mess of a game is that they expect you to know how to play from the beginnign. I spent a least an hour trying to figure out the controls after the turiol, and I still havent figured it all out yet. Also they expect you to know how to master the gun the first thing in the game two, your not even 12 minutes into the real game when you got a gian ass monster trying to kill you and you dont know how to fire. It is to hared plain and simple, I put it on the easiest mode possibale and I am still getting wasted by raches, now I am not the best gun player in teh world, far from it, but I do now that I can hold my own when I neede two. And this game is just so designed for the good players they forgot about the middle man, the people who mainly by th game. Also your health is a major letdown, it is really hard to refill and you havbe very little of it, and every attack hurts you a LOT. Also the gun to hit ration is really bad, when you shoot your enemy take almost no damage, who cares if he is crippled in the leg, he is still attacking, me why wont he die. Also you are always outnembered in the game, you will be facing about 10 raiders with awsome guns that will kill you in a second, even when you cant even fire off a couple of shots in the first place. It was a real dissapontment for me and will probaly be the same for you, if you must play this game, rent it.
