During the 27th century, greed and man's lust for power lead ultimately to an all out nuclear war and the total destruction of the earth's surface. The survivors withdraw themselves to the depths of the world's oceans where they begin the painfully slow process of building a new world - AQUA. But a secret scientific experiment goes fatally wrong and has unforeseen consequences for the citizens of AQUA. Caverns that have been concealed before by the continental slopes and have been well hidden underneath the seabottom are now collapsing and releasing horrifying monsters. These creatures are ancient Gods that have been shut up as captives up to that moment.
