When using the shop wizard, have you ever noticed that usernames beginning with certain letters always seem to be on the same page? This is no coincidence and can be used to your advantage when buying and selling items.

Below is the list of the thirteen letter groups:

When selling, you can price your items most efficiently by seeing what other people in your letter group are selling for. First, look at the above list to see which of the letter groups the first letter of your username falls into [i.e. the name "username" would be in the "H U 7" group]. Then refresh the wizard results page for the item you want to sell until you find the one containing usernames beginning with any of those letters in your letter group. Once you come across the page, you can determine what price you should set your item for. If you want it to sell quickly, you'll likely have the best luck pricing it an np cheaper than one of the cheapest prices on the page. Once setting the price, you can refresh at the wizard until returning to the page containing the letter your username starts with and see your name and item in the list.

When buying, don't accept the lowest price on the first page that pops up [unless you're certain that that item is a real good deal at that price, of course], refresh several times to see as many of the thirteen pages as possible. First you must acquire a petpet Krawk [rare find in the Tyrannian petpet shop, otherwise auctions and the trading post might be the best chance of finding one for sale]. Make sure that you have no more than three pets. If you have four, you will have to abandon one at the Pound [take off any petpets and worn/equipped items to make sure you don't lose them].

Attach the petpet Krawk to one of your pets and give it a name [click on the petpet picture on your Quick Reference page]. The name you give it will become the name of your pet Krawk, so be sure to choose one you like. Since no two pets may share the same name, it is important that the name given to the Krawk is unique. You can check that no other pets have your chosen name by doing a search for it in the search box.

If you know you want your Krawk to be painted a certain color that is available to both petpet and pet versions [the list of possible petpet and pet Krawk color options can be found at the Rainbow Pool in Neopia Central] it might be cheaper to paint the petpet version since petpet paint brushes are generally cheaper than pet paint brushes. The pet Krawk's color should end up the same as the petpet Krawk as long as both are able to be painted that color.

Now that you have no more than three pets and a uniquely named petpet Krawk, it's time to visit the Fungus Caves on Krawk Island. This area is unmarked on the map, but it is that raised caves area near Smugglers Cove. Clicking on the caves, you will be taken inside where you should get the option of feeding fungus to your petpet Krawk. The petpet should then transform into a pet Krawk that has your chosen name.


Due to the rarity and high cost of petpet Krawks, other options of gaining a Krawk are by using a morphing or transmogrification potion on one of your pets you'd like to become a Krawk. Playing with a Magical Krawk Plushie is another option [it must say it is a magical plushie, a normal plushie won't work]. The last and most time consuming option is to find or buy all nine pieces of the Secret Laboratory Map to gain access to the lab ray and zap your pet everyday until it turns into a Krawk.
