Esper Belias	100%
Previous incarnation: As the Aries Lucavi demon Velius in Final Fantasy Tactics. Velius was probably a mistranslation of Belias that was used in the Japanese version. The fire-based Belias has the distinction of being the first Esper you will get, the weakest Esper you have, the hardest Esper to appear on your Skypirate's Den page, and the only Esper you MUST summon in the game to complete it. The gods created Belias but deemed this two-headed, four-armed beast a monstrosity, so they kicked him away. Angered at the abandonment, Belias rebelled against the gods with the other Espers, but failed and instead found another purpose in life: to guard the Tomb of King-Dynast Raithwall. Cost: 10 LP. Mist Charge level: 1 Defense: 20. Magick Defense: 15 Absorbs fire. Weak to water. Halves damage received from the other six elements. Be at least level 17 for the first esper. Have one healer. I always use Ashe, but hey, it's your decision. Use Basch for healing if you want, though you shouldn't since he is the strongest character. It's a known fact how strong he is. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE WATER. Set the first gambit on all of your main party's gambits. You can get water from Dyce. Dyce actually can always appear in the very bottom of the Ogir Yensa Sandsea, where the teleport crystal is. HE ALWAYS APPEARS. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS. Even when you get to the stage of the game where you go to Balfonheim. Let's repeat. ALWAYS. He sells raise and cura. Cura cures a good amount a HP to each party member. At first it costs 32 MP to cast. IT gets lower by each few levels. You don't need it, but it's really useful and easy. Raise is sort of like pheonix down, but the reason it's different is only because it's a magic. Raise costs around 22 MP, possibly 27. This can be extremly useful, because it gives you more HP than Pheonix down. It gets rid of KO. Buy an iron hammer for at least one party member. Buy extra potions, and keep Vossler alive. Great party members to use are Basch, Balthier, and Vaan or Fran. Dont take Penelo. You might wanna take Ashe for a healer, if not use Vaan or Fran as a healer. DEFINATLY use at least Balthier, Basch or possibly Fran. If not then Vaan. If you don't know how to get to the cloister of flame(I had trouble for about 3 weeks.), all you do is find the two gems in each area with those three waystones(ok actually above and below that main area, and when you touch the last gem you will see a passage, when that acient table thing raises down in the south part. Look it up.)yeah. Now that's enough so go fight him! Hope this helps! ~Emily
