| Step by step on how to do the file editing 1.dont put in the game.just click on start as what you would do as a regular thing go to "My COMPUTER" 2.find your file for prison tycoon.I dont know where it is located on your computer but its under prison tycoon 2. 3.once you find it click on it then open the data file.it should be the only file once you open it. 4.then find data xml document.right click on it so a little list pops up that should say this OPEN EDIT OPEN WITH choose open with and open it with wordpad or notepad.a confusing windo will pop up but its really not that confusing. 5.scroll down till you find this,its not far down models/buildings/angola/cellblocks/dorm/dorm_1.nif 28 24 5000 0 dormitorycreation 0 0 you SEE the 5000.that is the the cost of dorm one.you can change that 5000 to what ever you like.like 1$ or 2$.THEN SAVE THIS FILE! Its the same for everything else.scroll down a tadbit more and ill show you another one models/buildins/angola/cellblocks/dorm/dorm_2.nif 36 24 8000 o dormitoryrecreation 0 0 Just change that 8000 to however much you want it to be.NOTE.inorder for the money to apply in freemode and in challenge mode you have to change every cost of everything that you want.AFTER your done and you want everything to be normal just uninstall the game and reinstall the game. | ||

| Ok it can be confusing and it involves some file editing so make sure u make backup of the file i will explain step by step how to edit the file first open "DATA.XML" with a text editor like notepad for example for the example i will take the low security guard tower then u get a long list like this: models/buildings/mcneil/towers/tower1.tga 1 models/buildings/mcneil/towers/tower1.nif 4 4 3000 0 staff 15 1 now the editing is very easy the nr 3000 stands for the amount of cash the tower costs to place just change it to 30 for example and save when u start the game it only costs 30 to place and this works for all the buildings i will keep u updated when i find out more SilverAngel | ||
