When overthrowing a province, always check on the map and political map. Make sure to focus first on the province you wanted to be overthrown in the political map. Then, look at the map. You will see that on one province there is always one or more city and a military base. Liberate the cities first before going into the military base within a province so you can have many points. For example, in a province there are two cities and, of course, a military base. If you directly liberate the base, you only get 50 points since bases are worth 50 points. But if you liberate first the two cities then the base, it will give you a total of 110 points since cities are worth 30 points. Remember that you can only overthrow a province if it is colored red in the political map. If it is colorless, it is government stable. You can only liberate it after completing missions, not side missions. After the mission, the colorless will turn to red meaning you can only liberate it. Green ones mean it is already guerilla stable.
