You can unlock extra cups by beating a cup and winning it and having over 100 coins(remember,when doing those following things,you can only play those extra cups in the cc where you beaten a cup and had over 100 coins)

Shortcut on Ribbon Road	67%
Just before the first jump, hit the turbo on the right side of the track, then hit the jump. The turbo enables you to land on the path just after the second jump. To do this hit the turbo and the jump (as I said), then whilst in mid-air, turn right when you're at the highest you can go. If done correctly, this shaves about 5 secs of time (per lap!). This is hard to do at first, but when mastered, it will come naturally. By a mario kart master P.S. I also submitted: Turbo on Rainbow Road

Here is a list of what the items abilities are :: red shell: follows who ever is in front of you green shell: does not follow,bounces blue spiky shell: goes right to the 1st place guy banana: makes other guys behind you slip mushroom: it will give you a slightly powerful boost star: will make you go a little faster and be invincable{can still crash} the ghost: can be not hit, and will steal item from person behind or in frontnot optional lightning bolt: minimizes other players and makes you go faster this is me the cheat and tip shinobi:apumju

Boost on Yoshi Desert	44%
On the last turn before you finish the lap, look behind the quick sand and you'll see a yellow strip that makes you jump across the lake, just don't hit the quick sand!

Drifting boost	75%
Right before a turn push and hold jump button if done correctly you will drift if you drift perfectly you will get a small boost a blue flame will come out of the of the back of your kart.

Turbo on Rainbow Road	60%
Turbos are very important on rainbow road, so use them on any sharp turn, especially on the S turn
